Convene 360 Madison Avenue

Located in Manhattan's Midtown East neighborhood, Convene 360 Madison Avenue is a three-level meeting and event venue. With 17 meeting spaces spanning 68,000 square feet, the venue is ideal for conferences, company town halls, planning meetings, or any event that requires multiple breakout spaces.

The location boasts a simple and sleek design with a dedicated Welcome Desk and reception area on each floor. Levels four and five are connected by a central staircare and each feature an 11-foot LED wall, offering additional branding opportunities. A full buy-out of all three floors can accommodate approximately 950 guests, and single-floor buyouts have a capacity of 331, 318, and 213, respectively. Convene 360 Madison Avenue provides a white box space allowing for client and event branding opportunities, in-house catering with customization options and dining private to each event, in room A/V technology supported by an on-site team, and dedicated hospitality resources.

The venue is easily accessible via public transportation and is in close proximity to Grand Central Station.

expanding and managing The Baldwin Group’s Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) practice, cultivating and servicing

In 2011, Rob joined the team at The Baldwin Group from Aon Construction Services Group where he was Co-Director of

Contractor Default Insurance and Surety. His responsibilities included developing and managing the national default

insurance operations along with management and business development of regional surety business. Prior to this, Rob

held the position of Senior Surety Underwriting Officer at Chubb Surety.

Rob is an active member of numerous local and national industry associations and is the former New Jersey Chapter

President of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).

With nearly 40 years of experience, Charlie’s extensive portfolio spans education, hospitality, life science and healthcare, multifamily, sports venues, public work, and commercial—leading high-performing teams to deliver the most complex projects on fast-track schedules. His client roster includes St. John’s University, Children’s Museum of Manhattan, Northwell Health, and The Peninsula New York.

Charlie serves on the board of New York Building Congress, Building Contractor’s Association, and Salvadori Center. He is a member of the Hotel Association of New York City and previously served in leadership positions for the Building Trades Employers’ Association and Association for a Better NY. Sarah is a partner in the firm’s Construction practice group. She has extensive experience representing a wide array of construction industry clients, including property owners, real estate developers, commercial lessees, design builders, construction managers, design professionals, and contractors in transactional, corporate governance, risk management, and litigation matters. Her experience includes front-end advising on the selection of appropriate project delivery methods, drafting and negotiating complex design and construction agreements, risk management and insurance advising, and managing and litigating complex construction claims.

Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Sarah founded her own construction law firm representing a broad array of East Coast-based construction industry clients in transactional matters. Sarah also served as in-house counsel for one of the largest international architecture and engineering firms in the world, where she negotiated construction project agreements, managed complex construction litigation claims, and advised on corporate compliance, risk management, and insurance matters, both nationally and globally. Before serving as in-house counsel, Sarah developed expertise at a boutique construction law firm, where her practice included representing New York City-based construction industry clients on both transactional and litigation matters.

Sarah believes that every successful construction client relationship starts with an understanding of the unique aspects of a project. Through years of experience, she has developed a practical understanding of various project types, delivery models, and players, enabling her to expertly serve her clients during entity formation, project planning, contract negotiation, design and construction phases, and litigation. As a registered architect, he has led numerous ground-up developments and renovations, including mixed-use, commercial, and luxury multifamily projects. During his career, Joel has managed project budgets of up to $2.8 billion for facilities totaling 2.3 million square feet. He has held senior positions at international multi-media firms, asset management firms, and a multinational finance and insurance firm, where he managed a portfolio of office, retail, and residential properties. Joel holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honors) from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Alvin Schein is a Co-Chair of the NYC Real Estate Estate Tax & Zoning Incentives Practice at Adler & Stachenfeld LLP. A recognized expert in cooperative and condominium law and affordable housing law, Mr. Schein has filed or supervised the filing of more than 200 inclusionary housing plans with the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (“HPD”), in both onsite and offsite contexts. He is one of the few attorneys in New York whose practice includes representing sellers and purchasers of inclusionary air rights.

Mr. Schein has prepared hundreds of cooperative and condominium offering plans and condominium declarations, including those for affordable home ownership and the first-ever condominium and cooperative offering plans for inclusionary housing home ownership. He regularly interfaces with HPD, the NYS Attorney General’s office, the NYC Industrial Development Agency, the NYS Housing Finance Agency, the NYC Housing Development Corporation, and the NYC Department of City Planning, as well as New York City Council members and local community boards.

Before joining Adler & Stachenfeld in 2025, Mr. Schein was affiliated with Seiden & Schein, P.C., a law firm he co-founded in 1996. Seiden & Schein was well regarded as a firm with extensive knowledge of the critical areas of real estate tax incentive programs, condominium development, and inclusionary housing with attorneys possessing the ability to counsel clients through highly complex real estate transactions.

As Northeast Leader of NFP’s Construction & Infrastructure Group – Tom is responsible for assisting in the developing and implementation of the strategy, operations, and the deployment of NFP’s resources for contractors and developers.

Prior to joining NFP, Tom established the New York Construction Team for Lockton Companies Northeast Series. Where he oversaw the brokering and account management for his contractor (civil and commercial), subcontractor and developer clients which included renewable and project specific placements. In addition, he coordinated the hiring and management of the account, loss control and claims team members. Tom also spent time leading the Builders Risk team for the Northeast while working for Aon and was a construction placement specialist at Willis of New York.

Tom has participated in speaking engagements on topics ranging from emerging trends, risk management and risk transfer within the New York construction and infrastructure sector.

Tom maintains his property and casualty licenses across the US and has also received his Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) from the International Risk Management Institute (IRMI) As well as the Associate in Risk Management (ARM).

Tom holds an BA in Communications from the Quinnipiac University.

Josh Oberman has been practicing law for over twenty years. He provides holistic legal advice to contractors, developers, and high net-worth homeowners throughout the New York Metropolitan Area and Long Island’s East end.

Josh focuses on achieving practical and efficient solutions for his clients who include some of the City’s largest trade contractors and developers. Approaching problems holistically, he works with clients’ CPA’s and Insurance/Surety professionals to make sure their needs are addressed from all angles.

A seasoned and creative deal maker, he is also a tenacious litigator who routinely litigates cases through trial when necessary. He has deep expertise in all aspects of private and public construction and negotiating and litigating Access Agreements under New York Real Property Law 881. He has shepherded clients through commercial disputes, litigation with sureties, union negotiations and conflicts, and insolvency.

Working in tandem with the Firm’s corporate department, Josh ensures that his clients achieve the right corporate structure. He also works extensively with the Firm’s trusts and estates department to help clients implement asset preservation strategies.

A dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker, Josh combines his construction law expertise with extensive knowledge of the local community both in the City and on the East End.

He is a Board Member of the New York City Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association, and a past the President of the New York City Surety Association. He is a member of Ned's Club and an avid supporter of the Guggenheim Museum and the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center.
