Joshua Pang is a Managing Director and the Head of Digital Infrastructure for Carlyle Global Infrastructure. He is based in New York.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Pang served as Managing Director at Blackstone. Throughout his career, he has been investing in and partnering with leading businesses and management teams across digital infrastructure asset classes, including data centers, bandwidth/broadband and mobile infrastructure, and adjacencies such as communications IT, services, and software.

Before Blackstone, Mr. Pang was a Principal in the U.S. Buyouts group at BC Partners, where he primarily focused on telecom. He began his career as an analyst at Blackstone. He received his B.S. in Finance and Financial Accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Madonna Park is the Chief Financial Officer at Switch. She is responsible for the

financial management of the company, including leading the Accounting, Finance,

Internal Audit and Investor Relations teams.

Madonna brings more than 20 years of experience as an investment banker and equity

research analyst. She joined Switch after more than 17 years with RBC Capital Markets,

where she most recently served as Managing Director and Global Head of

Communications Infrastructure. In this role, she was focused on providing companies in

the data center and fiber sectors with comprehensive financial advisory services

including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and equity and

debt underwriting. Madonna has successfully led and executed numerous high-profile

M&A and capital market transactions in the data center space across North America,

Europe and Asia.

Doug Powers joined KKR in 2021 and is a Principal on the Infrastructure team, focused on digital infrastructure investments globally. Mr. Powers has led KKR's investments in the data center and compute sector, including CyrusOne and Global Technical Realty. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Powers worked in private equity at Charlesbank Capital Partners and in consulting at Bain & Company. He holds a degree in Applied Mathematics cum laude from Harvard College.

Waldemar Szlezak joined KKR in 2019 and is a Partner on the Infrastructure team. Mr. Szlezak leads KKR’s digital infrastructure investments globally. At KKR, Mr. Szlezak is actively involved in a number of investments, including CyrusOne, Global Technical Realty, MetroNet, On*Net Fibra de Chile, On*Net Fibra de Colombia, On*Net Fibra de Peru, Nexo Latam, Hyperoptic and Pinnacle Towers. Prior to joining KKR, he was a Senior Managing Director in the Private Equity group of Soros Fund Management LLC (SFM) where he was responsible for originating, structuring and monitoring the firm’s communications infrastructure and real estate investments. Kemal Hawa is a corporate partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Kemal represents many of the world’s largest private equity firms, infrastructure funds, real estate investors and lenders across a broad range of transactions in the digital infrastructure sector domestically and internationally, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, financing arrangements, joint ventures and development projects.

Kemal counsels clients in complex transactions across the digital infrastructure and telecommunications, media and technology industries. This includes many of the world’s largest data center operators, telecommunications carriers, tower companies, cloud providers, fiber providers, media companies, submarine cable operators, fintech companies, wireless and international carriers, internet service providers, satellite companies, equipment manufacturers and electric utilities.

Rudy Kraus is a professional in critical power and cooling systems and how they relate to

reliability, energy savings and cost. In his current position as a co-founder, partner and Chief

Commercial Officer for VIE Technologies, an artificial intelligence leader in the data center

facilities layer space, he oversees the application of AI-based prediction systems that enhance

conditioned maintenance, conditioned loading and conditioned-based sustainability.

He has developed several startup data center-based businesses acquired by internationally

recognized companies and has been especially active in the design, finance, construction and

application of direct current data centers reducing power and increasing reliability and

maintainability.

Rudy has earned multiple patents in mechanical and electrical critical data center applications.

He sits on a number of nonprofit boards and holds several design-build licenses and multiple

commercial aviation licenses. He graduated from the University of Bridgeport and served our

country as a Marine Corps Aviator and logistics division head.

Fran previously served as the Chief Financial Officer at IQHQ, a developer and owner of life science real estate. Prior to that, Fran served in various roles at Ventas, Inc., most recently as Vice President of Capital Markets and Managing Director of the Ventas Life Science and Healthcare Real Estate Fund. She previously worked as the Director of Global Treasury and Capital Markets for Terraform Global, including during its IPO, and held roles in Capital Markets and Finance at Prologis.

In addition to her professional experiences, Fran also is active in Chief, an organization focused on supporting women in senior leadership positions, and the Urban Land Institute, a leading organization in the broader real estate industry, as well as serving on the boards of One Tail at a Time and the National Eating Disorder Association.

Fran received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and her Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School.

In her spare time, Fran enjoys hiking and being outdoors, ideally with her two dogs, and is currently working on her WSET Level 3 certification in wine.

During the past 35 years, Jeff has developed considerable experience in the intersection of real estate with communications, technology, and energy issues. He has extensive experience representing landlords, tenants, developers, and communications service providers in the leasing, purchase, sale, and financing of data centers, colocation facilities, radio and television broadcast antennas, distributed and in-building wireless systems, rooftop antennas, and fiber-optic transactions as well as the wiring of buildings for broadband communications access. Jeff has also negotiated thousands of data center leases, master services agreements, colocation agreements and service level agreements, rooftop and cellular antenna leases, inside wiring agreements, and antenna tower leases throughout the country – covering over 500 million square feet.

He has also devoted a considerable portion of his practice to power and energy issues related to real estate and other technology matters, including large solar and wind installations, battery storage facilities, and bulk power purchases.

Jeff is a frequent speaker on real estate, data center, and telecom topics around the country. He is Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and on the faculty of the Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute. He regularly speaks as a panelist at data center, digital infrastructure and real estate conference around the United States. In addition, he is regularly quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bisnow, Commercial Property News, Real Estate Weekly, and other publications. He co-authored the first treatise chapter on telecom real law for Powell on Real Property in 1999.

Jeff has previously served in numerous governmental positions, including as a Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, a member of the New York State Banking Board, a member of the New York State Financial Control Board, a member of the Departmental Disciplinary Committee of the Appellate Division of the First Department of the New York State Supreme Court, Assistant to the First Deputy Mayor of the City of New York, and assistant to the Deputy Borough President of the Borough of Manhattan. From 1981 to 1982, Jeff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, US District Judge, and later Chief Judge, for the Southern District of New York.

Jeff is also an emergency medical technician on his local volunteer ambulance and President of his local chapter, as well as having served for 8 years on the Board of Trustees of the umbrella organization which is the largest volunteer ambulance service in the United States.
