Allan Brown

Partner & Co-Founder

Prevarian Companies

Allan’s career in healthcare real estate began in 1992. He spent the first decade learning the "nuts and bolts" as an architect involved with all manner of inpatient and outpatient healthcare facilities.

Allan was fortunate to develop relationships and learn from smart people in healthcare around the country. As the industry underwent unprecedented change during the second decade of Allan's career, he was a student of healthcare services delivery. He recognized the impact that strategic real estate had on patient care and financial results in this rapidly-evolving asset class.

These experiences and relationships inform Prevarian's strategic direction, including post-acute care emphasis, market choices, building and operational programming decisions, and alignments and partnerships with hospitals and health systems.

Allan has an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Florida A&M University, a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development from the College of Business Administration at UTA. He and his family live in Dallas.

David Dillard

President

D2 Architecture

David’s contribution to senior living architecture started in Dallas in the 1990’s and accelerated greatly when he designed Edgemere in 1998. Since then he has designed one award-winning community after another. Although he is often on the dais of national and regional conventions (Leading Age, AIA, ULI, APA, Environments for Aging, et al) he has taken a life-long vow never to leave the drawing board.
