Our commitment to your safety

We have experienced the enthusiasm of returning to live in-person events this year, having safely and successfully hosted more than 10,000 executives to date. While we are thrilled to convene together to propel growth within CRE, COVID-19 remains a worldwide concern and Bisnow is committed to practicing safe protocols at our events. You can expect the following:
 

  • Proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-test result from the past 72 hours will be required as a condition of entry to this event. Proof of vaccination or negative test results can be shown via a physical card or a digital image of your records.

  • Temperature checks will be conducted at entry.

  • Attendance at the event will be capped and no tickets will be sold at the door.

  • Contact tracing procedures will be employed for any reported exposure.

  • Socially distanced seating will be available in the main event space.

  • Enhanced sanitization protocols will be adhered to throughout the event space including regularly disinfecting surfaces throughout the event and hand sanitizer provided to all attendees.

Jerome A. Fink is a co-founder & Managing Partner of The Bascom Group, LLC. Bascom

has completed over $12.0 billion in multi-family and commercial value-added

transactions since 1996 including more than 300 multifamily properties and 80,000

units. Bascom has ranked among the top 50 multifamily owners in the U.S. Bascom’s

subsidiaries and joint ventures include the Southern California Industrial Fund,

Rushmore Properties, Bascom Portfolio Advisors, Shubin Nadal Associates, Spirit Bascom

Ventures, REDA Bascom Ventures, MHF RM Holdings, Bascom Northwest Ventures,

Bascom Arizona Ventures, Harbor Associates, Village Partner Ventures, and the Realm

Group. Bascom’s subsidiaries also include Premier Business Centers, the largest

privately held executive suite company in the U.S.

Prior to founding Bascom, Mr. Fink acted as Senior Acquisitions and Sales Manager from

1991 to 1995 for Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company. His responsibilities included

market assessment, property identification and negotiation, and the acquisition and

disposition of real estate investments.

Mr. Fink holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a

Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from the University of

Wisconsin-Madison. He is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Managements (IREM)

and Turnaround Management Association (TMA). Mr. Fink is a licensed real estate

broker in the state of California, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a

Certified Property Manager (CPM), a Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA),

and a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP). He has appeared as a guest speaker at

various functions, including those for the Urban Land Institute, University of California

Los Angeles and Irvine, University of Southern California, and other assorted industry

events. Mr. Fink previously served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Real

Estate Alumni Association and is currently a member of the USC Lusk Center for Real

Estate Executive Committee.  He has previously served on the board for the Young

Presidents Organization (YPO) California Coast chapter and is currently a member of the

World Presidents Organization (WPO).

In 2004, Mr. Fink was awarded the Apartment Executive of the Year by the Real Estate

Conference Group, the industry's largest and most prestigious multifamily conference

on the West Coast, and was later awarded the Rising Star award by the University of

California Irvine Center for Real Estate in 2008. Mr. Fink was also recognized in the 2011

Multi-Family Executive Magazine. In 2016, Mr. Fink was awarded the Ernst & Young

Entrepreneur of the Year, Orange County.

Michael Grehl is a licensed attorney and real estate broker serving as Vice President of real estate for N4FL Development, Inc. Grehl has developed over 5,000 residential units and 20 million sf of retail-driven mixed-use projects throughout California, valued over $3B. Prior to joining N4FL Development, Grehl was a partner at the private equity firm, Merlone Geier Partners. In 2012, he received the San Jose Business Journal Structures Award for Best Mixed-Use Development for The Village at San Antonio located in Mountain View, CA. Grehl is currently developing OceanKAMP, a mixed-use development consisting of 700 multi-family units, a 300-key hotel, 130,000sf of office and retail space, along with a 6-acre surf lagoon located in Oceanside, CA. Prior to joining N4FL, Grehl was a real estate and land use attorney at Sheppard Mullin, and prior to that was an investment broker and analyst at Colliers International. He graduated from Duke University, cum laude, with bachelor’s degrees in economics and English, and went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Rochelle Mills leads Innovative Housing Opportunities and its Housing Innovation Fund (HIFund) affiliate. HIFund devises creative private financing to deliver catalytic and comprehensive affordable housing developments. Ms. Mills brings a diverse background in architecture, design, construction administration, community planning, writing, and cultural tourism. She is immediate past president of the Southern California Association of NonProfit Housing (SCANPH) and serves on several public and nonprofit boards (including CAL-ALHFA and Arts for LA), services committees, and leader groups.

Larry oversees the company’s multifamily development activities throughout the western United States. Larry has 27 years in the residential investment industry, including extensive development, acquisition and asset management experience of multifamily rental and for-sale communities. Prior to joining Fairfield Residential in 2011, he was managing director of Urban Housing Group (a subsidiary of The Marcus & Millichap Company) overseeing development in the western United States. Previously, he was a senior vice president for AvalonBay Communities Inc., where he led the company’s residential development efforts throughout southern California and was responsible for developing over 2,400 apartment homes. Larry has also held senior officer positions for Archstone Communities Trust and Lincoln Property Company where he was involved in developing and acquiring over 10,000 multifamily units. Larry received his BA in accounting from California State University, Fullerton. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a licensed California real estate broker. His professional affiliations include the Urban Land Institute and the National Multi-Housing Council.

His expertise includes a wide variety of product types ranging from single-family homes to downtown high-rise corporate headquarters office parks and industrial facilities. Ron’s residential experience includes the planning and design of communities consisting of single-family homes, townhomes and condominiums throughout California, numerous affordable apartments, and historic buildings. His projects have been recognized by the building industry as leading examples of quality design, new urbanism, sustainability, and smart growth.
