Chris Tipre is based in San Diego, serves as Principal for Trammell Crow Company (TCC), and leads the national developer’s local expansion into San Diego. He re-established the firm’s office in the market and is responsible for overseeing the business, which currently includes three life science facilities, and three multifamily projects, which are under construction or in predevelopment. While building the team in San Diego, Chris also manages capital relationships, and works alongside brokers, architects, contractors, and consultants in the sourcing, shaping, and execution of new development projects.

Chris leads the company’s local land and deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, entitlements, debt and equity capital relationships, development coordination, and project leasing for life science, office, multifamily, mixed-use and industrial developments. His efforts have created a San Diego pipeline encompassing more than 1.3 million square feet of off-market development opportunities equating to over $1.1 billion in expected total project costs.

Robert F. Kane joined Lincoln Property Company in 2012,

and is responsible for Acquisition, Dispositions,

Development and Finance related activities for the

Company. Since joining Lincoln, Robert has been involved

in the acquisition of over $1 billion square feet of commercial

development projects and successfully entitled more than

one million square feet of commercial projects including the

Parsons campus, the largest commercial project ever

approved by the City of Pasadena.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Robert was a Vice President at

Thomas Properties Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TPGI), where he

focused on acquisitions and development of office,

residential, and mixed-use properties throughout the country,

including the entitlements effort for the Wilshire Grand

Redevelopment project proposed by Korean Air Lines

totaling $1.4 billion and 2.5 million square feet of mixed-uses

which was unanimously approved by the City of Los

Angeles.

James “Watty” Watson has spent a 35-year career in the commercial real estate investment, development and management business. He currently serves as President and CEO of CT Realty Investors in Orange County, California.

CT Realty Investors has enjoyed a twenty year history of successful and profitable real estate investment, development, and management activities and has acquired and sold over $2.5 Billion in real estate. Since 1994, CT has invested in industrial, office and multi-family properties, as well as distressed commercial debt. CT’s investment platform has cultivated and fostered a community of sophisticated and diverse private and institutional investors.

Previously, Watty served as President of the Koll Development Company where he was responsible for real estate investment and development in the Western United States and Mexico. Koll developed or acquired more than 75 million square feet of institutional quality commercial real estate including office, industrial, and retail properties during its history.

Prior to Koll, James was President of SDC Investments, successor to the Santa Anita Development Company. SDC developed several million square feet of commercial real estate throughout the southwest United States prior to Watty merging SDC operations into the Koll Company in 1990.

As a graduate of the University of Southern California, he earned a bachelor's degree in Public Administration. James was President of the Orange County Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and served on its National Board of Directors. He is also a member in the ULI and was appointed by Governor Wilson as State Racing Commissioner on the California Horse Racing Board and served for four years.

Watty is Co-Chairman of the Advisory Board of the UC Irvine Center for Real Estate at the Paul Merage School of Business. He resides in Newport Beach with his wife and three children.

Throughout his real estate career, Patrick Daniels has been successfully involved in real estate projects valued at more than $2 billion spanning all property types including: industrial, multi-family, single-family, commercial, office, mixed-use, self-storage and resort properties. Mr. Daniels has developed an extensive range of contacts covering all areas of expertise throughout the United States, which exposes him to many investment and development opportunities.

Since its first investment in 2010, Patrick has directed CapRock’s efforts to acquire, renovate,/ entitle, and develop a portfolio (at build out of its existing development pipeline) valued at approximately $1 billion. This has been accomplished through three co-investment funds, CapRock Partners Fund I, Fund II and CapRock Land & Development Fund I, which are currently on track to deliver to their investors above market risk-adjusted IRR’s. Prior to co-founding CapRock Partners, he co-founded MSJ Partners, LLC in 2002, and continues to guide the strategic planning of the Company’s one remaining commercial asset.

Beginning in 1995, prior to founding MSJ Partners, Patrick Daniels was with Hillwood West, a division of Hillwood Development Corporation (a Perot Company), where he assumed responsibility of the management of all commercial investments in California and Hawaii. Prior to joining Hillwood, Mr. Daniels was Vice President in charge of National Project Development for both ARV Assisted Living and Messenger Investment Company Mr. Daniels began his career as a Project Manager with the Trammell Crow Company in Texas.

Some of his most noteworthy projects include 301 Congress Avenue, a 22 story high rise office building in Austin, Texas; the 9 story office building “Arboretum Point,” the former headquarters for Dell Computers; $100,000,000 acquisition of land and buildings throughout California from Chevron Land and Development; the 220 acre Parkway Business Centre in Poway, California; the world-renown “Shops at Wailea” shopping center in Maui, Hawaii; and the 480 acre Visalia Industrial Park in Visalia, California. Mr. Daniels extensive career has afforded him the opportunity to work with many successful organizations including Dell Computer, Baker Hughes, Wal-Mart, Target, Albertsons, Kohl’s, Hewlett Packard, Chevron, and 3M Corporation.

Mr. Daniels received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. While attending, he earned an academic scholarship and was named to the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. Patrick also lettered in baseball and was a member of the 1983 National Championship baseball team. Mr. Daniels resides with his family in Newport Coast, California and is an active volunteer and has served on numerous boards and committees throughout his career, including current involvement with Mariners Church (Irvine) and the Engineering Advisory Board at the University of Texas at Austin.

Russ Parker has been a managing partner of Parker Properties since 1994. Parker Properties is a “best in class” asset services and development company specializing in office campus projects and commercial real estate services projects in Southern California.

For the last 22 years, Parker Properties has developed and managed over 2,700,000 sf in 14 significant office projects. Our developments include the 150,000 sf build to suit for Advanced Bionics in Santa Clarita, the 167,000 sf QLogic Campus and the nine story Pacific Life Insurance building in Aliso Viejo. Parker Properties is currently under construction on the final phase of Summit, a 205,000 sf build to suit for medical device maker MicroVention/Terumo Corporation.

John Buchanan

John Buchanan serves as the Director of Economic Development for the City of Tustin. Over the course of his 15-year tenure, he has been responsible for the planning and development of City- owned properties at Tustin Legacy. Tustin Legacy is a 1,600-acre master-planned community that is being developed on land formerly known as Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Tustin. To date the City has committed 750 total acres to development including completed projects and in progress planning for single family housing neighborhoods, multifamily and affordable housing, lifestyle centers, non-profit and education facilities as well as state-of- the-art commercial office development. In addition to his work on Tustin Legacy, Buchanan’s responsibilities include negotiating and structuring transactions and advising on financing issues. Prior to joining Tustin, Buchanan was with P2 Economics, a real estate economic and financial consulting firm. He has also served in economic development, redevelopment, and planning capacities with the cities of Anaheim and Pasadena, and as the Director of Economic Development for the State of Nevada. While in Nevada he served on the board of Regents for the University of Nevada System. He is a member of ULI where he serves on the Public/Private Partnership Council. Buchanan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and an M.B.A. from Claremont Graduate University.

Chris Marsh

Chris Marsh is President of Irvine Company Apartment Development division. Mr. Marsh is responsible for leading the company’s apartment development growth plan, including land acquisitions, due diligence, entitlements, product development, design, construction and delivery.

Since joining the company in 2003, Mr. Marsh over time has been responsible for overseeing all aspects of development for commercial and residential projects for the company, including office, resort, retail and apartment properties. His achievements include the Resort at Pelican Hill, where he acted as Project Executive in delivering the world-class resort.

Mr. Marsh has practiced in the field of commercial and multifamily real estate development for 25 years and has represented developers in the United States, United Kingdom and Spain. In a consultancy capacity, he also acted as third party adviser to several blue chip and institutional investors, including Société Générale, Scottish Widows and Pearl Assurance.

He received a bachelor’s degree with first-class honors in quantity surveying from the University of Central England, Birmingham, UK, and earned a master’s degree in construction management from the University of Reading, UK.

With a multi-faceted real estate career spanning more than 30 years, Richard Douglass oversees all operations of Trumark Homes’ Southern California Division. He has led organizations that have constructed more than 10,000 homes – from entry level to multi-million dollar products including high-rise development – with revenues well in excess of $3 billion. Prior to joining Trumark Homes, Mr. Douglass most recently headed Ryland Homes’ operations in Southern California and previously was Southern California Division President for Centex Homes.

Mr. Douglass is an integral member of the Building Industry Association of Southern California, where he recently held a position on the Governance Committee and also served as the President for the Orange County Chapter in 2004. For his commitment to the community beyond the building industry, he received the “Spirit of Life” Award from The City of Hope and the “Good Scout” Award from the Boy Scouts of America.

A native of San Clemente, Mr. Douglass received his Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach. Richard also attended Orange Coast College, where he graduated from the school’s Construction Technology and Applied Mathematics program.

He has conducted exposure monitoring during manufacturing processes, Phase 1 environmental site assessments (ESAs) for commercial property transactions and indoor air quality (IAQ) evaluations including mold and moisture assessments. Mr. Rosas’ project management skills include development of cost estimates for the removal of hazardous materials, coordination of remediation, renovation and demolition activities, and weekly budget: Field work, report writing, sample collection, and analysis and scheduling.

Mr. Rosas provided third-party consulting services and oversight of one of the largest ($110 million) asbestos abatement and renovation projects in Houston, Texas. While working for a financial industry client he was responsible for reviewing and auditing on-site consultant and abatement contractors work practices, documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements. Mr. Rosas managed excavation and trenching activities for one of the largest aerospace companies in the world. Services include sampling for ACM in confined spaces, sampling for lead and other metals in soils, establishing remediation budgets, attending weekly progress meetings, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the entire project.

Medtox Associates, Inc. 1986 – 1991:

Mr. Rosas managed remediation, demolition and closure of an industrial soap manufacturing facility in Southgate, California. Services included cost budgeting, technical specifications, contract development, asbestos sampling plan and assessment, air monitoring, sampling plan, supervision of air sampling personnel, and coordination of activities with demolition. As a result of these services, the client was able to sell the property. Mr. Rosas managed a $2,000,000 abatement and demolition project for an automobile manufacturer in the Los Angeles area. His services included lead-based paint sampling, asbestos assessments, air monitoring, and project oversight of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) prior to demolition of a 1.2 million square foot facility. Project activities enabled the client to complete demolition and facility closure and sell the property for redevelopment.

During his 30-year career in commercial real estate, Mr. Cottrell has developed over five million square feet of new buildings. Jeni possesses 15 years multi-discipline experience ranging from ground up development for retail centers to design and development for residential as well as general contracting for multiple typologies.

Recent Orange County projects include 96,000sf on Red Hill Ave. in Tustin branded “33.7”; 46,000sf for Too Faced Cosmetics at Bixby’s “gen2” property in Irvine; and improvements at Bixby’s 4-story 70,000sf “Cerro” in Mission Viejo.
