Eric Hage

Executive Vice President, Development

KDC

Eric Hage’s talent on the tennis court didn’t take him to Wimbledon, but it did pave the way to an internship with a general contractor. That internship led to a career in commercial construction and then eventually, his current position with KDC.

During one of Dallas’ sweltering summers, Eric was teaching youth tennis, where a student’s father suggested that Eric might want to consider an internship with a general contractor. He spent the next two summers interning with Turner Construction, and after graduating from college, he took on a full-time superintendent position with the Dallas-based general contractor.

Though Eric had initially planned to pursue law, the internship at Turner Construction changed his mind. “It was a revelation,” he says. “I realized how much I liked the construction industry and how much I didn’t want to sit in a law library for several years of my life.”

As an executive vice president of development for KDC, Eric has a wide range of responsibilities including business development, client management, and positioning and guiding the company’s team to ensure future success. The role leverages his deep knowledge of the Metroplex’s commercial real estate market, his affinity for relationship building, and his commitment to client service.
