Mazen is the Global Strategic Account Manager at Airthings. He is focused on bringing air quality solutions to facility managers, municipalities and building owners around the world so they can balance health and energy efficiency in their real estate portfolios. Passionate about "healthy buildings," Mazen is also a Well AP and Reset AP, which enables him to spend time supporting others in their journey to gain certifications and accreditations for their buildings.

Standing at the nexus of public health research and the places and spaces where we spend our lives, Whitney Austin Gray has become one of the leading global voices for improving our buildings and communities in ways that help people thrive. As senior vice president at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), she leads research that supports best practices in building design and operations, community development and organizational policies that can contribute to improved public health for everyone, everywhere. She led the development of the first case studies focused on the efficacy of the WELL Building Standard, helping to launch more than 100 educational sessions related to WELL in 25+ countries. Her lectures, webcasts, trainings and published works have touched tens of thousands design and health professionals worldwide, building a strong infrastructure of support for those who work to advance better buildings, vibrant communities and stronger organizations.

Prior to joining IWBI, Dr. Gray served as the health research and innovation director for Cannon Design, a global healthcare design firm, where she oversaw the company’s primary and secondary research, prototyping and innovation platforms. Before her tenure with Cannon Design, she led building science research at the MedStar Institute for Innovation. She holds dual appointments as an adjunct assistant professor at the Georgetown School of Nursing & Health Studies and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning.

She is the co-founder of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Health in Buildings Roundtable and an Advisory Board member at the Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures and the International Academy of Health and Design. She received her Ph.D. and BA in public health studies from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She was the first public health professional to become a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

Ian Mayhew is a member of Barings Real Estate, a global real estate platform with extensive investment capabilities across both debt and equity strategies. Ian is Managing Director and Head of UK Asset Management responsible for co-ordinating the asset management of Barings’ UK real estate portfolio. Ian has considerable experience of repositioning central London and regional multi-let offices through refurbishment and redevelopment ensuring that ESG principles are integrated throughout. [Prior to joining Barings in 2007, Ian was a senior asset manager at Derwent London plc, a FTSE 250 listed UK property company and real estate investment trust. Before joining Derwent London, he worked in the general practice and asset management divisions of global property advisers DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield) and CBRE. Ian is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Geography, and an MA degree from City University in Property Valuation and Law.]

Born in 1976 in Columbus, Georgia, married with 5 children, Kelly Russell Catella is Head of Sustainability &

Communication and Chairman of the Sustainable Innovation Committee of COIMA SGR. Prior to her current

role, she held the position of Communication, CSR and Marketing Director at Hines Italia SGR and gained

experience managing strategic communication, public relations and community engagement of the major

Porta Nuova urban regeneration project in the center of Milan.

Kelly Russell Catella is also General Manager of the Riccardo Catella Foundation, founded in 2005 to promote

best practices in the sustainable territorial development, with particular attention giving to social inclusion

in our cities and the global fight against climate change. Thanks to an innovative public-private collaboration

with the Municipality of Milan, since 2019 the Foundation is responsible for the maintenance and security of

BAM (Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano), the third urban public park in the city, and offering a cultural program

open to all citizens. Before the positions cited above, Kelly Russell Catella was regional coordinator for Urban

Land Institute in Italy.

Sustainability Officer of COIMA, UK Chartered Engineer (C.Eng. MCIBSE) and RICS member –(Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor), member of the Advisor Board of the DABC department of Politecnico of Milan. Stefano worked in London and Milan for global engineering consultant firms contributing to define the sustainability strategies of large urban regeneration projects, including Porta Nuova in Milan.

His passion on sustainability led him to further focus on Real Estate portfolio carbon emission analysis on behalf of investment funds in the UK and Italy, expanding his skills in Real Estate finance. At COIMA, he contributes to integrate environmental, social & governance (ESG) strategies and policies alongside the corporate functions, during the different phases of the investment lifecycle; from the acquisition, development, management and disinvestment.

Isabelle Ballet joined LaSalle in 2021 as a Sustainability Associate. Within this role, she is focused on driving asset-level sustainability initiatives. Her responsibilities include coordinating with asset management and property management teams on sustainability data tracking and project managing the implementation of green building certifications, energy audits, and on-site solar.

Isabelle joins LaSalle from RE Tech Advisors, where she was a senior consultant supporting the Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Initiative, the largest public-private partnership program focused on energy efficiency across the US built environment. She also supported commercial real estate clients with sustainability program development and implementation.

Isabelle graduated from Macalester College with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Geography.
