he has been deeply involved as a developer in Harlem's

public policy and community development goals. Prior

to his New York projects, he was active in national

real estate markets and international capital markets

through leadership positions at Eastdil Realty, Roseland

Property Company and Daiwa Securities America.

He has served on the Executive Committee of the board

of Phipps Houses (New York's largest affordable housing

developer and owner), was a member on the board of

Phipps Neighborhoods and is Co-Chair of the board of

the Tenement Museum. He received an MBA from

Columbia University and a BArch from the University

of Maryland.

Jeffrey Beckham

W. Jeffrey Beckham is Executive Vice President, Head of Portfolio Management and Co-Portfolio Manager for the GID Mainstay Fund. He serves as a member of GID’s Executive and Investment Committees. Mr. Beckham is responsible for managing the portfolio management team; overseeing GID’s strategy and research functions, analyzing and developing new investment products for GID and managing the investor relations team.

Previously, Mr. Beckham worked at Jamestown, where he served as Head of Institutional Investment Management and Fund Manager for Jamestown’s flagship open-end vehicle, the Premier Property Fund. Prior to Jamestown, Mr. Beckham worked at Tishman Speyer in both New York and Atlanta focusing primarily on acquisitions and development deals. Before Tishman Speyer, Mr. Beckham worked at Hines in London, England, focusing on development projects and Morgan Stanley Real Estate in New York, London and Tokyo, Japan, focusing on principal investing and advisory assignments.

Mr. Beckham received a BBA degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

Christopher Balestra

With 16 years of real estate investment experience, Chris is responsible for all aspects of Taconic’s acquisition business. Chris has led or been directly involved in the acquisition of nearly $4 billion of real estate while at Taconic, all in New York City. Additionally, he is responsible for deal sourcing and structuring, overseeing all of Taconic’s debt and equity financings, as well as fundraising and rezoning initiatives.

Prior to joining Taconic 14 years ago, Chris was a Banking Officer at M&T Bank where he was responsible for underwriting and sourcing commercial real estate loan opportunities in the New York City MSA. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Colgate University and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Vibrant Emotional Health.

He was formerly Executive Managing Director of CBRE where he managed the revenue operations of the New York City market, and held various positions at Insignia/ESG.

Alexis is focused on the strategic repositioning and leasing of a critical segment of Hines’ New York

commercial portfolio. Since joining the firm in 2007, Alexis has been instrumental in delivering creative

amenities, securing tenants, managing third-party teams, repositioning assets and negotiating

transactions. Throughout her 14-year tenure with Hines, Alexis Michael has generated significant value

within many high-profile assets. She is currently leasing the six-million SF, 12 property, Hudson Square

portfolio. Within this project, she led and executed one of 2019’s largest leasing deals in lower

Manhattan, with a record 960,000 SF single-tenant lease. Alexis is founding member of the OneHines

Women’s Network.

Alexis earned her BA in Architecture from Columbia University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Adam Greene is a Principal at MAG Partners.

MAG Partners spun out of a successful two-year partnership with the L&L Holding Company founders,

called L&L MAG. As a Managing Director at L&L MAG, Adam led the $1.7 billion redevelopment of

Terminal Warehouse, a 1.2 million square foot historic warehouse to office conversion in Chelsea. In

addition, Adam led the execution of the hospitality program for 425 Park Avenue and the master-

planning and entitlements for 44-02 Vernon Boulevard and the Long Island City waterfront.

Prior to L&L MAG, Adam served as Vice President of Residential Development and Construction at

Forest City Ratner Companies, managing the development of Pacific Park Brooklyn, the $4.9 billion, 22-

acre mixed-use development. His work at Pacific Park included the open space master-planning and the

development of 535 Carlton Avenue, 38 6th Avenue and 461 Dean Street, the tallest modular residential

high-rise in the world at time of construction.

Before joining Forest City, Adam worked as an architect at Richard Meier & Partners and as a design

critic at Cornell University’s Department of Architecture.

Adam received his Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and his Master of Architecture in

Urban Design from Harvard University. Adam is a Registered Architect in New York and a LEED

Accredited Professional.

Dan Fine

As the Vice President and General Manager of Turner New York’s interior division, Dan Fine is responsible for developing and overseeing short- and long-term strategic plans that affirm Turner’s position as one of the largest and most trusted construction service providers. In this capacity, he oversees a portfolio of interior and repositioning projects across New York City, as well as providing executive oversight on matters related to Turner’s operational, financial and sales initiatives.

Upon completing his degree at the University of Miami, Dan joined Turner as an assistant engineer. In the years that followed, Dan was promoted to positions of greater responsibility including Business Development Manager. His portfolio includes the renovation of Madison Square Garden, the construction of Yankee Stadium, and Three Jackson Park in Queens, New York.

In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Dan is the executive sponsor of Turner’s Employee Resource Group, the Young Professionals Network. The Young Professionals Network is intendent to engage, connect, and encourage employees to be active in the early stages of their professional careers. This network of current and future leaders, will assist young professionals to further develop both technical and functional skills, build important and lasting relationships within the industry, and reach their full potentials through self-awareness and advocacy.

Mark Coe is a Senior Business Development Director for CBRE Project Management Advisory business in New York Tri-State. In his role, he is responsible for sourcing, developing and closing third-party project management business opportunities across the New York area.

Mr. Coe has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including project management, general contracting and real estate development. In his time at CBRE, he has been responsible for some of the firm’s most impactful go-to-market strategies expanding our Project Management client base and taking on larger and more complex projects in New York City and surrounding metro areas. A member of CBRE’s national leadership team, he helps set strategy to drive the firm’s regionally and nationally.

Mr. Coe is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned a BS in civil engineering.

Driven by a passion for facilitating design excellence, she is adept at leading large teams of architects, engineers, and specialty consultants to achieve their best work. From overseeing the transformation of a historic military building on Governors Island into the award-winning LMCC's Arts Center to managing the highly successful repositioning of 1271 Avenue of the Americas—the former Time & Life Building—Kate is central to the firm’s repositioning practice, which addresses the interrelated issues of asset value, design quality, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint. Kate is co-lead of the firm’s Repositioning | Carbon Retrofit Team. Holding both a BArch and a BS in history from Carnegie Mellon University, she is a licensed architect, WELL AP, and LEED Green Associate and earned a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from Cornell University. Kate was recently honored as a Woman on the Rise by Commercial Observer magazine.

Susi Yu is a Principal and the Head of Development at MAG Partners, responsible for overseeing and

executing the company’s development investment strategy.

MAG Partners spun out of a successful two-year partnership with the L&L Holding Company founders,

called L&L MAG. During her tenure at L&L MAG, Susi oversaw the acquisition and development of 480-

unit multi-family rental project in Chelsea.

Previously, Susi served as Executive Vice President of Development for Forest City Ratner Companies,

leading the Residential Development team on execution of Pacific Park Brooklyn, the $4.9 billion, 22-

acre mixed-use development in the heart of Brooklyn. At Forest City, Susi also oversaw the development

of large scale, mixed-use urban projects including New York by Gehry, a 896-unit residential building

designed by Frank Gehry. Susi started at Forest City in 2001 and worked there until 2018, except for a

20-month stint from 2013-2015 with the Howard Hughes Corporation as Senior Vice President of

Development.

Trained as an architect at the University of Virginia’s School of Architecture, Susi previously worked for

ten years in that field, most recently as a Project Architect for Robert A.M. Stern. She is a graduate of

Columbia University’s Master of Science in Real Estate Development Program and is a registered

architect in New York State. Susi emigrated from Seoul, Korea to Richmond, Virginia at the age of ten.

Susi serves on an advisory board of the Goldman Family and is a director of Apple Bank.

Ashlea Aaron is the Senior Managing Director of Commercial Leasing for The Durst Organization’s 2 million square foot Midtown East portfolio. She oversees leasing activity at 205 East 42nd Street, 655 Third Avenue, 675 Third Avenue and 733 Third Avenue and also assists with the leasing of The Durst Organization's West Side portfolio. Ashlea joins Tom Bow, David Neil and the organization’s leasing team to help chart strategy for the organization’s 13 million square foot commercial portfolio.

Prior to joining The Durst Organization, Ashlea was a Senior Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield where, in 2012, she received the Rising Star Award. At C&W, Ashlea represented a diverse group of clients including Callahan Capital Properties, Cohen Brothers Realty, Beacon Capital Partners, Equity Office Properties, MetLife, Metropole Realty Advisors, SL Green Realty and Vornado Realty Trust. Previously, she was a Financial Analyst/Associate Broker at The Vortex Group.

Ashlea is a graduate of Colgate University where she majored in History and Economics. While in school, she undertook a variety of real estate internships in residential and building development companies.

Matthew Coudert, Director of Leasing, has been involved in the leasing side of the business, as well as asset management at George Comfort & Sons, Inc. for over 30 years. He joined the company in 1987, and has held lead roles in the repositioning and re-tenanting of significant New York City buildings including 200 Madison Avenue, Worldwide Plaza at 350 West 50th Street, 63 Madison Avenue, 498 Seventh Avenue, 24 West 57th Street, 20 East 46th Street and others.

Key to his success, in addition to his exceptional knowledge of the commercial leasing market, has been to consistently maintain strong relationships with owners, tenants and the brokerage community, at which Matthew excels. This focus on relationships has consistently helped attract and retain excellent tenants that include such corporate giants as IBM, NY Life, SEIU, PVH, HAVAS, WebMD, and CBS Broadcasting.

A native of Greenwich, Connecticut, Matthew graduated from Washington & Lee University with a B.A. degree in Economics. He is married with two children, and resides in Manhattan. His love of sailing is a favorite pastime, and a passion he shares with the underserved youth in NYC as a volunteer board member of Hudson River Community Sailing, a not-for-profit focused on teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) through sailing and other water-based activities.
