Weyen has been involved in the Real Estate industry for over 25 years and has served in multiple roles throughout those years from Regional Manager of Operations to Developer/Builder/Broker for new single-family and multi-family communities and now as Chief Construction and Development Officer for the largest privately held self-storage organization in the world. He has been part of the successful growth of StorageMart from 7 to over 300 locations is 3 countries, recently spearheading the acquisitions and re-branding for the takeover of Manhattan Mini Storage. Weyen serves on the Board of the California Self Storage Association and the National SSA Board as well where he is continuing the legacy started by his grandfather in the 1970’s.

Zachary Dickens

Zach Dickens has been with Extra Space Storage since 2002. He has served in various roles in the real estate department, beginning as an analyst to his present role as Chief Investment Officer for the company. Mr. Dickens has been instrumental in structuring transactions with Extra Space Storage’s partners and growing the Company’s Bridge Loan Program. Prior to joining Extra Space Storage, Mr. Dickens oversaw a Technical Support team at eBay, where he worked in the Half.com unit. Mr. Dickens has a Master's of International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, has an M.B.A. from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor’s in Russian Language from the University of Utah.

Nathan McElmurry

MD, Head of Self Storage Acquisitions

As Managing Director, Nathan oversees all acquisitions for InSite Property Group and its SecureSpace Self Storage brand. He has completed over 200 storage property transactions in his career and is a board member of the California Self Storage Association. Previously, he was a Senior VP at SmartStop Self Storage and a Director at GE Capital. Nathan graduated from Texas A&M University's Dwight Look College of Engineering and earned an MBA from the University of Texas' McCombs School of Business, with a focus on real estate finance. His free time is spent with family, pursuing anything outdoors-oriented, so long as no pavement is involved.

Sergio is Co-Founder and CEO of Hearthfire Holdings, a Real Estate Private Equity and Development firm with over $50MM in self storage assets under management. His personal and company track record includes 9 successful property exits with an average return of over 25% IRR. His storied career in central banking enables superior financial and investment competency to identify and profitably enter and exit real estate, equity, business positions, and ventures.

Sergio is a highly accomplished Technology Executive, Strategist, and Data Architect with an accredited track record of managing IT projects for the Federal Reserve System. He is an expert in analyzing business needs, performing gap analysis between goals and existing technology, and researching and recommending technological improvements. He has extensive experience in systems architecture, security, mobile computing and service management, and is an expert in security assessment, architecture, design, and compliance.

Through this experience, Sergio has developed strong leadership and interpersonal skills, financial and cash flow analysis, real estate underwriting, and investment crowdfunding. He is highly adept at diplomatically facilitating technical and business problem solving, public speaking, and negotiations with stakeholders. He has recognized project management skills, consistently delivering complex, high-visibility projects on time and within budget.

Michael Erceg

Michael Erceg serves as the Director of Operations for ARCO/Murray's nationwide self-storage division, where he has played a key role in leading the team to successfully construct over 140 projects and more than 15 million square feet. With over 11 years of experience in the industry, Michael has honed his expertise in construction management and strategic problem-solving, navigating the unique challenges within the self-storage market. Michael earned his Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering from Widener University, in his home state of Pennsylvania. In his free time, Michael enjoys fishing, visiting museums, reading, and spending family time with his wife and 2 dogs.

Tom specializes in the sale, development and disposition of self storage and industrial assets throughout the U.S. and has completed transactions totaling in excess of $450 million worth of consideration with recent closings in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, San Diego, Sacramento, San Jose/Silicon Valley and Washington State.

Tom is an SIOR designee. The SIOR designation stands unchallenged for excellence in the performance of real estate services, and is universally recognized as the prerequisite in the selection of a commercial real estate broker, agent, or consultant. Tom also has an MBA from Pepperdine University.
