Rick Perdue serves as President of Rosewood Property Company, bringing with him more than 25 years of real estate experience. With this expertise, he guides the firm’s strategic vision and oversees the various asset classes, including office, retail, multifamily, self-storage and industrial. Throughout his career, Mr. Perdue has managed the development, acquisition, and disposition of several million square feet of real estate.

Prior to leading Rosewood Property, Rick served as a market leader with Mill Creek Residential as well as head of acquisitions and development with Tonti Properties. Mr. Perdue received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Auburn University and an MBA in Finance from Tulane University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Texas-licensed real estate broker. Mr. Perdue serves as a board member for The Real Estate Council of Dallas (TREC) where he previously served as Chairman of The Board and Chairman of the Associate Leadership Council (ALC) program. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a founding Board Member of The Loop, an organization tasked with connecting Dallas’ trail system. Mr. Perdue is an Adjunct Professor at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University (SMU), teaching a real estate development course to graduate students.

The Retail Connection

Alan P. Shor, a co-founder of The Retail Connection, serves as its President and Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors. Alan is involved in TRC’s strategic direction, oversees the day-to-day operations of the company and leads its investment and merchant banking business. He also serves as an operating partner with leading private equity firms which have deep experience in retail investments. Alan is an investor in and a Board member of multiple high growth retail chains.

Prior to launching The Retail Connection, Alan served as President, Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Zale Corporation, at that time North America’s largest specialty retailer of fine jewelry with 2,300 retail locations throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. As President, he was responsible for all support and operating areas of the company including real estate, construction and design, technology, legal, human resources, distribution, loss prevention, credit and customer service. Alan joined Zale in 1995 as its Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary.

Prior to joining Zale, he spent 12 years with Troutman Sanders, a national law firm, where he built a strong track record of advising the senior management teams of Fortune 1000 companies. Alan was the Managing Partner of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office at the time he left to join Zale.

Alan has been active in a number of professional and charitable organizations. He was a member of the Board of Directors of The Real Estate Council and currently is a Board member of ChainLinks Retail Advisors and the Folsom Institute for Real Estate at Southern Methodist University. Alan has also served on the Board of Directors of UPLIFT Education, a Texas based charter school initiative, and served as an adjunct Professor in the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He was the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center of Dallas from 2009-2011 and he is a member of the Maverick Chapter of the World President’s Organization (YPO/WPO). Finally, Alan has been named one of the Dallas 500 for both 2022 and 2023, recognizing him as one of the most influential business leaders in North Texas.

Alan graduated with honors from both the University of Georgia and University of Georgia School of Law.

Zach Sams joined Kensington Vanguard in November of 2016 after serving as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Fidelity National Title’s Dallas/Fort Worth division from 2012-2016. Zach is focused on expanding KV’s footprint in the D/FW, Texas, Arizona and National markets. From selling real estate for to business development roles at prominent local and national title insurance companies, Zach has been active in the in the real estate market since 2005.

Prior to the title industry, Zach attended The Golf Academy of America in San Diego, then spent two years playing professional golf on various mini tours in Southern California. Zach is a Veteran of the US Army. Zach lives in Argyle, TX with his wife Amber and their two boys 11&13. In his free time Zach enjoys playing competitive amateur golf and traveling with his wife and kids.

Maria Stamolis is currently a consultant and a full-time Clinical Professor at the Cox School of Business at Southern methodist University teaching both BBA’s and MBA’s and she is actively involved with the Folsom Institute serving on its Advisory Board as well as the Investment Committee of the SMU Cox Real Estate Impact Fund. Until June of 2025, Maria served as a Senior Adviser at Lincoln Property Company, after previously having served as its Chief Investment Officer. Through 2022, Maria was an executive at Canyon Partners, where she was a partner and the Co-Head of Real Estate. During her tenure, Maria oversaw in excess of $25B of debt and equity investments across all product types. Over her career, Maria held roles at MBL Life Assurance Company, GE Capital, Oakwood International and Karney Management Company. Maria is a graduate of Fordham University, holding both a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. in Finance. In addition to also serving on Goodwill’s Executive Committee, since 2022, Maria has served as a Board Director and as a CGN Committee Member for The Minto Group, a privately held Canadian real estate company. Maria also currently consults for a global real estate investment manager. A New York native, Maria lived in Los Angeles for 28 years prior to relocating to University Park in 2021 with her husband Michael. She has two sons, Nicholas, who lives in New Hampshire and Theo, who graduated from SMU/Cox this year and who is now an Associate in Dallas on CBRE’s Industrial Investment Sales Team.
