Craig Hall is an entrepreneur, New York Times best-selling author and philanthropist. He formed

HALL Group in 1968, and today the company is made up of multiple brands, including HALL

Park, HALL Arts and HALL Structured Finance in Dallas, and HALL, WALT and BACA Wines in

California. The company’s interests range from real estate development, ownership and

management to financial lending and winemaking. He is the author of six published books with

one releasing on May 14, 2019, titled “BOOM: Bridging the Opportunity Gap to Reignite

Startups.”

Hall’s career has reflected the highest qualities of entrepreneurship and philanthropy, and he

actively contributes time and resources at all levels to support community causes with an

emphasis on art, education and entrepreneurship. Together with his wife Kathryn Hall, he

funded the ‘Fulbright—Kathryn and Craig Hall Distinguished Chair for Entrepreneurship’ to

teach entrepreneurship in Eastern Europe. Hall also founded the Dallas regional office of the

Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).

In 2007, Hall was named a lifetime member of the prestigious Horatio Alger Association for

Distinguished Americans and was inducted into the North Texas Commercial Real Estate Hall of

Fame and the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas’ Ring of Honor. He was named the

2013 Dallas Real Estate Executive of the Year and in 2016, he was inducted into the Junior

Achievement of Dallas Business Hall of Fame. Most recently, Craig and his wife Kathryn were

co-awarded the 2017 Master Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Southwest Region from

the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program.

Michael W. Dardick is a founding partner and CEO of Granite Properties, Inc. Granite Properties is a privately held commercial real estate investment and management company with offices in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Houston and Los Angeles. Since 1991, Granite Properties has acquired or developed over 25 million square feet of commercial real estate in excess of $7 billion.

Prior to founding Granite Properties, Michael was in banking, most recently serving as a Senior Vice President at a JPMorgan/Chase predecessor running the Foreclosed Real Estate Division.

Adam Saphier serves as President, Central Operations for Trammell Crow Company where he oversees the firm’s national Capital Markets Group as well as the Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston Business Units including all development and acquisition projects, new business pursuits, finance and operations. Lucy Burns began her career at Lehman Brothers in New York City where she worked in Private Client Services. From there she transitioned into real estate as the head of investments for Groupe Arnault in the United States. In 2006 Lucy joined The Ratkovich Company in Los Angeles where she managed the renovation of a 500,000 square foot high rise on Wilshire Boulevard. The role involved oversight and management of the complete replacement of the building’s central plant, asbestos abatement, common area upgrades and a $5 million lobby renovation. Mrs. Burns also handled lease negotiation, asset positioning, partnership relationships, and property management. n 2008 Lucy entered the family real estate business, where she manages Billingsley Company’s office and single-family property portfolios. “It is a thrill as a parent to see your child as a talent. Mike Berry leads two separate divisions of Hillwood, serving as president of Hillwood Properties and president of the recently formed Hillwood Urban. In his role at Hillwood Properties, he leads development efforts for AllianceTexas, an 18,000-acre development that is recognized as one of the most unique master-planned communities in the United States. With 34 years of commercial real estate development experience, Berry oversees all management, operations and transactions for the development and serves as the company’s representative to its public-

sector partners. Under his leadership, AllianceTexas, which encompasses more than 43 million square feet, over 470 corporate residents, 47,500 plus employees and 10,000 single-family homes, has become a dynamic, diversified and highly successful community surpassing $64 billion in economic impact to the North Texas region since its establishment in 1989. Beyond his efforts at AllianceTexas, in 2014 Berry and the Hillwood Properties team announced the launch of Frisco Station, a 242-acre high-density mixed-use development in Frisco, Texas, in partnership with VanTrust Real Estate and The Rudman Partnership. In his role with Hillwood Urban, Berry is building on the strength of a diverse and trusted group of Hillwood executives and development professionals to launch a corporate office and mixed-use division for the company. Before founding QIP, Chad was Vice President, Acquisitions for Hillwood Investment Properties, where, from 2004 to 2012, he focused on development and acquisition opportunities in numerous markets nationally. In addition to helping lead the company’s acquisition team Chad coordinated over $1 billion in dispositions. He also played an integral role in the sourcing and structuring of numerous institutional joint ventures and development partnerships. Prior to joining Hillwood, Chad was a Director of Leasing and Dispositions with Emerson Partners, a Dallas based owner and operator of office and industrial properties.

Prior to forming HPI in 1992, Dick spent five years at Trammell Crow Company in Austin, Texas. Dick joined Trammell Crow as an intern and within one year he was promoted to marketing representative. Crow promoted Dick to marketing director of its industrial division before his departure in 1992. Dick is an active member of the Austin community.

Andrew Segal formed Boxer Property Management Corporation in September 1992. The foundation of the company was to explore the world of acquisition, management, leasing, and administering commercial office buildings. Under his oversight, the company has successfully reached into industries as diverse as resort hotels, retail centers, and other real estate businesses, accounting for over 15 million square feet of space across seven states, including New York, Connecticut, and Texas.

Andrew received his B.A. from the University of Southern California. He attended the New York University School of Law. He graduated with a Juris Doctor in 1992. He sits on several boards, including the Kinkaid School and the New York University Law School.

Jeff is a Project Executive at DPR Construction in the Dallas-Fort Worth office, with over 24 years of construction industry expertise. His background provides a balance of private and public sector residential, hospitality and commercial developments, including The Union Dallas, Factory Six03, and Capital One. In his role, Jeff delivers projects successfully by combining strategy, direction and highly motivated leadership with experience, organization, passion and dedication. He oversees commercial and corporate office projects, and guides ongoing preconstruction process and strategic client partnerships. Prior to joining DPR Construction, Jeff was an integral team member at a large general contractor, where he worked on many iconic projects in the Dallas area such as the Perot Museum, the Gaylord Texan Resort, the Omni Dallas Convention Center Hotel and One Arts Plaza. He recently served on the Real Estate Council Foundation Board and chaired its Professional Services Committee.

John C. Goff is a private investor based in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Goff co-founded Crescent Real Estate with Richard Rainwater in the early 90s, designing the strategy and orchestrating the acquisitions leading to its initial public offering in May 1994. Under his leadership as Vice Chairman and CEO, Crescent grew from approximately $500 million at its IPO to $6.5 billion upon its sale to Morgan Stanley in August 2007. Crescent provided its shareholders a 15.4 percent compounded annual return and more than $2.5 billion in cash dividends during its 13 years as a public company. In November 2009, Mr. Goff reacquired Crescent in a partnership with Barclays Capital, where he now serves as Chairman and CEO. Corbett earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and his MBA from Houston Baptist University in Houston, TX. Mr. Chismark is a Partner with Morrison & Head, a Texas based property tax consulting, due diligence and appeals practice. He oversees the Dallas office working with institutional owners of commercial real estate through acquisition, development and property tax protests. Mr. Chismark’s team represents $14.5 Billion in commercial real estate in DFW. Morrison & Head is the fastest growing tax consulting practice in Texas and was recently named one of DFW’s 100 fastest growing companies for 2020. Ryan grew up in Syracuse, NY before relocating to Texas in 2012. He lives in Dallas with his wife Chelsea and his labradoodle Dwight.

After graduating from Ithaca College in 2013 with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, Adam Wacenske moved to New York City to pursue a marketing career for a hotel chain - until he ran into WeWork CEO Adam Nuemann. It only took one visit to a WeWork location in New York City to convince him to change his career path. Starting as a Front Desk Associate, Adam has worked his way through the company. He worked on WeWork’s Labs program where he helped early start-ups, managed properties in New York City, and launched new locations in Los Angeles, London, Tel Aviv, and all across the southern region of the U.S. As General Manager, Adam is responsible for WeWork’s performance in the southern region of the U.S.

As the Head of Operations for WeWork’s Southern region, which includes Texas, Georgia,

Florida, Missouri, North Carolina and Tennessee, Nathan Lenahan manages Facilities, Security,

IT, Hospitality and Business Operations. He came to WeWork in 2016 after launching and

selling a real-estate and property management company, Redleg Property Group. Before

launching his business, Nathan served as a Facility Manager at Lockheed Martin. Nathan

Lenahan also serves in the Texas Army National Guard in Austin, Texas, as a Field Artillery

platoon sergeant and has completed two combat tours to Iraq with over 13 years of service.

Nathan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with an MBA and received a B.S. in

Facility & Property Management from BYU. Nathan now lives in the DFW area with his wife and

the next generation of entrepreneurs, his four children.

John L. Zogg, Jr. serves as managing director for Crescent Real Estate Equities, LLC. Mr. Zogg manages the leasing efforts in the Dallas and Houston markets of over 2,300,000 square feet.

Mr. Zogg serves on the board of various local civic organizations including Executive Committees of Uptown Public Improvement District, Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, Downtown Dallas and The Rise School of Dallas. He is a member of The Dallas Assembly, Urban Land Institute, City Center Tax Incentive Finance District, as well as the Downtown Connection Tax Incentive Finance District. Mr. Zogg is vice chairman of the AT&T Cotton Bowl and a founding member of the Advisory Council to the Center for Real Estate Finance at the University of Texas at Austin, Business School. In 2002, Mayor Laura Miller appointed Mr. Zogg to the Dallas Inside the Loop Committee. Mr. Zogg was named #1 Office Leasing Agent in Dallas/Fort Worth by the Dallas Business Journal in 1995 and again in 1996.

Mr. Zogg joined Crescent Real Estate Equities as vice president of leasing and marketing in May of 1994. In 2004, he was promoted to managing director in Crescent’s Dallas Region. Mr. Zogg served as managing director until Crescent was sold to Morgan Stanley in 2007. Prior to rejoining Crescent, Mr. Zogg worked at Silverstone Capital Group.

David Kahn is a Managing Analyst for CoStar Group, concentrating on the Southern United States. David serves as the resident expert on the South, covering regional economic and real estate trends. A voracious reader, Christopher stays abreast of business trends and context; and, as a result, his designs anticipate future challenges and seamlessly bridge today’s needs with evolving workplace expectations. An advocate for true sustainability in our homes, workplaces and neighborhoods, he is a founding member of the North Texas Collaborative of the Living Building Challenge – the most advanced measure of sustainability in the built environment today. Christopher earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Texas.
