Johannes Fruehauf (MD PhD)With his background as a physician working in diverse health systems, coupled with 20+ years as a serial biotech entrepreneur, Dr. Fruehauf has dedicated much of his professional endeavors to supporting life science entrepreneurs and start-upcompanies. Dr. Fruehauf is currently General Partner and co-founder of Mission BioCapital (MBC). In his role at MBC, Johannes sources, diligences, and leads new life-science investment transactions and represents thefund on the board of a number of MBC portfolio companies.

He is also the Founder and President of LabCentral andBioLabs, the largest provider of laboratory co-working space for startups nationwide, currently serving over 300 startups in 14 cities. Over the past three years, the companies started within this network secured over 20% of all Seed and Series A venture capital invested in life sciences in the US.

Johannes studied medicine in Germany and France, while also conducting field work in Africa (Zimbabwe and Guinea). Thereafter, he practiced medicine (internal medicine and OB/Gyn) for several years in Germany before coming to Boston for a post-doc at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School.Johannes graduated from University of Frankfurt and received his doctorate from the University of Heidelberg. He is also the author of over 30 peer reviewed publications and is named inventor on 9 issued patents on drug delivery and RNAi-based therapeutics.

Jason Kaufman is Senior Vice President of Investments & Development at Silverstein Properties, Inc., member of the Investment Committee, co-founder of Silverstein Capital Partners and head of the Opportunity Zone Fund. He is responsible for acquisitions, capital markets and real estate development activities totaling over $10 billion across product types globally. Prior to joining Silverstein, Mr. Kaufman was the Director of Acquisitions & Asset Management at Jadam Equities Ltd, a family office with $3 billion under management and also worked for Newmark Knight Frank in Financial Services underwriting leasing and investment sales transactions. He started his career at Pricewaterhouse Coopers as a real estate consultant for REITs and lenders of single-asset CMBS securitizations.

Mr. Kaufman attended the Ross School at the University of Michigan and earned a BBA with a concentration in Real Estate Finance. He subsequently earned a Certificate in Building Construction Technology from the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate and an Advanced Certificate in Housing, Urban Policy & Planning from the Robert F Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University.

Mr. Kaufman is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute as a leadership chairperson of the national Urban Development and Mixed-Use Council (Blue Flight), member of the New York development council, and a member of the Urban Land Institute NEXT steering committee nationally. He keeps close ties with his alma matter as an Advisory Board Member of the Ross Business School Real Estate Investment Fund and is the founding member of the University of Michigan Real Estate Group in New York. Mr. Kaufman is also a Greater NY advisor to the President of the Prospect Park Alliance, and a member of the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he is active in the Center’s Career Mentor Program.

Mr. Ricciardelli founded SelecTech in 1993 with the mission of creating valuable products from recycled materials. He has over 20 years’ experience with developing unique polymer blends to meet demanding technical requirements and holds several patents for products and processes using recycled materials. He was the first to conceive of and develop an adhesive-free, interlocking static-control flooring system which paved the way for the StaticStop line of industry-leading ESD flooring products.

Mr. Ricciardelli has an MBA from the Sloan School of Business Management and an MS degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT. Prior to founding SelecTech, he managed the design, installation, and startup of a $5 million facility to recover and recycle plastics from medical waste. Mr. Ricciardelli also worked at the Business Development Group at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., and as an environmental consultant with HMM Associates.

Adam Knobloch has been involved in the commercial real estate event and media space since 2010, having held roles in sales, account management, production and coordination. He joined Bisnow Media as the Global Director of Data Centers after having led event sales and strategy efforts in the CRE space for nearly a decade. Since 2012, he has found a significant passion for the data center and technology sectors, while building an international network of active followers across numerous asset classes in the US, UK, Canada and Ireland. In his current role, Adam oversees Bisnow Media's event and sponsored media strategy for the data center sector, having expanded its Datacenter Investment Conference & Expo (DICE) Series event offerings to more than 15 markets, with an international presence in the UK and Canada.

He previously held a board member role on the Telecom Exchange (TEX) Advisory Board, collaborating on content, speaker recommendations and event strategy. Additionally, he has made a point of promoting local and national organizations with a focus on STEM education and advancing the next generation into the technology sector through support, collaboration and ambassadorship. Notable organizations include the Nomad Futurist Academy, Infrastructure Masons, H5 Data Centers' STEM Fest and local chapters of both 7X24 Exchange and AFCOM.

In his personal life, Adam is a musician, having toured the east coast as the drummer of The Gantry. He was a frequent member of the NYC folk/indie rock music scene and is currently the drummer for A.M. County.

Adam holds a Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration from American University's Kogod School of Business, with a focus on Marketing and Public Relations.
