Dana Robbins Schneider is Senior Vice President, Director of Energy and Sustainability for Empire State

Realty Trust. Dana is responsible to define, lead and execute a comprehensive program for all company

and property level energy and sustainability initiatives and industry leading best practices and to

coordinate and develop the company's ESG and wellness programs and reporting. Dana focuses on

analyzing and implementing actionable measures which drive energy efficiency and performance at the

whole building, systems and tenant level including proactive planning for LL97 and 80X50. We focus on

measurable actionable impacts in energy, water, waste and indoor environmental quality to drive ROI

and healthy buildings.

Prior to joining ESRT, Dana led JLL’s Energy and Sustainability Projects team for the Americas, working

on over 250 million square feet of impact projects over 18 years. Before this, Dana was a mechanical

engineer at WSP.

Dana graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia in 1999 and serves on the Real Estate

Roundtable Sustainable Policy Advisory Committee, Urban Green Board of Directors, REBNY

Sustainability Committee, USGBC LEED Steering Committee and is a LEED Fellow.  Dana serves on the

LL97 Technical Pathways for Commercial Buildings Working Group.

The Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice is responsible for developing policies and programs to enhance the near-term and long-term sustainability of the City of New York.

Samuel Man, Senior Policy Advisor, NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice

Samuel’s work at the Mayor’s Office focuses on making it easier for more New Yorkers to live, work and learn in buildings that use less carbon.

The first part of that work is delivered through The NYC Accelerator - a free technical assistance program to help building stakeholders not just comply with NYC energy laws, but design and construct high performance spaces that are healthier, more comfortable, and more resilient.

The second part of this work is in leading the NYC Carbon Challenge - a public private partnership and voluntary leadership program to push institutions to go further faster in reducing heat-trapping pollution citywide.

Samuel is a native New Yorker, a United States Marine Corps veteran, and holds degrees from the State University of New York at Albany and the City College of New York.

Raphael Rosen is CEO & Co-founder of Carbon Lighthouse, where he is responsible for the company’s long-term vision and execution. Raphael has led Carbon Lighthouse’s scale and growth over the past decade to deliver true environmental and operational impact and more than $250 million in savings for clients including Goldman Sachs, Hawaiian Airlines, L&B, The Carlyle Group, The Moinian Group, Madison International Realty, and AEW. Previously, Raphael served as VP of Corporate Development at Safari Energy where he grew Safari’s operational capacity to more than 25 solar projects worth $24 million.

Mr. Cayten is a Partner and Senior Director of Strategic Growth at CodeGreen Solutions, a leading sustainability and energy efficiency consulting firm based in New York City supporting over 150 million square feet of property in NYC and 150M across the country. Mr. Cayten has more than 20 years of experience in sustainability consulting, architecture and development in commercial real estate. Mr. Cayten works with private and public sector leaders to improve the sustainability of the built environment while delivering positive value to building owners, occupiers and investors. Mr. Cayten has worked closely with policymakers and the real estate community since 2009 developing and navigating the City’s energy and carbon efficiency programs for existing buildings. In 2018 and 2019 Mr Cayten was deeply involved in the technical discussions leading up to the passing of LL97. Mr. Cayten holds a master’s degree from the Yale School of Architecture and has spoken domestically and internationally about sustainable real estate and energy efficiency policy. He serves on the sustainability committees of BOMA-NY and REBNY, is an active member of USGBC, Urban Green Council, a member of the Building Energy Exchange Industry Leadership Council and sits on the Advisory Council to the New York City Climate Museum.

Stephanie Margolis is the Executive Director for the NYC Climate Action Alliance, a non-profit whose mission is to accelerate New York City’s equitable transition to a zero-carbon future through private sector engagement. She helps stakeholders understand the competitive advantage of investments in sustainability, analyzes major trends to understand core challenges and structure actions to advance sustainability, and translates complex ideas into clear narratives to generate excitement and broad support for sustainability projects. In her role at the Alliance, she works closely with commercial tenants and building owners to achieve deep energy retrofits and determine the most effective suite of resources that will enable stakeholders to meet zero carbon goals. Prior to joining the Alliance, Stephanie worked with cities throughout the US to craft sustainable urban redevelopment strategies and supported EPA’s ENERGY STAR program.

Matt McCambridge is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Eden Health, a modern primary care and insurance navigation company designed to elevate the health and wellbeing of employees everywhere.

Prior to Eden Health, he was a technology and software investor at Insight Venture Partners, a global venture capital and private equity firm with over $20 billion of assets under management. He also worked as an analyst for the healthcare focused private equity firm, Shore Capital Partners. Since 2014, Matt currently has served as a board member for the nonprofit, Areté Education, where he leads efforts to build a boarding school for high school students in the South Bronx.

Matt earned his bachelor's degree from Harvard University and taught leadership under Ron Heifetz at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He is based in New York City.

Lisa Bevacqua joined CBRE in 2024 and is Executive Managing Director, Investor Portfolio Management. In her role, Lisa is responsible for the strategic partnership and account, Brookfield Properties Operated by CBRE, leading a team of over 1,100 real estate professionals across Brookfield’s 70 million square foot North America office portfolio.

Prior to joining CBRE, Lisa Bevacqua was the Executive Vice President and Head of Asset Management at Silverstein Properties (SP), where she oversaw a $10 billion portfolio of office, multifamily, and life science properties. At SP, Lisa was responsible for overseeing execution of the investment strategy for all properties in the portfolio and managing investor relationships. She served on the company’s investment committee, management team, and diversity and inclusion committee.

Prior to joining Silverstein Properties, Lisa worked in acquisitions and asset management at Citi Property Investors (CPI), a real estate opportunity fund with over $600 million of assets under management. At CPI, Lisa was responsible for underwriting and conducting due diligence on $1.8 billion of real estate transactions. In addition, Lisa oversaw a portfolio of office, condo and land assets. Prior to CPI, Lisa was a leasing broker at CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners, with a focus on the downtown Boston office market.

Lisa began her career as a consultant at Accenture, where she worked on assignments aimed at identifying and implementing process and operational improvements at financial services companies.

Lisa earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated magna cum laude with a BA from Boston College. Lisa, her husband, and their four children, live in Westport, CT.

Shalini combines her interest in building and environmental design and building physics as Director in Technical Solutions at IWBI. As a subject matter expert, she focuses on providing clear and comprehensive information to help clients meet the WELL Building Standard requirements. She also provides technical support as project teams work towards the WELL certification process. Prior to IWBI, Shalini conducted research for the development of a building energy management tool including analyzing industry trends and refining key performance indicators. She also developed an integration sample for conducting parametric building energy/cost analysis. Shalini earned her PhD in Building Performance and Diagnostics from the School of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University. Her dissertation explores the impact of the urban microclimate on building energy consumption. Shalini has presented her work at various conferences. Her research has been published as a book chapter in Building Information Modeling, Karen.M.Kensek & Douglas E. Noble. Her PhD research builds on her Master’s in Landscape Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and Bachelor of Architecture from Visvevaraya Technological University in India.

Craig joined Marx Realty as its President and CEO in 2017 and has been responsible for growing

the company as well as streamlining the company’s strategy by focusing on value-add office

investments in three core markets: New York City, Washington D.C. and Atlanta. Craig is also

charged with repositioning Marx’s entire portfolio as well as growing the Marx team and profitability.

Over his 25-year career, Craig has vast experience in every aspect of the real estate industry and

believes in a very hands-on approach. Prior to Marx, he held senior roles at both private equity and

private development companies, including redeveloping over 50 assets in major markets across the

country with a particular emphasis on NY and DC. Craig’s projects have received various awards

from industry groups such as NAIOP, BOMA, Globe St., Crain’s, Washington Business Journal and

AIA. He has been interviewed as a thought and innovation leader in several features in the Wall

Street Journal, CNN, Bloomberg and on CNBC, and was selected as one of the Real Estate Forum’s

Best Bosses of 2019. Craig was named to the 2020 Commercial Observer’s Power 100 List. Craig

previously practiced law in the real estate and litigation departments at Skadden before transitioning

to the business side of the industry.

Craig graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business (where he

currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Advisory Board) and earned a J.D. at Fordham

University’s School of Law. Craig serves on the Mixed-Use Council of the Urban Land Institute and

on the Strategic Advisory Council of Shadow Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in

PropTech investments.

Prior to co-founding Greenworks Lending in 2015, Jessica led the design, management, and implementation of the nation’s first successful C-PACE program at the CT Green Bank. In its first two years, the program financed $75 million in clean energy projects and executed the first securitization of commercial efficiency assets – more than doubling the volume of C-PACE transactions between 2013 and 2014. From 2004-2012, Bailey worked at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF), an $800 million foundation based in New York. As the Fund’s program officer for sustainable development, she co-managed a $7 million portfolio of grants focused on mitigating climate change and promoting clean energy.

Jessica has received numerous awards and positive recognition for her work. Most recently, she was selected for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneurial Winning Women of 2019 program. In 2014, Bailey was named a “Champion of Change” by the White House for solar deployment. For her work designing the successful Connecticut C-PACE program, The Hartford Business Journal dubbed her a “Green Warrior;” and after co-founding Greenworks Lending and scaling C-PACE nationally, Jessica was named to Connecticut Magazine’s 2018 list of “40 under 40.”

Jessica received her graduate degree from Yale University and undergraduate from the University of Notre Dame. She is a member of YPO and sits on the board of PACENation, the League of Conservation Voters, CT and CTNext.

Erangi is a Director of Business Development for NYCEEC. Erangi sources and executes financing transactions for new projects that save energy or reduce greenhouse gases, working with customers to understand their financing needs, and provide custom solutions.

Prior to joining NYCEEC, Erangi was a Vice President at Citigroup, where she held roles in Corporate and Investment Banking, and Credit Risk Management. While at Citigroup, she spent five years focusing on Project Finance, primarily in the Renewable Energy sector. Erangi has worked on numerous structured financings for Wind, Solar and Geothermal projects in North America.

Erangi holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania

Greg Smithies is a Partner at Fifth Wall, where he co-leads the Climate Technology Investment team.

Prior to joining Fifth Wall, Greg was a Partner at BMW i Ventures where he led the Sustainability investing practice, investing in companies such as Prometheus Fuels, and PureCycle (NASDAQ: ROCH). Before joining BMW i Ventures, Greg led Finance & Operations for both The Boring Company and Neuralink simultaneously.

Greg started his investment career at Battery Ventures where he covered early-stage enterprise technology startups, as well as industrial technology buyouts. Successful exits from his work there include Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), AppDynamics (acquired by Cisco Systems, Inc.), and IST (acquired by Scott Brand).

Greg was born in Pretoria, South Africa, and currently lives in Oakland, CA. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School where he received a BS in Economics and a BS in Computer Science.

Doug Lawrence is Managing Principal and co-founder of 5 Stone Green Capital LLC, a 100% green real estate fund. He has 30 years of distinguished real estate industry experience, and is an industry leader on the application of sustainable principles to real estate.

Prior to forming 5 Stone, Doug spent 13 years at JPMorgan as a key member of the real estate asset management team wherein he served as a trusted fiduciary to many large pension plans.

At JPMorgan, he was a Managing Director and co-Portfolio Manager of the 100% green real estate fund, the Urban Renaissance Property Fund.

Prior to being the Urban Renaissance Property Fund’s manager, Doug was a Senior Asset Manager at JPMorgan. Doug led the asset management, profit & loss, and value creation efforts for a large portfolio of industrial, office, multifamily and retail assets of more than 5 million square. The portfolio was valued in excess of $1 billion. As a Senior Asset Manager, he won nine (9) international and national awards for generating outstanding portfolio operating performance from peer groups BOMA, IREM and NAIOP.

Before joining JPMorgan, Doug spent seven years as a Senior Asset Manager for TIAA-CREF’s real estate investment group. He managed several iconic assets such as the New York City’s Seagram Building deemed “one of the 10 buildings that changed America”.

He also worked in the public sector as the Asset Manager for the City of Hartford, protecting and enhancing the City’s sizable commercial property portfolio.

Doug earned an MBA from the University of Connecticut in International Business Finance and received his BA from Yale University. He is a frequent lecturer at Yale’s Graduate School of Management, on real estate, sustainable investing, impact investing, and ESG matters.

He is a frequent speaker on the effectiveness of green building, impact investing, sustainability and ESG topics.

Doug is Vice-President of the National Association of Securities Professionals-NY.

He serves as the Treasurer and Chairs the Finance Committee of the U.S. Board of Directors of the Climate Group.

He recently completed a 10-year term as a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Connecticut Foundation wherein he sat on its Investment Committee.

Dailey Tipton has spent many years in senior positions of management where he is recognized for his expertise in energy and sustainability. He has a long history of growing companies, from start-up to Fortune 500 in size. As the leader for revenue generation for Evolution Energy Partners, Dailey focuses on creating opportunities for customers to drive impact to their bottom line through energy management projects while increasing their sustainable footprint. Prior to EEP, Dailey worked at CPower as a General Manager, SAP as the leader for Energy Management and Sustainable Applications Center of Excellence, DATUM as part of the management team and created, launched and managed a highly successful SAP sustainability practice for ERM.

Dailey started his career as a Naval Flight Officer and is a Veteran of Foreign War with multiple recognitions including two Navy Achievement Medals. He holds two degrees in Engineering: MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University. In his off time, Dailey is a competitive runner, cyclist, long distance open water swimmer and sails boats competitively. Dailey is on the Board of Directors for US Patriot Sailing, a wounded warrior program that provides support to the “Silently Wounded” warriors. Married 34 years to Jessica, who he met at Auburn, with two children Nate 30 and Leah 27.

Allison works in sustainability for Nuveen real assets and private markets. She is responsible for implementing environmental, social, governance (ESG), sustainability and impact initiatives across the real assets and private markets portfolios, including farmland, timber, private equity and private debt. She develops and executes strategies for impact measurement and reporting and assists with pre-investment due diligence and monitoring related to ESG, sustainability and impact.

Prior to joining the firm, Allison worked for the Global Impact Investing Network, where she led impact investing industry development efforts and advised institutional investors on responsible and impact investing strategies. Previously, she advised large fintech and agribusiness companies on sustainable business strategies and impact measurement and she also worked for PlaNet Finance in China.

Allison graduated with a B.A., summa cum laude, in International Studies from Emory University and an M.Sc. in Sustainable Development from the School of Oriental and Asian Studies at the University of London, where she focused on sustainable agriculture.

Douglas Durst is the chairman and a member of the third generation to lead The Durst Organization. Douglas was born in New York City in 1944 and graduated from the Fieldston School and the University of California Berkeley. He is married to Susanne Durst, with whom he has three children: Anita, Alexander and Helena. He joined The Durst Organization in 1968, learning the business from his father, Seymour, and two uncles, Roy and David.

Under the leadership of Douglas and his cousin Jody, The Durst Organization built the nation’s first sustainable skyscraper, 4 Times Square, and the first LEED Platinum high-rise office tower, The Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park. Today, the company owns, manages and operates a 13 million square foot office portfolio and nearly 2,000 residential rental units, as well as overseeing the development, management and leasing of One World Trade Center.

Douglas is a director of the Real Estate Board of New York, The New School and The Trust for Public Land. He has been involved with the theatrical arts for many years and is a member of the board of directors of The Roundabout Theater and Primary Stages.

Indeed she does. From the revitalization of Times Square and the rebirth of Downtown to the westward expansion of Midtown’s central business district, Mary Ann Tighe has been at the forefront of the transformation of New York’s skyline during her 31 years in the real estate industry. Mary Ann has conceived, structured and negotiated virtually every form of deal including ground leases, air rights acquisitions and dispositions, net and gross leases, government incentive packages, and a range of equity transfers from partnership and condominium interests through fee simple sales. She has been responsible for more than 101.6 million square feet of commercial transactions, and her deals have anchored more than 14.4 million square feet of new construction in the New York region—believed to be a record in commercial brokerage.

Mary Ann has been CEO of CBRE’s New York Tri-State Region since 2002, a region of 2,500 employees. Under her leadership, CBRE has become New York’s preeminent firm, outdistancing all competitors in market share, revenue and margins.

Mary Ann is an nine-time winner of the Real Estate Board of New York’s Deal of the Year Award for ingenious brokerage, a record number of wins since the award was created in 1944. She received the Louis Smadbeck Memorial Broker Recognition Award, REBNY’s highest award in brokerage, and REBNY’s Bernard H. Mendik Lifetime Achievement Award. Mary Ann was also honored by the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate with its Urban Leadership Award; she was the first woman to receive this award. Most significantly, Mary Ann has enjoyed unbroken, long-term relationships with a number of public and private companies and non-profit organizations, shaping and implementing their real estate strategies for large and small projects. Her ongoing accounts include the Archdiocese of New York, AMC, Crain’s, 21st Century Fox, News Corp and WPP Group.

For a three-year term starting in January 2010, Mary Ann served as Chairman of the Real Estate Board of New York, the first woman to hold this position in REBNY’s then 114-year history, and the first broker in 30 years.

Mary Ann began her real estate career as a broker at the Edward S. Gordon Company, ultimately rising to the position of Vice Chairman of Insignia/ESG, where she was regularly recognized among the firm’s top producers. Prior to entering the real estate field, Mary Ann served as a Vice President of the American Broadcasting Companies, where she launched the A&E cable channel. Recognized nationally for her expertise in the arts, Mary Ann was also formerly the Deputy Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, Arts Advisor to Vice President Walter Mondale, and a staff member of the Smithsonian Institution.
