Adam Mullen helps lead KBC with responsibility for the company’s vision, ongoing strategic initiatives, and expansion into new markets and business lines. He joined KBC in 2021 after spending 8 years in various leadership positions with CBRE.

In his previous role with CBRE, he served as Greater Philadelphia Market Leader. Adam was responsible for 450 people across the company’s entire regional business including brokerage, capital markets, debt and structured finance, property management, valuations and project management. Before moving into a geographic leadership role at CBRE in 2019, Adam led the Industrial & Logistics line of business in the Americas. He oversaw a team of 800+ brokerage professionals who were responsible for more than $55B in Industrial transactions in 2018.

Prior to joining CBRE in 2014, Adam led the Retail and eCommerce practice for Fortna, where he led companies on how best to solve complex supply chain problems in support of their business imperatives. His efforts spanned supply chain strategy, distribution center operations, material handling systems and warehouse management/execution systems implementation.

Adam grew-up in Naples, Florida, spent 14 years in Atlanta after attending college and now lives in Philadelphia. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Natalie, preferably while on road bikes.

Lauren Gilchrist is the Executive Vice President and Market Leader of the Greater Philadelphia Region. Gilchrist oversees Newmark Real Estate’s (Newmark’s) full suite of service offerings, managing strategic planning, revenue growth and profitability, recruitment and business development in the company’s Philadelphia, Wayne, Southern New Jersey and Delaware offices.

As Senior Vice President of Development, Sarina spearheads all of Post Brothers’ development projects and brings a wealth of experience in complex project planning, contractor negotiations, and every facet of project management. Sarina’s work on Post Brothers’ best-in-class residential portfolio includes the $250 million renovation of historic Presidential City, which was the largest redevelopment project in Philadelphia. Under Sarina’s leadership, Presidential City was transformed from an under-utilized, semi-suburban complex into the city’s largest luxury residential community, complete with a brand new, resort-style amenity center - Sora Pool Club. Sarina is a Founding member of the ABC Philadelphia Regional Council, board member of the Association of Builders and Contractors of Eastern PA, serves on the Board of Directors of the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia and is also currently the Vice Chair of the Government Affairs Committee at the BIA. Sandra Dungee Glenn is the founder and convenor of The Collective. She has served in executive-level positions in community development, education, public policy, and electoral politics for over 40 years. She is an experienced convener who brings diverse stakeholders together to attack multi-faceted, interdisciplinary urban issues.

Sandra Dungee Glenn served as Senior Policy Advisor to State Senator Vincent Hughes, 7th District, Philadelphia. In July 2017, she completed three years of service as Chief Executive Officer to Harambee Institute of Science and Technology Charter School, overseeing the education of over 500 children in grades Kindergarten to eight. As President of the American Cities Foundation for over 12 years she mobilized business and civic leaders, elected officials, clergy, and the educational community in pursuit of opportunities and improved life outcomes, particularly for the disadvantaged segment of this region. Her commitment and effectiveness were recognized in 2000 when she was appointed to the Board of Education for the School District of Philadelphia where she served until her appointment as a Commissioner to the School Reform Commission (SRC),the governing body of the School District of Philadelphia. In September 2007, Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell appointed her to the position of Chairwoman of the SRC. In 2009, following her tenure on the SRC, she was appointed to the Pennsylvania State Board of Education. In 2011, she was appointed to the U.S. Depart ment of Education’s Excellence and Equity Commission.

During her tenure on the School Reform Commission, Ms. Dungee Glenn’s focus was on the design, development and implementation of collaborative strategies. With her support and guidance Philadelphia developed its district strategic plan, implemented its legislatively mandated reform agenda, and recruited district leadership. She Co-Chaired the School District’s Campaign for Human Capital, an effort to develop permanent, long-term teacher recruitment and retention

strategies, including outreach to male teachers and teachers of color. She spearheaded the creation, development, and implementation of the nation’s first mandated African-American Studies course which is now a graduation requirement for all Philadelphia public high school seniors.

Ms. Dungee Glenn’s experience in political and community organizing is broad and deep. She served as Associate Director with thePhiladelphia Area Project on Occupational Safety and Health, Regional Director of Pennsylvania Citizen Action, and in leadership roles in local, state, and national elections from 1983 to 2001. Ms. Dungee Glenn was Pennsylvania State Director with the NAACP National Voter Fund, leading a statewide non-partisan voter mobilization campaign; and from 1991 to 1994 she served as Chief of Staff to State Senator Chaka Fattah. As President of the American Cities Foundation (ACF), she managed ACF’s role as convener of national and local public policy forums with government leaders, educators, researchers, funders, business and community leaders where it focused stakeholder attention on practical approaches to education reform, sustainable job and business growth, and community leadership and engagement. During her tenure, ACF launched 10 major initiatives, as well as several national and regional meetings and conferences.

Sandra has addressed audiences such as the Congressional Black Caucus, Urban League, Environmental Protection Agency, National Science Foundation, Pennsylvania Association of Colleges of Teacher Education, Pennsylvania Economy League, School District of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Alliance of Black School Educators, and other organizations. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2003 Leon J. Obermayer Distinguished Graduate Award; the Arts & Entertainment Network 2002 Biography Community Heroes Award; Women Making a Difference Award, 2001; the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Pennsylvania Chapter Women of the Year Award; Rebuilding Together Good Neighbor Community Service Award; the Robert Wood Johnson Urban Health Initiative Fellowship in 2003; and recognition by the Philadelphia Tribune as a Most Influential African-American for the three consecutive years of 2007, 2008, and 2009.

Ms. Dungee Glenn holds a certificate from the Kennedy School of Government Executive Program in Leadership in State and Local Government at Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Planning and Administration from Pennsylvania State University

Rija Beares focuses exclusively on representing corporate occupiers of real estate. In this role since the beginning of 2010, Rija provides integrated transaction services to clients in the Philadelphia region as well as globally. Rija leads Technology and Media Practice for CBRE in the Philadelphia MSA. Rija’s focus is on development of real estate strategies and implementation of action plans that support the business objectives of her clients . Since joining CBRE, Inc. in 2002, she has delivered a depth of transaction management and advisory services to her clients. Prior to joining the tenant representation team, Rija enjoyed six years of advising institutional and entrepreneurial owners in structuring lease transactions and developing lease-up strategies. peripherals market. Today the GE lighting line is a part of nearly every home automation and security platform offered in the United States.

Early in her career, Moorman led a team that became the most sought after marketing and management partnership in Baltimore real estate. She expanded the companies to include nationwide finance, brokerage, legal, and insurance offerings. Moorman oversaw $1.5 billion dollars of transactions in less than five years, including property acquisition management for the $500 million dollar expansion of Rutgers University.

Leslie started her real estate career at the Goldenberg Group, a regional mid-sized real estate development firm located in Blue Bell, PA, as an Associate Development Director. During her 7-year tenure, she was promoted three times ultimately achieving the position of Senior Vice-President of Development. Leslie led the development of a $50 million, 342,000 square foot shopping center, the largest single development in West Philadelphia and the largest development in a Federal Empowerment zone located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In 2008, Leslie and her partner Gregory Reaves, established Mosaic Development Partners. Since its founding, Mosaic has developed over $54 million in real estate projects and has created over 200 construction jobs and 100 full-time jobs. Leslie is a graduate of Brown University and Villanova School of Law.

Anne Bovaird Nevins serves as President of PIDC where she is responsible for the organization’s efforts to develop and implement collaborative strategies designed to drive economic growth to every corner of Philadelphia. In this role, Anne leads PIDC’s efforts to strengthen relationships with the public, private and philanthropic sectors to promote business growth, investment and development across the city and throughout its economy. She also directs internal activities around business development, capitalization, impact assessment, and the development and delivery of real estate and financing products that fill project financing gaps for neighborhood and large-scale commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments, deliver capital to growing businesses, and energize the development of the city’s workplaces of the future.

Prior to her appointment as President in January of 2020, Anne served as PIDC’s Chief Strategy and Communications Officer, a key member of the executive team where she oversaw capitalization, product development, strategic communications, and partnerships. Prior to this role, Nevins served as PIDC’s Senior Vice President for Marketing and Business Development for six years where she led a team that transformed PIDC’s brand identity, developed new lending products, and generated 360 loans to small, diverse, and growing businesses investing over $117 million dollars located in 94% of Philadelphia’s zip codes. Anne has served on the Mayor’s Refinery Advisory Group for the City of Philadelphia, co-managed Philadelphia’s Amazon HQ2 bid, and has created and led PIDC and ULI Philadelphia’s partnership advisory committee on the future of work and its impact on industrial and commercial land.

From 1999 to 2001, Anne served in the White House Office of Cabinet Affairs, which is responsible for coordination between the President and all cabinet agencies. She then joined the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and managed the logistical and hospitality arrangements for all U.S. dignitaries attending the Olympics. Anne then managed corporate sponsorships for the Kimmel Center, the regional performing arts center in Philadelphia. She next served as Director of Development for Historic Philadelphia, Inc. and raised substantial funds to renovate Franklin Square, an 8-acre urban park in the center of Philadelphia’s historic district. Anne has a Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School and a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives with her family in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia and serves on the Board of Directors of the Friends of Bache-Martin, supporting the neighborhood public school.

Avery brings more than two decades of industry experience as a leader in the multifamily industry. She drives

revenues for clients and lends her expertise with all property types ranging from new construction lease‐ups to

stabilized communities. Avery places a high value on relationships both with her team and her clients, which has

set the precedent for Multi Family advisory. This accessibility has led to confidence among her clients in their

investments. As Executive Managing Director of Investor Services for Cushman & Wakefield’s multifamily division,

Solomon is responsible for ensuring that the firm achieves its client‐centric goals and portfolio growth. She

spearheads initiatives that reinvent the firm’s multifamily business, drive asset profitability and portfolio level

strategic thinking. In the past year, Solomon has played a key role in integrating the firm’s multifamily team to its

asset services platform by helping bridge systems and processes between the two organizations. She has also

Avery’s multifamily experience was built within some of the top industry firms, including Greystar, Harbor Group

International and Winthrop Realty Trust. She continues to be an active industry leader overseeing the National

acquisition efforts for our clients and resides in Washington, DC.

Kieara L. Hill serves as an Associate at CBRE based in the downtown Philadelphia office. Ms. Hill partners with First Vice President Les Haggett to help lead CBRE Advisory & Transaction Services for Occupiers in Philadelphia, exclusively advising companies in the greater Philadelphia region with regard to their real estate needs.

Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Hill served as an Assistant Director at Savills, where she assisted in creating pitch decks, situation analysis and financial models for both prospective and current clients. Ms. Hill also gained professional work experience at Avison Young, Cushman & Wakefield, and Coldwell Banker while she completed her studies at Temple University.

Ms. Hill, a licensed salesperson in Pennsylvania, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from Temple University and a minor in Legal Studies. sustainable urban places. As a key member of the executive leadership team at Gattuso

Development Partners, Janice oversees the firm’s daily operations and drives strategic

initiatives across real estate development, marketing and leasing, business

development, construction, and asset management.

Prior to joining Gattuso Development Partners, Janice served as Director of Real Estate

Development & Leasing at Liberty Property Trust, one of the nation’s largest real estate

investment trusts. In this role, she evaluated and underwrote commercial urban

development and redevelopment projects valued from $25 million to $500 million. She

also played a central role in the master planning of 21 acres along the Camden

Waterfront in New Jersey, including the development of the LEED Platinum–certified

American Water Headquarters.

Earlier in her career, Janice practiced architecture with SUH Architects in Seoul, South

Korea, and KPMB Architects in Toronto, Canada. She is a licensed architect in Canada

and holds both LEED and WELL Accredited Professional credentials. Janice earned a

Bachelor of Architecture from McGill University, a Master of Architecture from the

University of Southern California, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the

University of Pennsylvania.

Deeply committed to community engagement, Janice serves on the Board of Directors

of Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia, where she previously completed two terms as

Briana Wilkins is Vice President, Development. At Parkway, she leads residential and mixed-use development of existing properties and new acquisitions across multiple markets. Prior to joining Parkway, Briana was Vice President, Philadelphia for Ivy Realty, where she oversaw a portfolio of almost 1M SF of residential and industrial assets. These included 1600 Callowhill, a $50M redevelopment of a warehouse into mixed-use multifamily. Before coming to Philadelphia, she worked as a project manager at Silverman in Jersey City, overseeing all aspects of development, from acquisitions through lease-up for one of Jersey City’s leading multifamily developers.

Briana graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University with a degree from the School of Public and International Affairs.

Paige Jaffe serves as First Vice President of Retail Services at CBRE in the Philadelphia office and has more than eight years of experience as a retail broker, working in High Street markets including Center City, New York City, Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh.

Prior to joining CBRE Paige worked at The McDevitt Company, where she represented the concepts of Urban Outfitters, Vetri Restaurants and many others. She has assisted Landlord and Tenants, offering both a deep knowledge of the market and high quality representation.

Paige has closed important deals on high profile locations for Barbour, Jack Wills, The North Face, Wells Fargo, Swarovski, Theory, Calypso, Goorin Bros. Shelah has over fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Nuveen Green Capital, Shelah had various lending roles including Commercial Real Estate Lending Specialist for Capitol Bank, VP Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer for Bancorp Bank, and Senior Investment Analyst for PGIM Real Estate Finance. Additionally, Shelah spent many years working as an advisor to commercial real estate developers, aiding in structuring their JV partnerships, and helping raise debt and equity. Shelah received a BS in Economics from the Wharton Undergraduate program at the University of Pennsylvania.
