Amy is a commercial real estate developer with over 13 years of experience in ground-up development and strategic repositioning of existing assets, totaling approximately 2MM SF in office, retail and mixed-use. She is responsible for the entire life cycle of the development process including underwriting, negotiating contractual agreements, directing design teams and consultants, working with construction managers and contractors, marketing/PR and lease-up.

Amy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. After spending five years in private wealth management and traveling all over the world, Amy realized that commercial real estate development was her calling and earned a full-time MBA in Real Estate Finance and Development from the University of Texas at Austin.

Amy was recruited by Hines, specializing in mixed-use and office ground-up development. She also performed due diligence on acquisitions in the DFW metroplex in conjunction with the regional acquisitions team. Her favorite projects include a 450,000 SF office development located in Uptown Dallas and the predevelopment of Frisco Station, a 240-acre mixed-use development site. After nine years at Hines, she joined Regent Properties as Vice President to oversee their Dallas projects. She led the redevelopment of the former 85-acre Texas Instruments company headquarters and transformed it into a 1M SF multi-tenant corporate campus, complete with outdoor collaboration space, conference center, food-hall and wellness center.

Prior to joining M2G Ventures, Amy served as a Partner for Rebees. Rebees is a place creation company specializing in the development of retail mixed-use destinations and concepts. Amy oversaw Sugar Land Town Square which encompassed 250,000 SF of retail. Her focus was redesigning the ground-plane by revamping the landscape and storefront architecture and curating a culture-building tenant mix.

Walsh Companies

Ryan Dickerson of Walsh Companies is good to go for the June 21 State of Fort Worth event, too. Ryan would be best suited to speak to the high-level development opportunities available in West Fort Worth. As you likely know, the land held by Walsh Companies in West Fort Worth forms a gateway into the metroplex and was previously the site in final consideration for Rivian to build a large production facility and office. The area has zoning for mixed-use, corporate campus, industrial, and residential, at different points throughout the area.
