OPENING KEYNOTE PRESENTATION

Cristian and Max Hinojosa

Cristian and Max Hinojosa

Cristian and Max Hinojosa

At just one month old, Max Hinojosa was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of Leukemia called Juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML). JMML affects 1 child per million born, making it a true rare disease. After weeks of treatments, transfusions, surgeries, and procedures, Max’s medical team decided to try an oral chemotherapy with close monitoring. Max underwent treatment for almost a year before his body became stable, free from any medical intervention. His first year of life was a lot different than what you see today. Now, the Hinojosa’s are proud to say Max is in remission.

Today, Max is a healthy 9-year-old, the biggest Stars hockey fan in Dallas, a voracious reader, and a kind and thoughtful young man. He wants to be a firefighter when he grows up just like his dad, Cristian, a Battalion Chief with the Dallas Fire Department.

WHY THIS MATTERS

What You’ll Learn:

  1. The aging U.S. population is driving demand nationally for outpatient healthcare services facilities. How are investors capitalizing on this demand in Dallas? Will medical office building assets stabilize?

  2. With inpatient care continuing to decline, how are hospitals creating a more seamless and favorable patient experience? What’s the key to setting your system apart from the rest?

  3. Ambulatory services continue to bring in more revenue in the healthcare sector. How are healthcare investors and developers capitalizing on this trend?

  4. How is the shift to the outpatient healthcare model impacting development and investment decisions in DFW?

  5. What are the unique benefits in DFW for healthcare-related development?

  6. What new operational trends are we seeing in local facilities?

  7. What innovations are being introduced to improve treatment and care? What does the hospital of the future look like when it comes to design and build?

  8. As the population of nearby submarkets grows, what is being done to ensure access to healthcare, particularly targeting underserved communities? What is value-based care and how does it play in?

  9. Is healthcare really “recession-proof” or is that a misconception?

How You’ll Do More Business:

The move toward outpatient services and away from inpatient care has altered the entire healthcare industry. Patient experience is more important than ever. Like any other industry, healthcare systems must compete to attract and retain patients by creating the best experience possible. At the same time, DFW continues to emerge as a growing life sciences hub. Enhance your business by understanding how development and design are impacting decisions from the top down. Join us and learn how to stay ahead of the curve regarding where to invest and develop as you cater to the MOB, life sciences and healthcare spaces.

Who attends:

Healthcare systems, Investors, owners, developers, lenders, tenants, brokers, architects, contractors, engineers, property managers and you!
