1221 Avenue of the Americas is one of Rockefeller Group’s flagship properties, a 2.6 million square-foot office tower designed by Harrison, Abramovitz and Harris, the architects for all of Rockefeller Center. Originally developed with McGraw-Hill, extensive renovations to the lobby and side-street plazas coincided with the resurgence of Sixth Avenue as Manhattan’s most active location for leasing. Brian Holland is Head of Real Estate for Convene, responsible for expanding the company’s global portfolio of brands via market growth, landlord partnerships, and acquisitions. Brian was instrumental in stabilizing the company’s real estate portfolio during the pandemic, its expansion into San Francisco, and continued growth in New York City and London. Prior to Convene, Brian held senior-level positions at real estate development firm OliverMcMillan and commercial real estate company Brookfield Properties where he was integral in the acquisition and development of more than $2 billion in real estate projects nationwide. His experience across the real estate sector is all-encompassing from site selection through to entitlements, capitalization, construction, management, and disposition; and he also serves as principal at HollandandCo, a boutique real estate development and investment firm based in California. Prior to his real estate career, Brian clerked for a federal judge and worked for a regional law firm in San Diego. He holds a B.A. from Westmont College, and a J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law.

As a Vice Chairman based in Savills New York office, Scott is widely recognized as an invaluable asset to clients as he applies his problem-solving abilities and creativity to strategic development, site identification, the implementation of occupancy cost reduction models, labor and logistics solutions, and advanced lease review/renewals. His well-developed technical knowledge of the real estate process gives him a broad understanding of the important principles that must be incorporated into a transaction. Scott is a stalwart advocate for his clients, building a solid network of longstanding relationships and always working to attain the best deal that helps companies thrive and achieve their long-term strategic goals.

Scott’s expansive experience is diverse and has afforded him the opportunity to provide thoughtful advisory services to both tenants and landlords throughout the

years. Before joining Savills, he served as a Managing Director at JLL, overseeing

significant transactions on behalf of numerous financial, insurance, technology,

creative, and apparel companies. During this time, he led many complex

transactions, including multiple acquisition and disposition assignments for

Northwestern Mutual, including a 91,000-square-foot New York City headquarters

transaction at 200 Liberty Street. He has also managed multiple acquisition and

disposition assignments for TIAA, such as negotiating a 52,000-square-foot

transaction for TIAA subsidiary Churchill Asset Management at 375 Park Avenue.

Scott’s outcome-based approach has produced notable deals recently, including

representing Viatris in securing a 23,000-square-foot complex lease at 50 Hudson

Yards. He also helped Dentsu grow to 175,000 square feet in a fully leased asset

through creative deal-making. Notably, Scott negotiated a groundbreaking lease for SAP at 10 Hudson Yards for 150,000 square feet. This complicated deal, which

included negotiating a design construction agreement, was one of the initial

transactions that paved the way for the 1.8MM square foot tower at 10 Hudson Yards and the multi-billion-dollar multiyear transformative Hudson Yards project. Scott also represented Tom Ford with his showroom and flagship retail store on Madison Avenue. Earlier in his career, he was with Cushman & Wakefield, where he was an integral member of one of the firm's most successful brokerage teams.

Julia Sanabria represents clients in a wide range of real estate matters, with a particular focus on commercial leasing. Julia works with institutional and non-institutional clients in the leasing and subleasing of office and retail space throughout the United States. She has extensive experience with joint ventures, the origination and restructuring of mortgage and mezzanine loans, developments, and loan workouts; and she has negotiated commercial leases for a wide range of uses, including office, retail, medical, industrial, and studio, in some of New York City’s most iconic spaces.

Prior to joining the firm, Chad was a portfolio manager and managing director at Guggenheim Real Estate, where he oversaw all facets of their U.S. open-end funds, including one that was a member of the NCREIF NFI-ODCE Index. During his nearly 15 year career at Guggenheim, Chad was a member of the Investment Committee and participated in the acquisition of over 90 direct property assets with a gross acquisition value of $2.6 billion. He started his career as an associate at Banc of America Securities in the Real Estate Investment Banking and Debt Capital Markets groups.

Prior to joining Colliers in 2022, Mr. Redding was a Senior Director at B6 Real Estate Advisors based in New York, where he was a top producer of sale transactions. In 2020, Zach Redding was honored as the Real Estate Board of New York’s Most Promising Salesperson of the Year. Mr. Redding was also honored by Commercial Observer as one of the Top 30 Sales & Leasing Professionals Under 30 in the nation in 2019. Jeff Moerdler is chair of the Haynes Boone Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice and a real estate partner in the New York office. He has more than 40 years’ experience in general commercial real estate law. Jeff’s real estate practice includes acquisitions, sales, development, leasing, and borrower’s side financing. Jeff also has a particular focus on real estate challenges facing communications, technology and energy companies, and represents property owners and telecom companies in telecom real estate matters, particularly in data center development, acquisitions, sales, leases, colocation agreements and service level agreements. His clients include both large national companies and smaller, local clients, and includes representation of landlords and tenants in all types of leases; counseling owners and developers in the acquisition, sale, joint venture, development, and renovation of property as well as sale-leaseback transactions; advising lenders and borrowers in commercial loans; and the representation of all parties in real estate litigation. He is actively involved in settling real estate, partnership, and inter-family disputes. During the past 35 years, Jeff has developed considerable experience in the intersection of real estate with communications, technology, and energy issues. He has extensive experience representing landlords, tenants, developers, and communications service providers in the leasing, purchase, sale, and financing of data centers, colocation facilities, radio and television broadcast antennas, distributed and in-building wireless systems, rooftop antennas, and fiber-optic transactions as well as the wiring of buildings for broadband communications access. Jeff has also negotiated thousands of data center leases, master services agreements, colocation agreements and service level agreements, rooftop and cellular antenna leases, inside wiring agreements, and antenna tower leases throughout the country – covering over 500 million square feet.

He has also devoted a considerable portion of his practice to power and energy issues related to real estate and other technology matters, including large solar and wind installations, battery storage facilities, and bulk power purchases.

Jeff is a frequent speaker on real estate, data center, and telecom topics around the country. He is Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and on the faculty of the Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute. He regularly speaks as a panelist at data center, digital infrastructure and real estate conference around the United States. In addition, he is regularly quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bisnow, Commercial Property News, Real Estate Weekly, and other publications. He co-authored the first treatise chapter on telecom real law for Powell on Real Property in 1999.

Jeff has previously served in numerous governmental positions, including as a Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, a member of the New York State Banking Board, a member of the New York State Financial Control Board, a member of the Departmental Disciplinary Committee of the Appellate Division of the First Department of the New York State Supreme Court, Assistant to the First Deputy Mayor of the City of New York, and assistant to the Deputy Borough President of the Borough of Manhattan. From 1981 to 1982, Jeff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, US District Judge, and later Chief Judge, for the Southern District of New York.

Jeff is also an emergency medical technician on his local volunteer ambulance and President of his local chapter, as well as having served for 8 years on the Board of Trustees of the umbrella organization which is the largest volunteer ambulance service in the United States.
