Gilad Ganish is a partner at Blackwood, a real estate investment company created to improve communities and create value. Gilad has been responsible for the successful acquisition, planning, and development of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects throughout Southern California. Gilad received his undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of California, Irvine, a Master of Business Administration from the Marshall School at the University of Southern California, and has completed coursework at Harvard Business School. Gilad was appointed by the Orange County Board of Supervisors to the Coto de Caza Planning Advisory Committee, is a member of the BIA, and is a licensed General Contractor.

Michael Wilborn is responsible for managing the development/acquisition process, and sourcing new investments in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. His efforts include originating and negotiating land purchases, managing development and construction, and acquiring value-add opportunistic investments. Mr. Wilborn has more than eight years of multifamily development, investment and construction experience at Alliance, and he has been involved in developing and acquiring 2,000+ multifamily units in Southern California. Most recently, Mr. Wilborn completed a 200-unit, urban-infill, mid-rise podium project in Glendale, CA, called Broadstone Icis. Additionally, he successfully executed the 90-unit value-add acquisition and disposition of Vista Catalina (formally The Madison) in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Mr. Wilborn earned his degree at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business with a concentration in Real Estate Development.

In January of this year Kristine became the third City Manager for the City of Laguna Niguel since its incorporation in 1989. Kristine has a 29-year distinguished public service career. With the last 24 years holding multiple executive level positions in the largest city in Orange County, where she demonstrated success in managing complex programs, extensive understanding of fiscal management, ability to manage large projects, and commitment to transparent government and continuous improvement. In her most recent role prior to joining Laguna Niguel she was responsible for coordination of many municipal initiatives and serving as a liaison for all major developments while overseeing strategic planning. Kristine began her career as financial auditor. She possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and Masters in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University.

Colby Durnin

Colby Durnin is the founder and CEO of Sentinel Real Estate Group. Founded in 2001 while working with Oaktree Capital Management, Mr. Durnin and Sentinel have been involved in the development and redevelopment of more than 100 projects, including all asset classes and spanned 15 states and 5 countries. Prior to starting Sentinel, Mr. Durnin was the Director of Special Projects for Urban Partners, worked at Keller CMS and was a founding partner of Vortex Construction and Vortex Development. He started his career working for Pacific Energy Management Company as an Owner’s Representative in Baja California.

Mr. Durnin holds a BA from the University of San Diego and an MBA from the University of Hawaii; he is a licensed California, Nevada, and Texas Real Estate Broker. Mr. Durnin is a member of YPO and on the executive committee of their real estate network, a council member of the Urban Land Institute, ICSC, Team 100 Foundation, and is a Past President of the Avalon Tuna Club.

William R. Devine is a partner in our Orange County office whose practice focuses on the land use, environmental and natural resources aspects of land development. He assists residential and commercial developers, land owners, energy and water providers, hospitals, universities, and other public and commercial interests in a wide range of acquisition, entitlement and permitting issues. Bill regularly represents clients before local, state and federal administrative bodies, as well as in preparing for litigation.

Bill's wide-ranging experience includes land acquisition due diligence, CEQA/NEPA compliance, endangered species, wetlands, climate change issues, coastal law, planning and zoning, water quality, water supply and rights, vested development rights, annexation, initiatives and referendums, subdivision mapping, redevelopment, affordable housing, renewable energy, and Native American law.

Bill is a frequent speaker on topics related to CEQA, habitat conservation planning under the Endangered Species Act, water supply and rights, climate change and land use, renewable energy facility permitting, sustainable development, and wetlands mitigation permitting.

Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Bill was a partner at a prominent, full-service law firm. His past experience also includes a position at the Solicitor's Office of the U.S. Department of Interior in Portland, Oregon, and Sacramento, California, where he represented the Department and its agencies on a broad range of matters involving water rights, environmental cleanup, energy facility siting, endangered species, wetlands, NEPA compliance, and Native American affairs.

Russ Parker has been a managing partner of Parker Properties since 1994. Parker Properties is a “best in class” asset services and development company specializing in office campus projects and commercial real estate services projects in Southern California.

For the last 22 years, Parker Properties has developed and managed over 2,700,000 sf in 14 significant office projects. Our developments include the 150,000 sf build to suit for Advanced Bionics in Santa Clarita, the 167,000 sf QLogic Campus and the nine story Pacific Life Insurance building in Aliso Viejo. Parker Properties is currently under construction on the final phase of Summit, a 205,000 sf build to suit for medical device maker MicroVention/Terumo Corporation.

Ella Shaw Neyland serves as President and affiliated director of Steadfast Apartment REIT III. She also serves as President and an affiliated director of Steadfast Apartment REIT and Steadfast Income REIT, positions she has held since October 2012. From October 2011 to September 2012, Ms. Neyland served as an independent director and Audit Committee Chair of Steadfast Income REIT. Ms. Neyland has considerable experience in real estate investment, development and finance. Most recently, while with Montecito Medical Investment Company, she advised the company in the acquisition of 43 medical properties with over two million square feet in 13 states, as well as the acquisition of 8,300 apartments in 29 communities. From 2001 to 2004, Ms. Neyland served as Executive VP, Treasurer and Investor Relations Officer of United Dominion Realty Trust (“UDR”), where she was responsible for capital market transactions, banking relationships, and presentations to investors and Wall Street analysts. Ms. Neyland also was a voting member of UDR’s Investment Committee, which oversaw the repositioning of over $3 billion of investments. Prior to 2001, Ms. Neyland served as the CFO at Sunrise Housing, a privately-owned multifamily development company, and as the Senior VP of Finance and the VP of Troubled Debt Restructures/Finance for the Lincoln Property Company, a multifamily development and property management firm. In addition to her extensive real estate background, Ms. Neyland has held executive positions in the banking industry, including CIBC, BancOne and Frost Bank. Ms. Neyland is currently a Board member for the Investment Program Association (IPA) and she is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Ms. Neyland received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

units. Bascom has ranked among the top 50 multifamily owners in the U.S. Bascom’s

subsidiaries and joint ventures include the Southern California Industrial Fund,

Rushmore Properties, Bascom Portfolio Advisors, Shubin Nadal Associates, Spirit Bascom

Ventures, REDA Bascom Ventures, MHF RM Holdings, Bascom Northwest Ventures,

Bascom Arizona Ventures, Harbor Associates, Village Partner Ventures, and the Realm

Group. Bascom’s subsidiaries also include Premier Business Centers, the largest

Prior to founding Bascom, Mr. Fink acted as Senior Acquisitions and Sales Manager from

1991 to 1995 for Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company. His responsibilities included

market assessment, property identification and negotiation, and the acquisition and

disposition of real estate investments.

Mr. Fink holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a

Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from the University of

Wisconsin-Madison. He is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Managements (IREM)

and Turnaround Management Association (TMA). Mr. Fink is a licensed real estate

broker in the state of California, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a

Certified Property Manager (CPM), a Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA),

and a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP). He has appeared as a guest speaker at

various functions, including those for the Urban Land Institute, University of California

Los Angeles and Irvine, University of Southern California, and other assorted industry

events. Mr. Fink previously served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Real

Estate Alumni Association and is currently a member of the USC Lusk Center for Real

Estate Executive Committee.  He has previously served on the board for the Young

Presidents Organization (YPO) California Coast chapter and is currently a member of the

World Presidents Organization (WPO).

In 2004, Mr. Fink was awarded the Apartment Executive of the Year by the Real Estate

Conference Group, the industry's largest and most prestigious multifamily conference

on the West Coast, and was later awarded the Rising Star award by the University of

California Irvine Center for Real Estate in 2008. Mr. Fink was also recognized in the 2011

Multi-Family Executive Magazine. In 2016, Mr. Fink was awarded the Ernst & Young

Entrepreneur of the Year, Orange County.

Donna Bradley

Donna Bradley, MAI, joined Newmark Knight Frank’s Valuation & Advisory as a

practice leader in 2018, and is an appraiser of the Los Angeles office, which

covers Southern California. Donna Bradley, MAI, has been actively engaged in the valuation and consulting services segment of the commercial real estate industry since 1986, receiving

her MAI designation in 1992. As a production appraiser with over 30 years of

experience, Ms. Bradley specializes in institutional investment grade properties

in Southern California. Her appraisal practice concentrates on hospitality, which

includes resorts, full service hotels, boutique hotels, limited service motels as

well as general commercial property such as apartment, retail and office

properties and other income-producing property types. She is currently a part of

the Hospitality, Gaming & Leisure Group at Newmark Knight Frank.

Ms. Bradley joined Newmark Knight Frank after serving as a Vice President for

over 25 years with CBRE, Inc.

Jason Krupoff

Jason has over 16 years of experience in commercial and multifamily mortgage banking. During his career, Jason has originated and closed more than 100 transactions totaling over $1.1 billion in debt and JV equity capital.

Prior to joining Bellwether Enterprise, Jason served as Vice President of Originations for Walker & Dunlop and Berkadia (formerly Capmark Finance and GMAC Commercial Mortgage) where he sourced and closed multifamily and commercial real estate loans with Agency, Life Company, bridge, and CMBS debt.

Additional experiences include spending two years (2009-2011) at Hunt Investment Management (formerly Capmark Investments, which was Capmark’s equity investment company) where he asset managed a 17-property multifamily portfolio totaling over 3,500 apartment units located in Southern California. Additionally, Jason spent one year as Saris-Regis group where he worked on the multifamily investment team.

in current servicing portfolio and $34 billion of debt and investment sales in 2018 we are a nationally

straightforward capital structures for all varieties of commercial real estate assets.

Before Berkadia, Jackson spent 9 years at Fidelity Bancorp Funding & EverBank as an apartment and

commercial loan consultant. There he financed purchases and refinances of apartment, retail, industrial

and office properties in addition to disposition of performing and non-performing debt.

Before focusing on commercial real estate Jackson traded corporate stock options in Palo Alto and

Orange County/Newport Beach for high profile publicly traded companies. In 1999 he graduated from

SDSU with a degree in Finance is a SDSU men’s basketball season ticket holder.

After growing up in Laguna Beach then living in the Bay Area mixed with regular family visits to the east

coast Jackson has a great appreciation for our beaches, weather, outdoors and good sushi.
