With over 25 years in the construction industry, Roger has extensive experience on both the construction and development sides of the real estate business. Prior to starting FC Modular within Forest City Ratner Companies, Roger spent 12 years at Forest City Ratner Companies as SVP of Mixed Use and Residential Development, entitling and planning over 1,000 residential apartment units integrated into many of FCRC’s Retail projects.

In 2008 Roger spearheaded the first R&D project for Modular Construction which lead to The Creation of FC Modular and subsequently the creation of a factory and business to build the tallest volumetric modular building in the world.

Prior to working at Forest City Roger was an owner and operator of Fiber Media, a high tech Developer/Contractor in the High Tech Sector based in the Mid¬West. Roger’s experience makes him uniquely qualified to lead a groundbreaking industry change like the movement to off-site built construction for large scale urban multifamily construction. As a Recipient of the Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Award 2014 for his work on the creation of a high-rise modular process he has been publically recognized as a leader in innovation. Roger received his degree in management and organizational psychology from Babson College.

In just over a decade, Josh Schuster has established himself as a leader of the ‘next

generation’ of New York real estate professionals. Having closed more than $1 billion in

development deals by the age of 34, Josh started his own development company in July

2016, Silverback Development, focusing on ground-up development and adaptive reuse

opportunities that enhance neighborhoods by pushing the boundaries of design.

In Silverback’s first year, Schuster and his team secured nearly $470 million in new

deals and control of a $2 billion asset pipeline nationwide, in addition to $400 million in

projects still underway through his previous firm, DHA Capital.

As former principal of DHA Capital, Josh sourced and led the development of many

noteworthy luxury residential developments in New York City, including 50 Clinton

Street, 535 West 43 rd  Street, 75 Kenmare and 12 East 13 th  Street. Prior to his time at

DHA, Josh served as director of development at JMH Development, where he was

responsible for the trailblazing luxury renovation of 184 Kent Avenue, one of the first

and most successful multifamily conversions in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Josh is the founder and chairman Bicol

Clinic Foundation, a non-profit organization that builds clinics that provide free medical

care in developing countries. To date, the organization has raised more than $3 million,

and has built four clinics on three continents.

A graduate of Tulane University, Josh is the youngest board member of the Baruch

College - Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute, and also a co-chair of Urban Land

Institute's NYC Multifamily Housing Council. He is also a member of the American Real

Estate and Urban Economics Association, and the New York Private Equity Network.

Martin Kapell AIA is the founding principal Think! Architecture and Design, a design focused studio based in Downtown Brooklyn. Marty, an architect with close to 40 years of professional experience, and Think! partner Jack Esterson lead the design effort at the firm providing leadership and oversight for all projects and all aspects of the operation of the 30 person firm. Simon Koster brings his unique engineering background and leadership to oversee development planning, design, coordination, and construction management teams across all projects. Koster graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Materials Engineering, and the University of Michigan with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Karl Frederic is a Partner with the law firm of Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP. Has a multi-disciplinary practice focusing on real estate development, leasing, construction and related matters involving the full spectrum of real estate assets -- from retail centers and corporate headquarters to MetLife Stadium. He has a particular experience in real estate matters involving the pharmaceutical and bio-tech industries. Mr. McCartin manages the Design and Construction department at the New York office, and oversees design and construction activity in India. During his tenure with Tishman Speyer, he has also served as project executive overseeing the development of a London headquarters project for a financial services institution, project manager for the redevelopment of Rockefeller Center, project executive for the development of 222 East 42nd Street, and project executive for the interiors of 200 West Street in New York. Mr. McCartin sits on the board of Directors for The Municipal Art Society of New York, New York Building Congress and the ACE Mentor Program. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer in 1996, Mr. McCartin worked for Schimenti Construction and Turner Construction.
