Kevin throughout his career has cultivated, established and led relationships with clients, as well as participated actively in advisory, leadership and transactional activities.

Brookfield’s Global Corporate Development group works to accelerate growth across our portfolio of assets under management in markets around the globe through various means including direct transactions, M&A, JV’s and strategic alliances.

In 2013 and 2014, Kevin served as Executive Chairman of Brookfield Global Relocation Services, working to help relocate over 80,000 clients’ employees a year. He had overall responsibility for growth of the company, serving as primary lead with the company’s board and leveraging the firm’s extensive relationships.

Kevin joined Brookfield in January, 2013 after nearly 30 years at CBRE, the global leader in the commercial real estate services industry. At CBRE, he was an Executive Vice President of CBRE, Inc. and Leader in the Americas of Transaction Management in the Occupier Services / Brokerage line of service. Prior to this position, he was head of the company’s Global Corporate Service (GCS) line of service in the New York Tri-State and Northeast regions. He joined CBRE in 1984 as an office leasing specialist and was consistently recognized throughout the company and in New York City as a top leader and producer, and was a four time award winner of CBRE’s “Gary Beban Teamwork Award”

Michael Spies

Mr. Spies joined Tishman Speyer in 1989, and led the establishment and growth of Tishman Speyer's European business, before recently returning to New York. He leads new global innovation initiatives while supervising the Indian operations and early stage efforts in new markets. He chairs the Investment Committee and serves on the firm's Management and Compensation Committees. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, he was Executive Vice President of the Public Development Corporation, which was the City of New York's lead economic development agency. Mr. Spies is a Global Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and currently Chairs the Jury for awarding ULI's highest honor, the Nichols Prize for Visionaries in Urban Development. He serves on the Board of Directors for TechnoServe, a global non-profit organization reducing poverty in the developing world through supporting economic development and entrepreneurship. He is also member of the Dean's Council at the Harvard Kennedy School, and is past Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the American School in London, as well as past Chair of the ULI European Charitable Trust. Mr. Spies graduated cum laude from Princeton University and from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government with an MA in city and regional planning.

Prior to Dealpath, Gary ran product management at Kanjoya (acq. by Ultimate Software) and built out the post-sales division for HP Enterprise (NYSE:HPE) in Singapore/Southeast Asia. Gary graduated from Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, is a member of ULI’s Technology & Innovations Council, and an active member of ICSC and NAIOP.

Prior to starting FC Modular within Forest City Ratner Companies, Roger spent 12 years at Forest City Ratner Companies as SVP of Mixed Use and Residential Development, entitling and planning over 1,000 residential apartment units integrated into many of FCRC’s Retail projects.

In 2008 Roger spearheaded the first R&D project for Modular Construction which lead to The Creation of FC Modular and subsequently the creation of a factory and business to build the tallest volumetric modular building in the world.

Prior to working at Forest City Roger was an owner and operator of Fiber Media, a high tech Developer/Contractor in the High Tech Sector based in the Mid¬West. Roger’s experience makes him uniquely qualified to lead a groundbreaking industry change like the movement to off-site built construction for large scale urban multifamily construction. As a Recipient of the Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Award 2014 for his work on the creation of a high-rise modular process he has been publically recognized as a leader in innovation. Roger received his degree in management and organizational psychology from Babson College.

Robert K. Otani, PE LEED AP is Chief Technology Officer at Thornton-Tomasetti, Inc., a 1500+ person multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm, and founded the CORE studio, an applications development, advanced computational modeling, and R&D group at his firm. Robert serves as the Advisory Committee for Thornton Tomasetti’s firm-wide Research and Development program and Liaison with TTWiiN Inc., an independent entity created by Thornton Tomasetti focused on driving innovation to commercialization of products. He has extensive structural design and project management experience involving commercial, infrastructure, institutional, cultural and residential structures. Over his 25-year career, he has worked on a wide variety of complex projects, including

high-rise buildings, long-span roof structures, sports arenas, airport terminals, major building structural renovations and retrofits, complex art projects totaling over $2 billion USD of construction. His professional and academic interests focus on informed architecture relating to optimized structural typologies, high performance structures, and structural sustainability. He has served as President of the Structural Engineers Association of New York in 2007 and has been a professor at Pratt Institute School of Architecture and Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.

His focus is on enterprise and in-building coverage, furthering the role of wireless in buildings as a 5th utility-like service. In his role, Lucas is involved with smart building and smart city technologies, 5G wireless and the relationship between enterprises installing infrastructure and the connection to T-Mobile signal source and backhaul. He has been with T-Mobile for more than two decades, previously in several regional and market development manager roles. Prior to joining T-Mobile, Lucas was a real estate manager for Pacific Bell Mobile Services’ wireless network in San Diego. Lucas is a graduate of Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California and the practitioners Master of Real Estate Development from USC’s Lusk Center for Real Estate.

Alex Moulle-Berteaux is the Chief Operating Officer for Starry, Inc., a Boston-

and New York-based technology company focused on re-imagining and revolutionizing how consumers connect to the internet by developing an eco-system of products designed to make broadband access simple and affordable. At Starry, Alex is responsible for overseeing the business performance and operations, network deployment and maintenance, product deployment, customer care, sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Starry, Alex served as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for Aereo, Inc., the groundbreaking online television platform. As Chief Commercial Officer, Alex oversaw the company’s marketing initiatives, customer care, distribution partnerships and product management, and played a critical role in helping develop Aereo’s overall

business and its nationwide expansion efforts.

Before joining Aereo, Alex served as Global Head of Marketing and Public

Relations for Rockstar Games, the leading development and publishing label of

publicly-traded Take Two Interactive, maker of blockbuster video game franchises

Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne, Midnight Club and the

investigation game LA Noire. At Rockstar Games, he led the game launch efforts for

the company, including the record breaking 2008 launch of Grand Theft Auto IV,

heralded as the biggest entertainment launch in history.

Prior to Rockstar Games, Alex served on the management team of Media Arts

Lab/ Chiat Day, Apple’s marketing agency out of Los Angeles and London. While

there, he led the day-to-day management of the global marketing campaigns for the

Apple account across products including the Mac, iPod and iTunes, Apple TV, and the launch of the iPhone. Prior to joining Media Arts Lab, Alex worked in various New York-

based advertising agencies on a wide variety of global brands.

Alex was born and raised in Paris, France before he moved to the United States

in junior high school. He is a graduate of Boston College and resides in Brooklyn, New

York with his wife and three children.
