As President and CEO of Related California, Mr. Canori leads Related California's market rate, luxury and mixed-income residential development and strategy throughout California. He is currently overseeing a $6 billion pipeline of 7,000 multifamily and senior units, and over 1 million square feet of commercial space located in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and Orange County. He oversees an integrated development team that encompasses all aspects of development, including financial analysis, acquisition, planning and design, deal structuring, entitlements, public and private financing, construction, marketing and asset management.

For the past 21 years, Mr. Canori has played a lead role in building the company's substantial portfolio of mixed-use and mixed-income developments. He is responsible for the growth of the Related California pipeline, including the development of 4,000 multifamily units with development costs in excess of $3 billion.

Mr. Canori is a graduate of the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He serves on the Executive Committee for the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California and the Policy Advisory Board for the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Jerome A. Fink is a co-founder & Managing Partner of The Bascom Group, LLC. Bascom

has completed over $12.0 billion in multi-family and commercial value-added

transactions since 1996 including more than 300 multifamily properties and 80,000

units. Bascom has ranked among the top 50 multifamily owners in the U.S. Bascom’s

subsidiaries and joint ventures include the Southern California Industrial Fund,

Rushmore Properties, Bascom Portfolio Advisors, Shubin Nadal Associates, Spirit Bascom

Ventures, REDA Bascom Ventures, MHF RM Holdings, Bascom Northwest Ventures,

Bascom Arizona Ventures, Harbor Associates, Village Partner Ventures, and the Realm

Group. Bascom’s subsidiaries also include Premier Business Centers, the largest

Prior to founding Bascom, Mr. Fink acted as Senior Acquisitions and Sales Manager from

1991 to 1995 for Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company. His responsibilities included

market assessment, property identification and negotiation, and the acquisition and

disposition of real estate investments.

Mr. Fink holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a

Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from the University of

Wisconsin-Madison. He is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Managements (IREM)

and Turnaround Management Association (TMA). Mr. Fink is a licensed real estate

broker in the state of California, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a

Certified Property Manager (CPM), a Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA),

and a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP). He has appeared as a guest speaker at

various functions, including those for the Urban Land Institute, University of California

Los Angeles and Irvine, University of Southern California, and other assorted industry

events. Mr. Fink previously served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Real

Estate Alumni Association and is currently a member of the USC Lusk Center for Real

Estate Executive Committee.  He has previously served on the board for the Young

Presidents Organization (YPO) California Coast chapter and is currently a member of the

World Presidents Organization (WPO).

In 2004, Mr. Fink was awarded the Apartment Executive of the Year by the Real Estate

Conference Group, the industry's largest and most prestigious multifamily conference

on the West Coast, and was later awarded the Rising Star award by the University of

California Irvine Center for Real Estate in 2008. Mr. Fink was also recognized in the 2011

Multi-Family Executive Magazine. In 2016, Mr. Fink was awarded the Ernst & Young

Entrepreneur of the Year, Orange County.

Ryan Harvey

Ryan Harvey is a Director with Pacific Life, a 150-year-old, life insurance company headquartered in Newport Beach, CA. With over 13 years of experience in real estate investments, Ryan is responsible for sourcing equity and high-yield debt investments via direct and joint-venture opportunities on behalf of Pacific Life’s $158 billion general account. Prior to the launch of Equity & Alterative Real Estate Investments, Ryan was a producer within Pacific Life’s New York City and Real Estate Capital Markets, which focused on investments ranging from whole mortgages, including construction financing, to structured debt investments with senior/subordinate/pari-passu interests. The capital markets’ team also specialized in large loan originations with coverage responsibility for institutional clients, including REITs and fund investors, as well as life company co-lending arrangements. Prior to his time in capital markets, Ryan was a member of Pacific Life’s Southwest origination office responsible for commercial mortgage production in California, Arizona, and Texas. Ryan has been involved with the origination of $2.5 billion in debt investment and $785 million in total equity since joining Pacific Life in 2005. Prior to joining Pacific Life, Ryan began his career in web development with a Newport Beach-based benefits and compensation research/consulting firm. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management & Information Systems from California State University, Long Beach and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. Ryan and his wife Kim are the parents of five (5) children and one foster daughter. Ryan has been active in various local volunteer positions within the Boy Scouts of America and is an Eagle Scout recipient.

Seth Grossman

Mr. Grossman is a Senior Managing Director at Meridian Capital Group. He opened the firm’s San Diego office in May 2011 charged with expanding the company’s presence throughout the western and southwestern states. In his 10+ years leading the west coast for Meridian, Mr. Grossman has built a team that has originated and closed more than $12 billion of debt and equity transactions spanning more than 600 loans across primary and esoteric asset types.

Prior to opening Meridian’s San Diego office, Mr. Grossman was a Structured Finance Analyst Fitch Ratings, a Principal at Mission Peak Capital, and worked in Meridian’s New York City office where he closed in excess of $3 billion.

Mr. Grossman attended NYU, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management.

Larry oversees the company’s multifamily development activities throughout the western United States. Larry has 27 years in the residential investment industry, including extensive development, acquisition and asset management experience of multifamily rental and for-sale communities. Prior to joining Fairfield Residential in 2011, he was managing director of Urban Housing Group (a subsidiary of The Marcus & Millichap Company) overseeing development in the western United States. Previously, he was a senior vice president for AvalonBay Communities Inc., where he led the company’s residential development efforts throughout southern California and was responsible for developing over 2,400 apartment homes. Larry has also held senior officer positions for Archstone Communities Trust and Lincoln Property Company where he was involved in developing and acquiring over 10,000 multifamily units. Larry received his BA in accounting from California State University, Fullerton. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a licensed California real estate broker. His professional affiliations include the Urban Land Institute and the National Multi-Housing Council.

Bruce Fischer is the Chair of the West Coast Real Estate Practice and Co-

Managing Shareholder of the firm's Orange County office. He focuses his

practice on working with real estate funds, real estate investment trusts (REITs)

and institutional owners, and their advisors, in connection with the purchase

and sale, ground-up development, and financing of commercial properties

(including multi-property and multi-state portfolio sales and acquisitions),

directly or through the formation of joint ventures with local operators and/or

developers.

Bruce also represents institutional lenders and institutional owners in

connection with workouts involving complex loan restructuring, foreclosures,

deeds in lieu of foreclosure, and the appointment of receivers. Additionally, his

practice includes the representation of institutional lenders and borrowers

regarding the origination of construction loans, permanent loans and credit

enhancement involving commercial projects, multi-phase residential projects,

and affordable housing projects.

Bill Shopoff has more than forty (40) years of real estate and investment experience. His expertise includes the acquisition, development, and sale of new and redeveloped residential and commercial properties throughout the United States, as well as partnership structure, debt placement, venture capital and investment underwriting. Mr. Shopoff has acquired over 1,000 properties on behalf of his various entities, including the acquisition of over 6,000 apartment units (fee or mortgage loans), the entitlement of over 20,000 lots/units of land suitable for single-family or multi-family development, as well as millions of square feet of commercial projects. Additionally, the firm has undertaken numerous development projects, with current developments underway including high cube logistics buildings, apartments, luxury condominiums and single-family build to rent product.

For over 30 years, Mr. Shopoff has led Shopoff Realty Investments and its predecessor firms. Since 1992, he has served as either Principal or as President of the Asset Recovery Fund, and since August 1999, as the President of Eastbridge Partners, L.P. Upon acquiring the assets of Eastbridge Partners, L.P. in April 2004, Mr. Shopoff created the manager, Shopoff Realty Investments, L.P., and has served as its President since that time. Bill Shopoff also stands as Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of Vertimass, LLC since 2012 and holds security licenses: Series 22, 24, 39, 62, 63, 79TO.

Involved in a number of industry associations, Mr. Shopoff is currently a member of Commercial Investment Real Estate and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Building Industry Association as well as Lambda Alpha International (LAI), a global land economics society. Mr. Shopoff also stands as Investment Committee member for LCAD (Laguna College of Art + Design) and board member for The Park Club professional network of Orange County.

Mr. Shopoff is also involved in various collegiate councils, being named to the Executive Council of the Real Estate Center at The University of Texas McCombs School of Business. This Executive Council advises faculty and staff on curriculum matters within the University’s real estate department. He is also a member of the University of California Irvine-Chief Executive Roundtable (UCI CERT), which works in concert with local business leaders and university faculty.

In addition to his industry and educational board involvement, Mr. Shopoff is also involved in various nonprofit foundations, including his former roles as President of the Board of Directors for the Central Coast Wine Classic Foundation, and as a board member of Global Energy Network International (GENI), a non-profit organization based in San Diego, California. Furthermore, Mr. Shopoff has also been the top fundraiser for the past 20 years for the AIDS LifeCycle, a 585-mile bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, which supports the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Mr. Shopoff is a frequent speaker on various real estate and investment related topics. He has been invited to participate as a key panelist and a guest speaker on professional panels at real estate conferences and industry events throughout the United States. He holds many awards and accreditations including nomination for the Orange County Business Journal’s 2023 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award.

Rosie Cooper

Rosie has over 15 years’ industry experience and is responsible for acquisition, development, construction, operations and disposition activities in Southern California and Phoenix. She is a registered professional engineer, licensed real estate broker, and serves on JPI’s Investment Committee. Rosie received both her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, and her Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Management and Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.

Aram Chahbazian

Aram C. Chahbazian, AIA, LEED AP is a partner at TCA Architects with 35 years of design

and management experience. As President of TCA, he guides the firm’s growth strategy,

operational structure and strategic human resource functions. As a design Principal, he

possesses a wealth of experience in multifamily design with a focus on high density, urban

infill housing and mixed-use properties. Much of this work is located in greater Los Angeles,

as well as in the Northern California Bay Area. These projects are mixed-use residential and

retail blocks in the 150 to 230 du/ac density range with a range of 5,000 to 125,000 square

feet of street level retail space.

He graduated from California State Polytechnic University Pomona, where he received his

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. He’s actively involved in professional organizations

focused on continuing education and is a full-member of the Urban Land Institute’s Orange

County District Council where he served as Vice Chair of Programs for 6 years. He is also a

founding Member of the ULI-OC Housing Initiative Council and currently Vice Chair of

Outreach for the Multi Housing Initiative council. Additionally, Mr. Chahbazian is a member

of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architecture

Registration Boards (NCARB).

Aram, along with the entire TCA organization, is an active supporter and contributor to the

Orange County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. He currently serves on Habitat’s Board of

Directors as well as TCA’s Annual Golf Tournament Committee, an event that has raised over

$1,000,000 benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Orange County.
