Jack works for Gil-Bar Health and Life Sciences where he is the Vice President of their healthcare division. Jack specializes in modular operating room construction to improve constructability and quality.

Currently, Jack works with hospital design and construction teams to assist in creating a better operating room environment. By applying modular cleanroom technologies, improving air quality and utilizing safe hospital construction practices he is able to help hospitals manage infection prevention and control.

Spencer Romoff joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2023 and is a Member with the firm’s Transactions Department.

Romoff advises on a sophisticated range of corporate, real estate development, joint venture and transactional matters. His practice focuses on real estate development and construction (ground up, rehabilitation and adaptive re-use), debt and equity financing, and acquisitions and dispositions. Romoff started his career as a tax lawyer at Proskauer Rose LLP, in Manhattan, giving him the added capacity to advise clients on the fundamental tax implications of their transactions and to assist in structural tax planning. Further, Romoff spent 15 years of his career as General Counsel & Executive Vice President at a privately held New York real estate investment and development company, providing him with “client-side” perspective, and the ability to add value on business matters, as well as providing legal expertise.

Prior to joining Rosenberg & Estis, Romoff was a Partner with Duval Partners LLC.

Dave started his own firm in 1993 and founded Loci Architecture in 1998. He has completed hundreds of projects including master plans, feasibility studies, new construction, exterior restorations, building renovations, and interiors in the residential, academic, cultural, and commercial sectors. His love of New York City’s unique urban ecology led him to co-found Gowanus by Design, a non-profit community organization that is exploring the long-term urban planning challenges and development opportunities around the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn. He co-chairs the Land Use Committee of Brooklyn Community Board 6 and is a member of the Gowanus Oversight Task Force. He recently joined the Pratt Institute School of Art Dean’s Council as a founding member. He is also a member of the Champions Circle at the Metropolitan Museum and the Studio Forum at the Whitney Museum. Dave was awarded his Bachelor of Architecture degree by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Minor in Studio Arts. He is licensed to practice architecture in New York and New Jersey, and spends as much of his spare time as possible in his painting studio.

Eric Sutter is a producer with a focused specialization in construction at NFP. Eric joined NFP in 2021 and incorporates over 25 years of extensive fieldwork and industry experience to enhance outcomes for clients and their organizations, helping to solve their biggest business challenges.

Before his current position, Eric held sales roles at Caterpillar, BlueLine Rental and Volvo Rents, leveraging his experience and industry insights to serve the complex needs of his clients, including secure bonds, property and casualty (P&C) insurance coverage and more. His dedication to clients was highlighted in 2022 when he was named the Breakout Producer for P&C at NFP.

Eric has five children, two of whom currently serve with honor in the United States Army. In his spare time, Eric is a football coach as well as a proud supporter of all of his children’s academic and athletic endeavors.

He has a passion for business development working with contractors to design, implement, and sell unique energy solutions that best match their customer’s needs.

In his spare time Mike is a happily terrible golfer and enjoys traveling whenever the chance arises.

Brendan Schmitt is a partner in Herrick’s Real Estate Department.

Brendan practices in all facets of real estate law with a focus on real estate development and construction law, representing owners, developers and lenders in contract drafting, negotiation and review, general counseling and development advisory services. Brendan works with property owners and developers through all phases of the building process, beginning prior to acquisition through project completion, advising clients on a diverse range of matters, including construction contracts, risk management and neighboring property construction license agreements.

Brendan works closely with real estate developers to maximize construction cost and time efficiencies. He regularly advises developers on construction manager and subcontractor selection, construction sequencing and administration, issues involving the protection of neighboring properties, and regulatory compliance and approvals.

Brendan was recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for 2021 for Construction Law. In 2019, Brendan was named one of New York Real Estate Journal's "Ones to Watch," which focuses on up-and-coming professionals across all areas of real estate.

While attending Fordham University School of Law, Brendan served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Debra Freeman of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York.
