As Principal and Managing Director of Development and Operations, Dan is responsible for the day-to-day operations and execution of all development and construction projects across the portfolio. Dan leads a team of in-house experts responsible for entitlements, design development, consultant coordination, and construction.

Dan joined Advance Realty from Structure Tone Inc., in New York City, where he spent five years as a project estimator and project superintendent. This on-site experience served Dan well at Advance. Since joining Advance, Dan has served as Project Manager for various TI and Capital Projects across the portfolio. The Advance Team recently completed a 140 unit, 20,000sf retail, 363 car garage in Hoboken, NJ this past Fall. With a growing footprint in retail, mixed use, and multifamily-ground up development Dan will serve a key role in the implementation of these projects.

Dan holds a BA from Princeton University, and an MS in Real Estate Development from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.

Matthew Pestronk is co-founder of Post Brothers, a real estate investment, development and management company with singular and unique expertise in urban real estate development. Matthew serves as President of the company, engaged in the sponsorship of Class-A multifamily, mixed-use and retail development projects comprised of over 7,000 units that are operating, under development or disposed plus, over 400,000 sf of commercial space, with a total capitalized cost in excess of $2.5 billion. Matthew shares strategic leadership of the company with his brother, Michael, and is engaged in asset management, financing, and project and capital formation. Matthew has worked in real estate capital transactions for his entire 20+-year career and was previously a real estate financing executive in New York City prior to forming Post Brothers. Matthew is also very active in his community and has board service experience for multiple charitable organizations including the Philadelphia Holocaust Remembrance Foundation, Beat the Streets Philadelphia, West Nottingham Academy, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and is the Immediate past Chair of Jewish Federation Real Estate.

As Principal and Vice President of Investment at Advance Realty, Alex Cocoziello focuses on risk

management, capital allocation, and investment strategy helping to ensure seamless execution of the

firm’s core, value-added and opportunistic real estate transactions.

Prior to joining Advance, Alex worked as a trader and market-maker for Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s

Global Markets Division on the Event-Driven Equity Team. In this role, Alex specialized in the trading of

equity securities focusing on risk arbitrage of corporate mergers and acquisitions, distressed equity, and

post-reorganizational equity. His responsibilities included managing firm capital in risk situations,

providing fundamental and technical market analysis, daily trading commentary, and corporate earnings

analysis to institutional clients such as asset managers, pension funds, mutual funds, and hedge funds.

Alex holds a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, and an MS in Real Estate with a

concentration in finance and investment from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.

Jose is a senior managing director and co-office head in the New Jersey office of JLL Capital

Markets, Americas. He joins JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and is a member of the firm’s

leadership committee. Jose specializes in investment advisory throughout New Jersey,

New York and Connecticut and also oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s New

Jersey office. During the course of his more than 25-year commercial real estate career,

he’s been involved in more than $62 billion of office, industrial, retail, multifamily and land

sales.

Jose started at HFF in March 2010. Before that, he was the executive director of Cushman &

Wakefield’s New York area investment sales group where he spent more than 17 years. He

began his real estate career as a real estate analyst at PaineWebber, UBS, Inc.

Mr. Witmondt is the CEO of Woodmont Properties, a privately-owned regional real estate investment and development business founded by his father in 1963. Since joining the company in 1993, Eric has transformed the company into a full-service vertically integrated real estate firm that acquires, entitles, finances, develops, constructs, sells, leases and manages a wide range of properties. Woodmont employs more than 190 people in NJ and PA. Since 2007, Woodmont has constructed more than 17 luxury apartment communities throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is currently building 1,000 apartments in Princeton, Roxbury, Ramapo, Secaucus and Upper Macungie, PA. Woodmont, well known for its transit-oriented development, has a development pipeline containing more than 3,000 apartments, 800 luxury homes and one million square feet of industrial space.

During the past seven years, the company has acquired, sold or constructed more than 4,600,000 square feet of industrial space in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Georgia and continues to actively seek acquisitions of existing buildings or land to develop.

Woodmont also owns and manages office buildings, retail space, hotels and four private recreational/golf and tennis clubs in New Jersey and Snowmass, Colorado.

In its continuing pursuit of new market opportunities, Woodmont recently entered the senior housing sector with plans to develop super luxury housing in the sectors of Active Adult, Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care in New Jersey.

Mr. Witmondt has been recognized by NJBIZ’s Power 50 ranking each year since 2010 and was recently honored as one of the top executives of the year.

David B. Grodnick is a Vice President and the North Atlantic Regional

Director for First American Title Insurance Company’s National

Commercial Services Division. He has been practicing real estate law

and has been engaged in the title insurance industry for over twenty-

five years.

Having presented and moderated numerous continuing legal education

seminars for the National Business Institute and the Mercer County Bar

Association, David has also been a guest speaker at the Kislak Real

Estate Institute of Monmouth University.

He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, the American Bar

Association, and is a Trustee of the Real Estate Board of Trustees of the

Mercer County Bar Association. He also serves on the Advisory Board

of Investors Bank.

David received his bachelor’s degree from Western Maryland College in

Westminster, Maryland and his Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University

School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut. He is admitted to practice law

in the State of New Jersey and in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Mimi took over and expanded this second-generation family business by building JDT Medical Rehab & JDT Medical Villa, two visionary state-of-the-art buildings for sub-acute, short-term care within a luxury, hotel-like environment.

Gabriel B. Shiff serves as chief operating officer of Roseland Residential Trust, a Mack-Cali company. Mr. Shiff is responsible for managing corporate and project-level analytics for Roseland, focusing on debt and equity financings (over $2 billion in financings since 2007), asset management activities, acquisitions and dispositions, and managing the division’s banking and investor relationships. In addition, Mr. Shiff oversees Roseland’s business plan, forecasting capital and operating needs as well as corresponding cash flow and value generation for the residential portfolio.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Shiff was at Bear, Stearns, & Company’s Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging (REGAL) Investment Banking Group.

Mr. Shiff received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Under Karim’s stewardship, Genesis has fostered community advancement through high-quality multifamily development in urban centers. Prior to founding Genesis, Karim was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs and an investor with General Atlantic, a private equity firm in Greenwich, Connecticut. Karim earned a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Amherst College. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School. A resident of Harlem, Karim serves as Treasurer of the Trustee Board of the First Corinthian Baptist Church, Trustee of the Citizens Budget Commission, Trustee of the Randall’s Island Park Alliance Board, Board Member of the Citizens Housing Planning Council, the New York State Association for Affordable Housing and a Member of the Leadership Council for Habitat for Humanity NYC. He is married to Luz Elena and has two daughters.
