Casey is a 20-year veteran of the US Navy Nuclear power program, trained as an electrician. She retired from the Navy in June 2014 and went to work for the insurance company that insures all the commercial nuclear power plants across the US, Spain, and Belgium. In that role she performed engineering, risk, and project management evaluations. In January 2020, she started her career at AWS as a Facility Manager, responsible for the operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems needed to power and cool a data center. In September 2021, she was promoted to Area Manager and in May 2022, she was promoted to Cluster Manager. In her current role, she leads a team of 86 managers, chief engineers and technicians across 12 data centers and is the first woman to hold this position in the Northern Virginia region. She has earned two Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Nuclear Technology, a Masters of Divinity Degree in Chaplaincy, and is working towards a Doctor of Strategic Leadership degree.

Jeff Uphues is responsible for DC BLOX’s business strategy, mission, and goals guiding the company’s vision of designing, building and operating a network of innovative data centers that bring best-in-class business services to the Edge.

A tireless tech-savvy executive, strategist and cloud services entrepreneur, Jeff has held C-suite leadership positions in organizations ranging in size from Fortune 50 companies to start-ups including Liquid Web, Cbeyond and Bandwidth.com. He is an active board member for several privately held technology software companies and is co-chair of the New Venture Competition for the Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta.

Jeff is a graduate of Harvard Business School and completed undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Arlington. He lives in Alpharetta, GA with his wife and two girls (who are known as the Three Texas Chix) where he serves as the president of the Jr. Raiders Girls Lacrosse Board.

Adam Wiggins is the Data Center Segment Manager for Camfil, a leading global manufacturer of clean air solutions. He is responsible for Camfil’s data center strategy, market share, and technical support in the US. Adam brings over 12 years of experience in optimizing air filtration systems for many Fortune 500 companies such as Cardinal Health, AT&T, HCA Healthcare, Tyson Foods and Nissan. He is an expert in modeling data center TCO air filtration system costs using Camfil’s Life Cycle Cost (LCC) software. LCC software can accurately project various costs associated with a data center air filtration systems using ASHRAE filter loading data. Air filtration Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization will drastically reduce kWh usage, CO2 emissions, labor hours, and environmental landfill impact. In 2002, Steve founded the Andrew Browning Group (now Compu Dynamics). Prior to that, he served as a senior executive with several nationally ranked general and mechanical contractors. His work led him across the United States and overseas.

Meadows II has worked in data center cooling since 1999.  He is currently the Director of Technology with STULZ USA, a manufacturer of precision air conditioning, humidification, and dehumidification products specifically designed for the data center.  Previously David has served as both the Design Engineering Manager and the Applications Engineering Manager at Stulz.  David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.  David is also a graduate of the United States Navy Nuclear Power School.

Justin Jurek is a seasoned power quality consultant and business development executive whom supports the design development of best in class power protection systems’ deploying $250M+ in his 15 year tenure into critical electrical infrastructure projects for some of the most leading datacenter providers, chip foundries, observatories, bio-labs, and defense installations. Justin is currently the sales director of Hitec Power Protection for the Americas, is based in San Diego, but has roots in WNY and holds an Electrical Engineering degree from SUNY Buffalo. Justin will be presenting on the impact of artificial intelligence in the datacenter on the mechanical system and solutions on the market.

Mr. Goglio has more than 40 years of experience in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning) Service/Construction industry gained from performing trade work and extensive project management. He is also a senior- level resource in providing project development, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and retro-commissioning management. At Boland, Mr. Goglio serves as the Subject Matter Expert for Mission Critical Data Centers including account management, preparing service contracts, service repair, and retrofit and replacement work. Mr. Goglio also supports the development team in providing site surveys, troubleshooting, design review, and retro-commissioning support. He has developed strong client relationships and gained client trust through his ability to solve customer problems and generate solutions offerings.

As Senior Director Operations Business, Dan Moore is responsible for all of CyrusOne’s operations

contracts and vendor relationships in the United States, including the company’s Integrated Facilities

Management (IFM) relationship that encompasses all aspects of facility management. He has almost 15

years of mission-critical data center operations and facilities management experience.

Since joining CyrusOne in 2015 as Senior Operations Manager – Northeast Region, Dan was elevated to

Operations Business Director prior to his current responsibility. Previously, Dan served as Facilities

Manager at Cervalis, purchased by CyrusOne, and he held several positions of increasing responsibilities

with IBM for almost 15 years.

Supporting the data center industry, Dan serves as president of 7x24 Exchange Empire State Chapter, a

not-for-profit organization that provides an educational forum focusing on challenges faced by mission

critical industry professionals.

Dan is a military veteran, having served his country in the United States Navy, after which he earned his

Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Marist College –

Chris Egloff is the VP of Strategic Business Opportunities of the Lithium & Hazmat division at Americase. In this role, Chris communicates and leads projects for some of Americase's largest clients, in addition to effectively coordinating and executing the full sales process with hazmat clients. However, his biggest priority is acting as an essential customer advocate, consulting in regards to hazmat regulation.

Chris' 15+ years of previous experience in the medical software industry built his general foundation for being successful in a sales environment. As a globally-recognized professional speaker on education, skilled trades, workforce development, supply chain impacts, Edge computing, facility resiliency, redundancy and operational stability, as well as fluid power expertise regarding liquid cooling applications, his well-rounded knowledge ensures a vast array of topics can be covered by discussing solutions and not dwelling on problems. Throughout a 20-year career spanning Automation, Process Control, and Value-Added Consultation, Gusakov's goal has been to work with clients to take their facilities and interests to world class performance standards. Gusakov continues to pursue advocacy for clients in their overall performance and stresses the importance of data-driven accuracy for management and operational success. Pavan Kundurthi is an accomplished professional with over 13 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer and Engineering Manager. Currently, he manages teams of Electrical and Mechanical engineers at Amazon Web Services, overseeing the design and continuous innovation of the rapidly expanding data center fleet in the region. Pavan collaborates closely with the Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams at the Data Centers. He holds a Master's Degree in Power Electronics from Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from Chicago Booth. Pavan has ventured into entrepreneurship with energy storage solutions, demonstrating his passion for commercializing innovation. His recent work focuses on finding innovative solutions to handle potential power constraints in data centers while minimizing disruptions to operations, both now and in the future. Pavan's expertise lies in optimizing data center capacity to support rapid demand growth.

Jason has been a critical player in the data center industry since 2007, specializing in wholesale and retail sales transactions. He joined VoltaGrid in 2023 to expand its data center business, recognizing the evolving challenges in the sector. Jason brings a deep well of industry expertise, enabling VoltaGrid to navigate the complexities of powering data centers and delivering tailored behind-the-meter solutions for both temporary and long-term energy needs.

As a Co-founder in 1992, and currently the Director of Environmental Impact at MIRATECH Corporation, Jim provides leadership, strategy and product design expertise for their Power Generation division. Jim rejoined Miratech Corporation in 2019 heading up the ENP Concepts consulting arm after management positions at Rypos Corporation and leading the environmental department at PowerSecure’s microgrid group. In charge of tracking all Federal, State and Local emissions regulations as they pertain to backup generators located at Datacenters in North America and Europe, he ensures MIRATECH’s products and services offer ongoing compliance. Mr. McDonald has testified before the Federal EPA numerous times and is considered a valuable stakeholder on several rulemaking teams at the State Level. For 15 years he has been an instructor for the Advanced School of the Electrical Generating Systems Association on the subject of Emissions from Diesel engines and has authored the textbook chapter on the same. He has a Patent Pending on the use of wire mesh DPF substrates in the pre-heating of SCR catalyst blocks. As the originator of the ‘GVU’ measurement parameter, Jim performs analyses to show the relative comparison on Ultraclean diesel generators versus grid supplied power. As such he advocates for the environmentally justifiable use of stationary generators until emerging renewable technologies are proven and cost effective. Charles (Chuck) Miller is the Founder and CEO of NgenX Energy

Solutions and serves as a Principal for Low carbon Outreach for Washington

Gas and Light ( WGL Energy) He is the visionary for NgenX

Energy and is responsible for managing outreach for on site power

generation for WGL. He has more than 35 years of energy, energy

efficiency, and renewable energy experience along with project

development and structured finance experience. Chuck has developed

projects in multiple vertical markets including healthcare, higher education, industrial and

commercial, agriculture, and federal as well as Enterprise and Hyperscale data Centers. Prior

to the launch of NgenX Chuck was tasked with deploying capital for the non-regulated energy

division of Washington Gas where he developed more than $150 million of projects over the

course of the four years. He has subsequently been heavily engaged in the indoor agriculture

space most recently facilitating a 2MW / 900 Ton Combined heat and power plant for a

licensed medical grower in Maryland and has worked closely with leading MSO’s in the facility
