Anthony E. Malkin is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. He joined its

predecessor entities in 1989. Mr. Malkin has been a leader in existing building energy efficiency retrofits through

coordinating the team of Clinton Climate Initiative, Johnson Controls, JLL, and Rocky Mountain Institute in a

groundbreaking project at the Empire State Building (www.esbsustainability.com). Mr. Malkin led the

development of standards for energy efficient office tenant installations which is now known as the Tenant

Energy Optimization Program at the Urban Land Institute (https://tenantenergy.uli.org/). Mr. Malkin is a board

member of APi Group Corporation, the Real Estate Roundtable and Chair of its Sustainability Policy Advisory

Committee, a member of the Climate Mobilization Advisory Board of the New York City Department of

Buildings, a member of the Urban Land Institute, member of the Board of Governors of the Real Estate Board of

New York, member of the Partnership for New York City’s Innovation Council, and a member of the Building

Committee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Mr. Malkin received a bachelor’s degree cum laude from

As Chief Sustainability Officer, Elizabeth (Beth) Heider, FAIA, LEED Fellow, translates Skanska’s commitment to sustainability into action while serving on Skanska USA’s Management Team. She supports Skanska's US business units: Building and Civil (construction), and Commercial Development with combined annual revenues of approximately $7 Billion. Her career encompasses all phases of design and construction as architect, construction manager and sustainability leader. Known for her work making the business case for green and net zero energy buildings she has been invited to present at over 200 international conferences focusing on the nexus of design, sustainability and good business. Heider served for six years on USGBC’s national Board of Directors which she chaired in 2012. She currently serves on the board of the International Living Future Institute (ILFI). She is widely recognized for her leadership in building more sustainably, most recently by ILFI as a “Living Building Hero”. She serves on the Envision Review Board supporting the development of this powerful rating system for sustainable infrastructure.

Josh Kuriloff, Executive Vice Chairman and member of C&W’s Global Advisory Board of Directors, is a 29-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry and one of the highest-ranking brokerage professionals at C&W.

Mr. Kuriloff represents Willis Group Holdings, the global insurance broker, nationally, and in its lease of Chicago’s Sears Tower recently renamed Willis Tower. Willis Tower is the tallest building in the western hemisphere and will house the Willis Midwest regional headquarters. The complete transaction included a consolidation of six offices, and over $5,000,000 in municipal incentives.

Mr. Kuriloff also represents several of the New York area’s most prominent landlords, including: Beacon Capital Partners at 1211 Avenue of the Americas and Westchester One, Brookfield at Manhattan West a 5.2 million square foot new development, The LeFrak Organization at the Newport Office Center in Jersey City, and Vornado Realty Trust at the Plaza District’s 640 Fifth Avenue and 1290 Avenue of the Americas.

One of Mr. Kuriloff’s most notable assignments involved the completion of a strategic plan on behalf of Pfizer Inc. to acquire 685 Third Avenue – a 31-story, 635,000 square foot office building in Midtown Manhattan, adding to the existing Pfizer metropolitan campus.

Leslie Wohlman Himmel is founder and co-managing partner of Himmel + Meringoff Properties, a leading owner/operator of New York-based commercial real estate and one of the only privately owned, first generation portfolios of Manhattan office buildings. Founded in 1985 with partner Stephen Meringoff, Himmel + Meringoff currently manages two million square feet of commercial real estate valued in excess of $2 billion.

Ms. Himmel began her career as an acquisitions associate at Integrated Resources in 1979 and is today recognized as one of the foremost women leaders of the commercial real estate industry. Focused on creating value through long-term ownership, she is a creative and insightful hands-on owner responsible for the acquisition of property, strategic repositioning of assets and portfolio financing.

In 2017, Ms. Himmel was named as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in New York by Crain’s. She was honored as Harvard Business School Club of New York’s ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ for 2016 and, in 2011, received REBNY’s Mendik Lifetime Leadership in Real Estate Award for exceptional accomplishment and dedication to leadership in New York real estate.

Ms. Himmel is a Board member of the M&T Bank Directors Advisory Council, New York City Mortgage Committee and the Harvard Business School Club of New York. In 1992, she founded and continues to co-chair REBNY’s Economic Development Committee which works with New York City officials to support economic development initiatives in the city. A member of REBNY’s Board of Governors since 2001, Ms. Himmel also serves on the Board of the Executive Committee. Ms. Himmel is a member of the Real Estate Roundtable, the UDMUC Red Council of the Urban Land Institute, Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association of New York and YPO/WPO.

Dedicated to women entrepreneurs, Ms. Himmel established “The Women’s Student Association Fellowship Fund” in 2008, which awards scholarships to Harvard Business School students. Ms. Himmel is also an early stage investor and Board advisor to Hello Alfred, a successful online concierge service, developed by two women who are recent HBS graduates.

Ms. Himmel earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa and received her MBA with high honors from Harvard Business School.

Arthur J. Mirante II joined Avison Young in 2012 as a Principal and Tri-State President, based in the firm’s New York City office. Throughout his career, Mirante has participated in some of the New York market’s largest and most complex transactions, including the sale of the World Trade Center, the headquarters relocations of MasterCard International and The Guardian Life Insurance Company, the record $1.72 billion sale of 200 Park Avenue for Metropolitan Life in 2005, the record $1.8 billion acquisition of 666 Fifth Avenue in 2007, and the long term lease of 75 Rockefeller Plaza to RXR in 2013.

Robert Gilman, CPA, CGMA, is a Principal at Baker Tilly x Anchin . His practice covers a wide range of services for his clients who are mainly involved in the commercial, residential and development of real estate. These services include due diligence on acquisitions, tax structuring on deals, securing financing, and assisting with client investor relations for both domestic and international investors.
