Why This Matters

What You'll Learn:

  • What is the current state of behavioral healthcare in the nation? The pandemic has revealed a crisis in isolation, how has the population recovered if at all?

  • With the increasing demand for specialized care across issues of substance abuse, depression, etc., what is currently in the pipeline to provide individuals with accessible options?

  • Where in the nation have we seen challenges and what groups are paving the way to increase supply? What is the role of private development?

  • How has the investment in behavioral health changed over the last 2 years? How has it affected both forensic and non-forensic operations?

  • What goes into the construction of new facilities, and how does one enter the market? What is specific to behavioral health compared to standard medical care buildings?

How You'll Do More Business: The global pandemic has brought to light several critical issues within our global healthcare systems - one of the greatest being the national awareness of behavioral and mental health. Tens of billions of dollars are now being invested into meeting the increasing demands of the population encouraging an increased supply of facilities to help treat the crisis.
