Andrew Steiker-Epstein is VP of Sales / Leasing and Marketing for Charney Companies. As an experienced real estate agent and investor, with a specific focus on value-add property and ground-up projects, Andrew delivers an important skill-set to his role in development. With a keen ability to identify value, underwrite transactions, and optimize sales strategy, he’s established himself as an excellent complement to his colleagues.

Formerly a real estate agent with Compass, one of the largest and fastest-growing brokerages in New York City, Andrew helped close over $50,000,000 in gross sales during a two-year span. He also holds the position of board president in a Brooklyn condo and co-op respectively where he manages building finances and maintenance while maximizing value for owners.

Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree from Bates College and studied real estate finance at Baruch College. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.

Philip Tucker is a partner in Herrick's Real Estate practice where he focuses on condominium and cooperative law for developers, lenders and investors in the acquisition, construction, sale and financing of complex commercial, mixed-use and luxury residential projects.

Phil handles every aspect of the planning, development and implementation of projects, from pre-acquisition due diligence to the preparation of offering plan materials and no-action applications, as well as the marketing and sale of property offerings. He collaborates with stakeholders and key members of development teams, architects and engineers, managing agents, sales teams and other attorneys to move projects from conception through approval and ultimately to sale, addressing the numerous expected — and unexpected — issues that can arise over the life of a development.

Phil’s breadth of experience includes guiding developers through the noneviction process, counseling sponsors on post-development matters related to board governance and allegations of mismanagement or construction defects and preparing and advising on leasehold condominiums and not-for-profits.

Phil also assists clients in connection with the integration of commercial, affordable rental and hotel components into mixed-use condominium developments. His practice includes the review of hotel management agreements, assisting in the development of the sales programs for extended-stay and hotel condominiums and preparing homeowners association documents for a variety of projects.

Phil has been recognized as a Rising Star by Thomson Reuters' Real Estate Super Lawyers, which identifies lawyers who have achieved a high degree of excellence and professional achievement.

Prior to joining Herrick, Philip was a member of the condominium and cooperative group at Kramer Levin Naftalis and Frankel LLP.

Chris is the founding partner involved with the concept and design development of all the practice’s projects. His ability to work across many building types is underpinned by the intellectual rigor with which every project is approached. After studying architecture at University College’s Bartlett in London and the University of Edinburgh, he joined Skidmore Owings and Merrill Architects in 1992. He started at the London office and in 1998 was moved to Washington DC and ultimately to the New York Office. Whilst at SOM Chris won both national and international competitions and completed many award winning office and mixed use buildings.

Chris is currently designing new buildings both in the USA and in Europe, as well as numerous other residential and commercial projects in and around New York City. These include new residential condominiums in New York City and New Jersey and renovations to existing office buildings such as the GM building and 510 Madison. His portfolio also includes numerous apartment and townhouse renovations throughout Manhattan, from classic Upper East Side limestone mansions to charming West Village townhouses.

Jenifer serves as the Executive Vice President and owner of The Cheshire Group, LLC, a real estate investment and consulting firm with three decades of experience revitalizing underperforming properties and creating value-add opportunities. The Cheshire Group is recognized for its ability to analyze and reposition both single assets and large portfolios, always working to maximize returns for clients and their own account. The firm provides customized strategies and reliable execution for a variety of objectives, including workouts, disposition strategies, entitlements, redesigns, and repositioning.

With a proven track record as a marketing expert, Jenifer has overseen the sale of more than $1 billion in commercial real estate assets. She brings specialized expertise in design strategy, guiding critical decisions across multi-family investments and marketing initiatives. Her role encompasses management of all aspects of marketing and sales strategies, from pre-development marketing to asset repositioning. Jenifer ensures that every phase of a project is coordinated, including renovations and upgrades, to enhance property value and attract the ideal target market.

Hillary A. Potashnick chairs the Condominium & Cooperative Practice at Adler & Stachenfeld. She has over 30 years of practice experience in acquisitions and sales of real estate, cooperative and condominium new construction and conversion projects, all aspects of registrations and representation of developers, lenders, and cooperative and condominium boards, financing and workouts between purchasers and developers and lenders, advocacy before the New York State Attorney General’s office, and general real estate practice.

Before joining Adler & Stachenfeld in 2025, Hillary practiced at Seiden & Schein, P.C., Starr Associates LLP, Robinson Silverman (predecessor of Bryan Cave LLP, now known as Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP), and was Director and Counsel of the Cooperative and Condominium Department at Time Equities, Inc.

Hillary has been a member of the New York State Bar Association's Real Property Law Section, Committee on Cooperatives and Condominiums, since 1982. She is admitted to practice law in New York.
