Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth

Joseph DeLeon became president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth in

January 2018. He joined the team at Texas Health Resources in Fort Worth in 2005 and in

addition to serving at Texas Health Fort Worth for 13 years he was the President at Texas

Health Southwest Fort Worth from 2013 through 2017. He has led the expansion of Texas

Health Fort Worth’s physical plant with the addition of the Jane and John Justin Tower

(427,000 sf), the implementation of the hospital’s first Graduate Medical Education

programs in General Surgery and Internal Medicine, and the Level 1 Trauma Center

designation. Since leading Texas Health Fort Worth in 2018 the hospital has grown annual

operating revenue by 43%.

In January 2013, DeLeon was named president of Texas Health Southwest. Under his

leadership, Texas Health Southwest achieved the Truven 100 Top Hospital four years in a row

and the Pinnacle of Excellence Award for Patient Experience from Press Ganey. The Texas

Health Southwest leadership team also worked to bring Texas Health Clearfork online and

become a joint replacement destination center in North Texas.

DeLeon is an active leader in the community, serving as chairman of the boards of Texas

Rehabilitation Hospital and the Tarrant County March of Dimes, American Heart

Association, and on the boards of North Texas Community Foundation and the Healthy

Tarrant County Collaboration. He previously served as Chair of the Fort Worth Hispanic

Chamber of Commerce. DeLeon has been recognized many times for his leadership of the

hospital, including a 2017 Minorities in Business Award from the Fort Worth Business

Press. He is a former captain of the United States Air Force Medical Services Corps and

has served in health care management since 1991. A graduate of Leadership North Texas,

Leadership Fort Worth and Leadership Bryan-College Station, DeLeon was previously

named to the Fort Worth Business Press 40 under 40 and holds a Certificate of Leader

Development from the U.S. Army War College Commandant's National Security Program.

Pamela Stoyanoff

President – Chief Operating Officer

Methodist Health System

Pamela Stoyanoff, MBA, CPA, and FACHE is currently President and Chief

Operating Officer for the 12 hospital Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas. In that role she leads strategic planning for the system and provides operational leadership for its hospitals, joint ventures, and medical group. She is passionate about the Quadruple Aim and improving health by leading efforts that help to reduce health disparities.

Pam has been a member of numerous Boards including the Dallas-Fort-Worth

Hospital Council Education and Foundation Board, the Texas Hospital Association Board of Directors, the American Hospital Association Regional Policy Board, and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Finance Committee.

Prior to coming to Dallas, Pam was the Chief Financial Officer for the St. Vincent Health System (4 hospitals) in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois and began her career at Arthur Anderson & Co.

Pam has her BS in Business Administration with a major in Accounting, is a CPA and has her Masters degree from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Pam has spoken around the country on many topics including revenue cycle

management, robotics, cost reduction strategies, and diversity in healthcare supply

procurement.

She has been voted one of the top “100 Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know” by Becker’s Hospital Review, one of the top 25 Women in Business in Dallas/Ft. Worth by the Dallas Business Journal, and was also selected by the Dallas Business Journal, as a Health Care Hero (in recognition of contributions toward improving healthcare in North Texas). Pam is currently a finalist for DCEO magazine’s Excellence in Healthcare Awards, in the Hospital Executive of the Year category.

Dave Cutlip is a Senior Preconstruction Director for McCarthy Building Companies. In his role of Senior

Preconstruction Director, Dave is responsible for leading teams through the design and construction of

major projects, works alongside top leadership, and contributes to the McCarthy’s over $5 billion in

sales annually. He specializes in the preconstruction process, focusing on forecasting material pricing in

the market, understanding industry trends, and responding to the healthcare market needs.

Dave has been responsible for delivering some of the company’s most complex construction projects,

including CHRISTUS Spohn Health System Master Facility Plan, Children’s Health Specialty Center 2

Plano, and Parkland Hospital Outpatient Clinic 2: Center for Breast Health.

Dave is an integral part of the Dallas community, actively serving in the ACE Mentorship Program, an

afterschool program designed to attract high school students into pursuing career in the Architecture,

Construction, and Engineering industry, as well as serving on the Texas State University Construction

Industry Advisory Council.

Carlton Tidwell joined the Terrell Chamber of Commerce in 2010 and was named President and

CEO of the Chamber in 2016.

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Abilene Christian University,

Carlton worked in corporate America for more than 20 years, holding positions in companies such as

Sara Lee, Maybelline and Carlisle before beginning his career in Chamber administration.

Carlton is a Certified Economic Developer and is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Institute of Management and now serves on the board of regents of Southeast Institute.

He also is a member of the Texas Economic Development Council, International Economic

Development Council, and Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives.

Carlton is a devoted community volunteer, serving as a member of the Terrell Rotary Club and

the board of directors for Star Transit, Pride Rock Wildlife Refuge, and the Terrell ISD Excellence

Foundation. He also is the Kaufman County representative on the North Central Texas Workforce Board.

A former college football referee, Carlton provides color commentary for Terrell Tiger football on KPYK

1570 AM.

Allan’s career in healthcare real estate began in 1992. He spent the first decade learning the "nuts and bolts" as an architect involved with all manner of inpatient and outpatient healthcare facilities.

Allan was fortunate to develop relationships and learn from smart people in healthcare around the country. As the industry underwent unprecedented change during the second decade of Allan's career, he was a student of healthcare services delivery. He recognized the impact that strategic real estate had on patient care and financial results in this rapidly-evolving asset class.

These experiences and relationships inform Prevarian's strategic direction, including post-acute care emphasis, market choices, building and operational programming decisions, and alignments and partnerships with hospitals and health systems.

Allan has an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Florida A&M University, a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development from the College of Business Administration at UTA. He and his family live in Dallas.

Roman serves as the General Manager, overseeing operations at McGough’s Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas office. Joining McGough in 2018, he brings over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. With a career predominantly focused on Healthcare, Roman’s previous roles included Project Management, Budget Development, Scheduling, Team Management, Transition Planning, and Owner Representation. Throughout his career, Roman has played pivotal roles for prominent clients, including Parkland, Children's, Cooks, UTSW, University of Nebraska, Texas Health & Human Services, and various others across the Central and Southeastern US. His diverse experience equips him with a comprehensive knowledge base, crucial for proactively identifying and overcoming challenges that face Healthcare Institutions. Roman's passion lies in finding innovative solutions to the intricate challenges of the healthcare construction environment. Kurt’s professional engineering career spans over 40 years. His expertise includes structural engineering design for Mission Critical Facilities such as Data Centers, Health Care Facilities such as Hospitals and Clinics and Life Sciences Facilities such as Biopharmaceutical Pilot Plants and Production Facilities around the United States and the World. His area of expertise is in designing buildings to be occupable after natural disasters including Tornados, Hurricanes and Earthquakes. He has been the structural engineer of record for conventional “fixed Base Buildings” ranging from 1-23 stories, “Base Isolated Buildings” ranging from 1-5 stories, and the retrofit and new construction of buildings incorporating Fluid Viscous Dampers ranging from 1-22 stories. He has published numerous papers on passive energy dissipation and presented the findings at various conventions in Boston, San Francisco and Milan.

For over 23 years as the Founding Principal at PARADIGM Structural Engineers, Kurt spends most of his time developing new leaders at PARADIGM and mentoring staff in Chicago and San Francisco.

Brent has over 24 years of Healthcare Facility and Operations Experience. Brent joined Texas Health in 2013 as an Infrastructure Project Manager in the Corporate Offices. This role evolved over time to add Energy Management for all THR properties, and eventually to become the Commissioning Manager for all Construction Projects including the new hospitals in Frisco and Mansfield. In 2019, Brent was asked to assume the role of Facility Director at Frisco and open the hospital, where he has served for the first 4 years of operation. Brent is currently the Facility, EVS, Biomedical, and Security Director at Texas Health Flower Mound. Additionally, in 2022, he has added the role of Joint Commission Life Safety Surveyor. Prior to joining Texas Health, Brent has worked for St. Francis Hospital in Monroe, Louisiana; Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston, Louisiana; Vantage Health in Monroe, Louisiana; Monroe Surgical Hospital in Monroe, Louisiana; and Sears Methodist Retirement Centers based in Abilene, Texas. In these roles, he has developed and implemented Corrective and Preventative Maintenance programs, Water Management Plans, Life Safety and EOC Regulatory Compliance, Energy Reduction Strategies and overall campus master planning. Brent holds 2 Bachelors of Science degrees in Agricultural & Environmental Science from Abilene Christian University and in Education from McMurry University and has obtained the designation of Certified Energy Manager, Certified Building Commissioning Professional and Certified Healthcare Facility Manager. Brent has been active as a speaker with presentations that include webinars for TAHFM and ASHE in Commissioning Hospitals of the future, conference presentations at ASHE Annual Conventions, Premier Innovations Summit, Schneider Electric Digital Summit, AEE World Energy Engineers Congress, and TAHFM Annual Conferences on topics ranging from Capital Planning to Commissioning and Energy Management programs.

Chris has over 19 years of experience in real estate underwriting, management, and finance. He joined

Big Sky in 2022.

Prior to joining Big Sky, Chris was Vice President of Healthcare Acquisitions at Broadstone Net Lease,

acquiring over $120 million in assets in under a year. He was Manager of Acquisitions at Caddis for over

5 years, where he led the acquisition efforts for Caddis’ first fund, launched in 2017, which exceeded

$330 million in transaction volume.

Chris graduated with honors from California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor’s degree in

Business Administration and earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist

University with concentrations in real estate and corporate finance.

Chris is actively involved in the community, having raised substantial funding for Vogel Alcove, a

nonprofit organization dedicated to providing therapeutic educational programs for children

experiencing the trauma of homelessness. In 2020, he was honored by Dallas Business Journal’s annual

40 Under 40 Awards, recognizing leaders who excel in their fields, make valuable contributions to their

organizations, and have a meaningful impact on their communities. In his free time, Chris enjoys golfing,

running, and spending time with his kids.
