Cyrille Deschamp is the Vice President of Finance and Operations at Prose, the

direct-to-consumer beauty brand delivering custom hair care products that are made-to-order

and address the specific needs and goals of an individual’s hair and scalp. As VP of Finance

and Operations, Deschamp is responsible for leading strategy and overseeing all aspects of the

brand’s financial operations and manufacturing and fulfillment center.

Prior to joining Prose, Deschamp was Chief Operating Officer at Sam Labs where he was

responsible for overseeing Finance, HR and Operations. Deschamp has also held positions at

legacy brands including Unilever, L’Oreal and Louis Vuitton.

Deschamp has received two Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Engineering from

Indsead and Institut Polytechnic de Grenoble in France. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.

A born entrepreneur, Deirdre Quinn’s early love of the craft inspired a degree in fashion design. Her passion for production and merchandising led her to Donna Karan, Escada and Liz Claiborne, where she traveled to more than seventy countries. In 1996, she joined forces with two other fashion veterans and visionaries, Shun Yen Siu and Ida Siu, to found Lafayette 148 New York, creating one of the very rare, vertically integrated fashion brands. More than twenty years later, Deirdre’s boundless drive to discover what’s next continues to lead the brand towards the future, including the move to a soaring, sustainably built loft space in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. A member of the Fashion Institute of Technology and The Brooklyn Hospital Center’s Board of Trustees, Deirdre has a lifelong love of learning and a devotion to philanthropy and enriching the world through education.

Jonathan Ratner

Managing Director

Jonathan Ratner serves as a Managing Director at Madison Capital and is responsible for

investment management activities including the capitalization, financing, leasing, capital

programming and strategic planning for several of the firm’s assets. Mr. Ratner leads the firm’s

development practice and oversees transactions throughout Madison Capital’s portfolio. His

projects include 606 Broadway – a ground-up Class-A development in SoHo, NYC in

partnership with Vornado Realty Trust; 71 Fifth Avenue – a full-building redevelopment in

NYC’s Flatiron District; and 850 Third Avenue – a recapitalization and repositioning of a 1.3

million square foot mixed-use asset in Brooklyn, NY. He has completed over $2 billion in

dispositions, financings and restructurings, sits on the Investment Committee, and directs capital

raising initiatives and investor relations with many of the firm’s joint venture partners.

Prior to joining Madison Capital, Mr. Ratner was a Vice President at Emmes Asset Management

Co. (renamed Vanbarton Group), where he managed the company’s $500 million New York City

portfolio comprising a diversity of 40 assets and two million square feet. Earlier in his career,

Mr. Ratner oversaw high-end commercial construction activity as a Project Manager for

Richter+Ratner Contracting Corp., where he managed complex build-outs for luxury retail

clients including Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ermenegildo Zegna and Christian Dior. While

attending business school, he worked for Toll Brothers’ City Living Division, supervising

development projects in New Jersey.

Mr. Ratner is an advisory board member of the Center for Real Estate Finance Research at New

York University, a member of NYPEN Real Estate, and a performer in the annual Real Estate

Rockers in Relief Benefit. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan

and his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New

York University.

Ellen Israel

In her 30 year career, Ellen Israel has worked for some of the largest institutional and entrepreneurial real estate organizations, and has sat on every side of a negotiating table.

Ms. Israel launched her career in 1980 at N.Peter Burton, where she worked with and learned the business from her father, George Israel, a respected and accomplished 50-year veteran of the industry. She immediately gained the notice of the industry when she successfully sold a 1-million-sq.ft. building for the owner, Ford Motor Development (currently known as the BMW Building), to two leading New York landlords (George Kaufman and Aaron Gural) for $40 million.

In the years since, Ms. Israel has executed transactions totaling over 25 million square feet of sales and leasing on behalf of owners, investors and tenants.

Dale is a principal in Stream Realty’s Industrial Development Services group, were he is responsible for execution of industrial projects in East Coast and Chicago markets. Prior to joining Stream Dale spent 13 years at J. P. Morgan Asset Management Global Real Assets where his responsibilities included investments in industrial, office and residential assets throughout the US. Prior to joining J. P. Morgan, Dale was a commercial real estate appraiser with Samuel D. Koon & Associates of Columbus, Ohio. Dale holds a B.S. in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and a M.S. in Real Estate Finance from the New York University. He also holds the Certified Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Urban Land Institute, and NAIOP.

Ibrahiim Bayaan

Ibrahiim Bayaan is an Economist with CBRE Econometric Advisors based in Atlanta, Georgia. His primary responsibilities involve forecasting and analyzing industrial commercial real estate trends in U.S. markets. Ibrahiim also researches the recent dynamics within the logistics sector and the implications for industrial real estate performance.

Prior to CBRE, Ibrahiim began his career heading up economic analysis at UPS in 2010 while completing his Ph.D. coursework at Emory University. In this capacity, he played a key role in revamping international, domestic, and regional forecasting procedures, developing statistical models explaining macroeconomic activity and the effects on transportation patterns. He then served as the Chief Economist at FreightWaves, a data analytics and risk management startup focused on real-time analysis of the transportation and logistics sector. He also has a wealth of experience in consulting and is a recognized speaker on trends within transportation, supply chain and logistics.
