Bill Shopoff has more than forty (40) years of real estate and investment experience. His expertise includes the acquisition, development, and sale of new and redeveloped residential and commercial properties throughout the United States, as well as partnership structure, debt placement, venture capital and investment underwriting. Mr. Shopoff has acquired over 1,000 properties on behalf of his various entities, including the acquisition of over 6,000 apartment units (fee or mortgage loans), the entitlement of over 20,000 lots/units of land suitable for single-family or multi-family development, as well as millions of square feet of commercial projects. Additionally, the firm has undertaken numerous development projects, with current developments underway including high cube logistics buildings, apartments, luxury condominiums and single-family build to rent product.

For over 30 years, Mr. Shopoff has led Shopoff Realty Investments and its predecessor firms. Since 1992, he has served as either Principal or as President of the Asset Recovery Fund, and since August 1999, as the President of Eastbridge Partners, L.P. Upon acquiring the assets of Eastbridge Partners, L.P. in April 2004, Mr. Shopoff created the manager, Shopoff Realty Investments, L.P., and has served as its President since that time. Bill Shopoff also stands as Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of Vertimass, LLC since 2012 and holds security licenses: Series 22, 24, 39, 62, 63, 79TO.

Involved in a number of industry associations, Mr. Shopoff is currently a member of Commercial Investment Real Estate and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Building Industry Association as well as Lambda Alpha International (LAI), a global land economics society. Mr. Shopoff also stands as Investment Committee member for LCAD (Laguna College of Art + Design) and board member for The Park Club professional network of Orange County.

Mr. Shopoff is also involved in various collegiate councils, being named to the Executive Council of the Real Estate Center at The University of Texas McCombs School of Business. This Executive Council advises faculty and staff on curriculum matters within the University’s real estate department. He is also a member of the University of California Irvine-Chief Executive Roundtable (UCI CERT), which works in concert with local business leaders and university faculty.

In addition to his industry and educational board involvement, Mr. Shopoff is also involved in various nonprofit foundations, including his former roles as President of the Board of Directors for the Central Coast Wine Classic Foundation, and as a board member of Global Energy Network International (GENI), a non-profit organization based in San Diego, California. Furthermore, Mr. Shopoff has also been the top fundraiser for the past 20 years for the AIDS LifeCycle, a 585-mile bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, which supports the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Mr. Shopoff is a frequent speaker on various real estate and investment related topics. He has been invited to participate as a key panelist and a guest speaker on professional panels at real estate conferences and industry events throughout the United States. He holds many awards and accreditations including nomination for the Orange County Business Journal’s 2023 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award.

Robert Olson is the founder of R.D. Olson Development, an Irvine, California-based firm engaged in the development and repositioning of commercial properties nationwide. He established the company in 1997 following nearly 20 years as founder and CEO of R.D. Olson Construction.

Mr. Olson guides the strategic vision for R.D. Olson Development with an active, hands-on approach toward every facet of construction and development. He works closely with design and development teams in some of the company’s most prestigious projects, providing valuable input for marketing, investment analysis, debt and equity structures, planning and entitlements, budgeting, constructability and end-user requirements. R.D. Olson Development is recognized for its ability to identify and act on opportunities, delivering solid execution through all phases of design and development while maintaining focus on the business strategy and the bottom line.

The majority of the firm’s developments have occurred in the Western U.S. and Hawaii, though Mr. Olson has built projects on a nationwide basis. A specialist in developing hospitality properties, the firm is also experienced in the development of office, retail, multifamily and recreational projects. Mr. Olson’s longstanding experience as a builder has proven to be highly beneficial for development projects.

Robert Olson has been recognized as a business leader and entrepreneur on numerous occasions. He is the recipient of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award, Construction Financial Management Association’s Construction Executive of the Year and the Orange County Business Journal’s Excellence in Entrepreneurship award. He was recently recognized as a 2012 Hotel Icon by Real Estate FORUM magazine, and is a frequent speaker at leading industry events.

Mr. Olson is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), including having served as Chairman of the California Coast Chapter. His philanthropic activity includes serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Orange County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Mr. Olson is an MBA graduate of the University of Southern California.

With over 15 years of experience in the acquisition of commercial real estate investments, Rudy has exhibited exceptional leadership throughout his career. Caamaño received his BA in Business and Management from the University of New Mexico and immediately started El Bravo Brand Seasoning Company, which was later acquired in 2010 by McCormick & Company, Inc. Simultaneously, Rudy also founded CIM financial as a vehicle to buy and sell residential and retail real estate. CIM successfully completed over 10 projects from 2002-2006 with a 100% success rate. Rudy’s greatest accomplishment was having the foresight to completely exit the market in 2006 and therefore, avoid the eventual real estate crash. Most recently, he became a partner at Wind Water Realty, Inc. and is directly involved in the firm’s day-to-day broker transactions. As CEO of Kelemen Caamaño Investments, Rudy focuses on acquisitions and debt for all investments. His background and expertise in raising capital, syndication, joint ventures, and asset management is what fuels his success and makes Caamaño a leader in real estate investments throughout Orange County and Los Angeles markets.

Russ Parker has been a managing partner of Parker Properties since 1994. Parker Properties is a “best in class” asset services and development company specializing in office campus projects and commercial real estate services projects in Southern California.

For the last 22 years, Parker Properties has developed and managed over 2,700,000 sf in 14 significant office projects. Our developments include the 150,000 sf build to suit for Advanced Bionics in Santa Clarita, the 167,000 sf QLogic Campus and the nine story Pacific Life Insurance building in Aliso Viejo. Parker Properties is currently under construction on the final phase of Summit, a 205,000 sf build to suit for medical device maker MicroVention/Terumo Corporation.

Brad H. Nielsen is a partner in the firm's Orange County and San Diego offices. Brad's practice involves all aspects of real estate transactions, including primarily the leasing of office, industrial and retail properties, ground leases, acquisitions, dispositions, CC&Rs and REAs, easement agreements, telecommunication license/access agreements and broker/listing agreements. Brad represents investment companies, developers, pension funds, real estate investment trusts and other entities in connection with a wide variety of commercial and residential real estate matters across the country. In connection with his leasing practice, Brad represents both landlords and tenants in office, industrial, retail, medical, shopping center and mixed use projects throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and various other states. In the past 15 years, Brad has completed commercial leasing transactions totaling more than 30 million square feet, representing a broad range of clients from large institutions to small family-owned companies. In addition, Brad has extensive experience in the acquisition and disposition of commercial office portfolios, retail and industrial centers and entitled and unentitled raw land.
