Why You Can't Miss this Conversation

Why This Matters:

The OZ Frenzy returns.

First created as part of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the Opportunity Zone program was one of the most significant federal/bipartisan initiatives in decades to stimulate investment in underserved communities. By offering investors the ability to defer and reduce capital gains taxes, the program unlocked billions in private capital that flowed into commercial real estate projects nationwide. For many owners and developers, OZs provided the financial catalyst to take on projects that might not have been feasible otherwise, particularly in markets with lower investment visibility.

Today, as the commercial real estate industry faces heightened vacancies, shifting capital markets, and increased pressure to deliver both financial returns and social impact, understanding Opportunity Zones is more critical than ever. Tune into Bisnow's Opportunity Zone discussion to learn more about:

1. Exit Strategy & Tax Benefits

2. Capital Flow & Investor Appetite

3. Project Viability & Repositioning

4. Public-Private Partnerships

5. Long-Term Impact & Community Outcomes

Among other topics.

For owners, developers, and investors, the OZ program is no longer simply about tax deferrals—it is about how these tools can be leveraged to unlock deals in today’s constrained environment, reposition underutilized assets, and drive neighborhood revitalization while still delivering competitive returns. Tune in to learn more and come to the discussion with questions — our esteemed panel will be taking time to answer Audience Q+A to help our audience to better understand today's Opportunity Zone program.
