As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Netherlands, I am responsible for the strategic direction and sustainable growth of the company and our employees. I am well-versed in the Dutch real estate market and recognized for my leadership qualities and ability to grow companies. I joined Colliers on January 1, 2025.

With over 25 years of experience in real estate, I have collaborated with numerous international clients investing in retail, office, residential, and industrial properties across the Netherlands. I have been involved in over 200 transactions, with a total volume exceeding 5 billion euros. I also played a major role in solving many relevant social real estate issues and supervising and managing mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining Colliers, I served as the Head of Cushman & Wakefield in the Netherlands. I joined the company as a Partner in September 2007, after four years at Troostwijk Makelaars, where I established a Capital Markets team in the Netherlands. Prior to that, I spent four years as a real estate developer for Ballast Nedam N.V.

I hold a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Groningen, with a specialization in Real Estate from the University of Amsterdam. Throughout my career, I have worked with several organizations in the real estate sector, specializing in offices, retail, and portfolio transaction management. I thrive on tackling projects that are considered impossible to deliver.

Ingeborg Wind-Middel

MODERATOR

Greenberg Traurig

Ingeborg focuses on public law.

She advises and represents public authorities - including provinces, municipalities, and the national government - as well as private parties, including developers, investors, and institutions mainly in the real estate, energy and infrastructure sector. With a strong understanding of political and administrative dynamics, she navigates complex regulatory frameworks and decision-making procedures.

Her work spans administrative law, i.e. environmental law and nature protection. She has in-depth experience in spatial planning, renewable energy, land use, area and species protection, compensation for damages, subsidies, environmental regulation and compliance and other regulatory topics. A defining feature of Ingeborg’s practice is legal project management. She plays a key role in coordinating the legal aspects of complex projects related to the physical living environment – not only in real estate development (such as area development) but also in broader societal challenges such as the nitrogen reduction, the housing crises, and the energy transition. She seeks to ensurethat legal frameworks are properly integrated into public and private projects that must meet high administrative, environmental, and spatial planning standards.

In all her work Ingeborg strives for sustainable, long-term solutions that are both legally robust and socially responsible. She is valued for her ability to provide clarity and structure in politically sensitive and legally complex processes.

Ingeborg also represents clients in administrative proceedings, including cases before the Council of State and the Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal. In addition, she regularly teaches and publishes on public and environmental law topics.
