Tim Relyea is Executive Vice Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. (C&W) and has been on the board of C&W, served on the Compensation Committee and currently serves on the Global Management Committee.

Mr. Relyea is one of the nation’s top real estate professionals. His real estate career began in 1978, and since that time Mr. Relyea has complete in excess of 60 million square feet of transactions for a total aggregate rental of more than $47 billion.

Mr. Relyea was one of the first employees hired by twin brothers Louis B. Cushman and John C. Cushman, III, following the formation of Cushman Realty Corporation in 1978. Located in the Houston office, he became Executive Vice President and the #1 producing broker in the 200-person firm. In 2001, Cushman Realty merged with Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., with Mr. Relyea being named Vice Chairman. Mr. Relyea has been Cushman & Wakefield’s top global office broker four times and its top overall broker on a global basis for three different years.

Mr. Relyea won the “Office Leasing Broker of the Year” award from the Houston Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) in both 1991 and 2002. He is also in the Houston (NAIOP) Hall of Fame.

John L. Zogg, Jr. serves as managing director for Crescent Real Estate Equities, LLC. Mr. Zogg manages the leasing efforts in the Dallas and Houston markets of over 2,300,000 square feet.

Mr. Zogg serves on the board of various local civic organizations including Executive Committees of Uptown Public Improvement District, Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, Downtown Dallas and The Rise School of Dallas. He is a member of The Dallas Assembly, Urban Land Institute, City Center Tax Incentive Finance District, as well as the Downtown Connection Tax Incentive Finance District. Mr. Zogg is vice chairman of the AT&T Cotton Bowl and a founding member of the Advisory Council to the Center for Real Estate Finance at the University of Texas at Austin, Business School. In 2002, Mayor Laura Miller appointed Mr. Zogg to the Dallas Inside the Loop Committee. Mr. Zogg was named #1 Office Leasing Agent in Dallas/Fort Worth by the Dallas Business Journal in 1995 and again in 1996.

Mr. Zogg joined Crescent Real Estate Equities as vice president of leasing and marketing in May of 1994. In 2004, he was promoted to managing director in Crescent’s Dallas Region. Mr. Zogg served as managing director until Crescent was sold to Morgan Stanley in 2007. Prior to rejoining Crescent, Mr. Zogg worked at Silverstone Capital Group.

From January 1989 to May 1994, Mr. Zogg served as vice president of the commercial real estate group for Rosewood Property Company, responsible for marketing and leasing office space in the Dallas and Denver areas. Prior to joining Rosewood, he worked as marketing manager of Gerald D. Hines Interests.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Mr. Zogg holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Dallas.

Jan Trevino

Director of Leasing, Greater SW Region

Jan Trevino began serving as GSA's Director of the Leasing for the Public Buildings Service (PBS), Greater Southwest Region, on July 8, 2007. Ms. Trevino leads a staff of ~130 employees responsible for the acquisition and delivery of leased space housing federal agencies throughout Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Ms. Trevino and her team manage expirations of a lease portfolio of ~1,000 leases, containing 18.4 million rsf of space and commanding annual rental payments of $452 million. In response to upcoming expirations or new requirements, Ms. Trevino and her team confirm continuing space requirements and the market’s ability to respond to them; develop acquisition plans and project schedules; and acquire leased space mostly through competitive procurement processes following Federal acquisition regulations to ensure that GSA provides needed space at the best value to the American taxpayer.

Previously, Ms. Trevino served five years as a PBS Service Center Manager responsible for managing real estate acquisition, property and occupancy management, financial and portfolio management (including repair and alterations), community relations and related budgets and financial performance in a specified geographic area. As the DFW Service Center Manager, Ms. Trevino managed 8.2 million square feet of GSA controlled property in the Dallas, Fort Worth and West Texas areas. In doing so, Ms. Trevino formulated and executed related budgets of approximately $17 million annually for building operations (cleaning, utilities, maintenance, etc), $3.7 million annually for personnel cost and over $4 million annually for building repairs and alterations. Likewise, Ms. Trevino managed a similar but smaller portfolio when assigned to the New Mexico Service Center.

Ms. Trevino joined GSA Office of Finance in June of 1988, where she served 11 plus years as an Accountant and Supervisory Accountant. Ms. Trevino served GSA building and technology programs nationwide in the areas of budgeting, reimbursable work, outleasing and accounts payable (leases, utilities, O&M and construction). Upon joining GSA PBS in 1999, Ms. Trevino served as a Regional Financial Program Expert for two years, during which time she initiated the nationwide sharing of reimbursable work authorization data with customer agencies via an internet web search and educated the region on GSA and PBS’s overhead allocation processes.

Ms. Trevino earned a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington, is a licensed CPA (TX 062598) and previously earned and held the industry designation of Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM). Additionally, Ms. Trevino holds these Federal Acquisition Certifications: Program/ Project Management Level III, Contracting Officer Representative Level III and Real Property Leasing Level III.

Ms. Trevino has passion and skill for gaining efficiencies by equipping and encouraging others to communicate effectively so as to collaboratively create order, gain shared expectations and create trust.

Kevin has overall responsibility for Transwestern’s Southwest operations, which includes the Houston region. In this role, he works with our real estate professionals to create multi-disciplined, strategic solutions to complex real estate problems for Transwestern clients. Kevin also serves on Transwestern’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

During his 35-year career with Transwestern, Kevin has been instrumental in the repositioning and growth of the firm’s third-party service business in the Southwest. Under his direction, the Southwest operation has grown to more than 85 million square feet of managed and leased commercial properties.

Kevin began his Transwestern career as an office leasing agent in Houston, Texas, which allows him to bring a unique perspective to his leadership role. He was instrumental in the success of the Houston high-rise office leasing efforts, completing numerous anchor transactions and onboarding significant management and leasing engagements.

Prior to joining Transwestern, Kevin worked for Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.

Mrs. Flowers has 25 years of experience in commercial real estate

including asset management from acquisition to disposition. Before

joining Billingsley, she was Senior Vice President and Acquisitions

Officer at Valencia Capital Management and before that Managing

Director responsible for the Asset Services Group for Cushman &

Wakefield in Dallas. This role included project leasing, property

management and facility management for more than 19 million

square feet with properties located throughout the U.S.

Prior to her time with Cushman & Wakefield, Mrs. Flowers was a

Vice President at the Archon Group (a Goldman Sachs Company)

and was responsible for the dispositions and operations of the

commercial asset management group. This included more than 180

commercial assets located throughout the United States totaling

over 32 million square feet and dispositions totaling more than 2.5

billion.

Mrs. Flowers earned her Bachelor of Arts from Western State

College in 1982. She graduated with honors from the University of

Dallas with a Masters of Business Administration in 1985.

development opportunities. Prior to joining TIER REIT, Mr. Jardine worked at Sarofim Realty Advisors for

During his tenure at Sarofim, he was involved in the acquisition, development, redevelopment, and

disposition of numerous projects across the country. Previously, Mr. Jardine worked for Highgate

Holdings and Archon Group in a variety of acquisition, asset management and portfolio management

roles. He is a member of NAIOP where he sits on the Office Acquisitions Forum and he is a member of

Adam Jackson is Stream’s Chief Investment Officer and responsible for managing four opportunistic discretionary funds totaling over $1.5 billion of equity. Adam leads a cross-functional team of professionals located at the company’s headquarters in Dallas, as well as providing strategic direction to hundreds of professionals in the firm’s 15 local offices.

Adam is responsible for the design and execution of the strategic direction and initiatives of Stream’s Investment Platform. These responsibilities include directing the company’s investment activities, managing Stream’s fully discretionary investment funds, and the origination of key partner relationships. Since joining Stream in 2008, Adam has led approximately $4 Billion of acquisitions and developments totaling 30 million square feet.

Given his network based on 18+ years of industry experience, Adam also plays an integral role in attracting new talent to join the organization.

Prior to joining Stream, Adam worked at HFF, LP, where he specialized in arranging acquisition and development debt/equity financing, as well as investment sales totaling over $1 Billion in transactions. Upon graduating from Texas A&M University with a BBA and MS in Accounting, Adam began his professional career at Ernst & Young in their audit and advisory practice.

spans more than two decades, Brokaw has managed leasing transactions

Traci Wilson is a Project Manager for DPR Construction’s Special Services Group (SSG) - a group dedicated to fast-track, mid-size projects such as renovations, upgrades and remodels.

Growing up in Montgomery, Texas, Traci spent her childhood around home construction projects with her dad who was a superintendent for a local home builder. She went on to earn a Building Construction degree from the University of Florida. Prior to joining DPR, Traci held roles at MYCON General Contractors, Scott & Reid General Contractors, Inc, Prologis and Turner Construction. Now, 10 years into her career, Traci has worked with notable clients such as the Bank of America, LA Fitness, Infomart, McKesson and BlueCross BlueShield.

As a Project Manager for the SSG, Traci has overall responsibility for project success. She is directly responsible for day-to-day management of the project team and uses her expertise during all phases of procurement and construction to provide planning, schedule development, and budget control. Traci serves as the primary point of contact for all aspects of the project.

Traci is uniquely suited for her position because DPR’s Special Services Group (SSG) expertly matches individual talent with project requirements, helping to ensure project success regardless of size or scope.

Bill Cawley served as the 2020 Chairman of TREC (The Real Es-

tate Council) and is a past board member of NTCAR. Bill is an ac-

tive member of ULI (Urban Land Institute) and serves on the SMU

COX Folsom Institute for Real Estate Advisory Board. In addition to

his industry related committee positions, Bill supports numerous

charitable organizations.

Patricia Gibson

Patricia is a founding principal and CEO of Banner Oak Capital Partners. She oversees all investment activity and is responsible for establishing and implementing the firm’s strategic direction.

Before founding Banner Oak, Patricia was the president of Hunt Realty Investments, where she led the commercial real estate investment management activities for the Hunt family of companies. She was responsible for the growth of an extensive and diverse portfolio of direct-owned strategic assets, along with operating companies and joint ventures totaling over $3 billion in gross asset value across the United States. During her tenure, she drove the growth of a strategic venture with a major pension fund dedicated to investments in real estate operating platforms, spanning a variety of product types and geographic locations. Before joining Hunt, Ms. Gibson held senior positions at Goldman Sachs’ real estate subsidiary, where she oversaw portfolio management and the capital market efforts for over $4 billion in commercial real estate assets. She began her real estate investment career in 1985 at The Travelers Realty Investment Company, where she spent nine years on the debt and equity side of the business.

Patricia is a member of the board of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers and previously served as its chairman. She is vice chairman of the Industrial and Office Parks Council of ULI. She is a member of the executive council of the University of Texas Real Estate Finance Council and on the board of directors of The Real Estate Council of Dallas. She is on the board of directors of Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, a private investment company focused on energy and real estate. She is also a director of RLJ Lodging Trust. Patricia holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a BS in finance from Fairfield University and is a chartered financial analyst.

He also focuses on development, leasing and growth opportunities for the Dallas office. Prior to joining Granite, Greg was vice president of business development and corporate marketing of Paric Corporation, a design build and construction firm where he also served on the Executive Committee. Previously he was a senior associate with CB Richard Ellis and a national sales representative for IBM Corporation. Greg served as a past president and is a current board member of the NAIOP Corporate. He is a board member of The Real Estate Council and member of Downtown Dallas, the Dallas Chamber of Commerce, a board member of Plano Economic Development Board and Stars Children\'s Charities. He is a general associate of SIOR and CCIM designee.

Greg received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his MBA from the University of Dallas.

Mr. De La Vega has more than 25 years of experience in the entrepreneurial and real estate industry, with a focus on single-tenant, multi-tenant retail centers and mixed-use developments. He brings a versatile and deep knowledge of development, master planning, entitlements, construction and capital markets to every project.

Mr. De La Vega has successfully invested, acquired, developed or redeveloped more than 100 commercial real estate projects throughout the world. Some of his more notable projects include the 900,000 square-foot Las Palmas Marketplace in El Paso, TX; the 900,000-square-foot Canyon West in Lubbock, TX; the 400,000-square-foot Kings Crossing in Shreveport, LA; as well as multiple industrial distribution and manufacturing facilities for clients such as Chrysler, General Motors, Alcoa, Yazaki, Bergamasca and more.

As a recognized leader in the commercial real estate industry, Mr. De La Vega frequently serves as a panelist for many leadership and future vision summits. He is also a guest columnist for a variety of publications and active with several professional organizations, including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and The Real Estate Council (TREC). In addition, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Chancellor’s Council of the University of Texas System, is a board member and donor to the FEMAP Foundation, and a proud donor and supporter of the Artemio De La Vega Scholarship Fund for the benefit of Hispanic students at the University of Texas, El Paso.

Paula Beasley helps clients reach their real estate goals. In that regard, Ms. Beasley provides counseling and facilitates negotiations for clients involved in sales and acquisitions of real estate. Commercial landlords and tenants value her extensive experience with lease negotiations. Owners and management companies of multi-family housing, including HUD-subsidized and affordable housing properties, make up a large portion of her client base, and she provides legal services and expertise on a variety of issues including evictions, vendor disputes and defense of fair housing complaints.

Paula is an Adjunct Professor at SMU Cox School of Business, where she teaches real estate law. She is currently President of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Dallas. Ms. Beasley has been named to the lists of “Best Women Lawyers in Dallas” and “Best Lawyers in Dallas under 40” by D Magazine. She is an active member of Park Cities Baptist Church.

Mr. Merz is a senior vice president and asset manager for KBS Realty

Advisors and its affiliate KBS Capital Advisors.

As a part of the Central Region team, Mr. Merz serves as the market leader

responsible for carrying out investment objectives in the Dallas Ft. Worth

area on behalf of KBS REIT, pension fund and sovereign wealth fund clients.

Within these markets, Mr. Merz is responsible for execution of strategic

business plans for each owned property with a focus on achieving cash flow

yields, occupancy and leasing, the overall performance of the assets, as

well as identifying new acquisitions and dispositions. His portfolio consists of

nine assets containing approximately 3.1 million square feet plus a 309 unit

multi-family development. Prior to being assigned the Dallas/Ft. Worth area,

Mr. Merz had similar responsibilities in other markets throughout the central

region including Chicago, St. Louis and Kansas City among others.

Prior to KBS, Mr. Merz worked with CBRE and The Staubach Company, and

most recently he was a senior vice president at Cresa Orange County. There

he consulted for both local and national clients on a wide variety of strategic

real estate objectives. Mr. Merz completed his Bachelor of Science degree

in business administration and finance with an emphasis in real property

management and development from the University of Southern California.

Mary Burke Baker is a government affairs counselor in the Washington, D.C. office where she leads the tax policy practice. Mary focuses on federal tax matters affecting businesses, including domestic and multinational corporations and all types of pass-through entities, and individuals. Her practice covers tax policy, tax reform, regulatory and other guidance, tax administration, and technical tax issues, with particular emphasis on corporate and pass-through issues, accounting methods, information reporting, Reports of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR) compliance, and emerging cryptocurrency issues. Since enactment of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) in December, 2017, Mary has particularly focused on the Opportunity Zone program and is a frequent speaker on the topic throughout the United States.

Mary advocates on behalf of clients and consults with and advises Congressional, U.S. Treasury, and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) staff on numerous domestic and international tax and tax policy issues, including the new Opportunity Zone program, implementation of business and individual provisions in the TCJA, and emerging cryptocurrency tax compliance concerns. She stays abreast of current tax policy developments on Capitol Hill and around the world and keeps clients informed with timely, relevant, and informative updates, including political insights and analysis regarding the significance of these developments. She helps clients identify and assess risks and opportunities in the ever-changing legislative and regulatory environment and develops and executes strategies to achieve desired legislative and administrative outcomes. She offers technical analysis and drafts comment letters in response to regulatory projects, working groups, and other tax policy initiatives. During the multi-year tax reform debate, Mary lead the Cash to Accrual Coalition and the Like-kind Exchange Coalition. She serves on the steering committee of the LIFO Coalition. She assists individual taxpayers who are participating in the IRS Offshore Voluntary Compliance Program to comply with FBAR and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) filing requirements.

Mary serves on the Board of Directors of the Real Tax Policy Group, which features biweekly sessions with top Administration and Congressional tax officials. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Time of Grace, an international media ministry.
