Dan Golding is one of the world's leading experts at data center and network engineering, business development, and operations. He has a 25-year career focused on building Internet, Cloud, and AI/ML infrastructure for enterprises, colocation providers, hyperscale clouds, and the emerging AI ecosystem. Dan recently left a long career at Google where he was the only Google Engineering Director to be a part of both the Google Global Networking and Google Data Centers Advanced Technology Innovation teams. He's been a technical lead on the design, engineering and build teams responsible for over $25b of datacenters - thousands of megawatts. He's also a leader in data center leasing, having negotiated, sold, performed due diligence, or signed over $600m of wholesale data center lease deals.

Prior to joining Google, Dan was the Vice President of Operations and Engineering at Iron Mountain Data Centers, and before that, RagingWire Data Centers (now NTT Data Centers). Dan was the sector's leading industry analyst and investment banker at Gartner for Technical Professionals, Tier 1 Research (451 Group) and DH Capital. Dan was one of the earliest engineering leaders at groundbreaking Internet service providers like AOL, Mindspring, and Earthlink. Dan is the former Chairman of NANOG and former vice-Chairman and co-founder of Open-IX. He is frequently credited as the co-founder of Northern Virginia's Data Center Alley in Ashburn.

Dan's three most significant innovations have been the popularization of the now dominant Donut model of Internet interconnection which supplanted the former Tier-n model of interconnect; the most historically advantageous Ashburn, VA data center land deal - NTT's 100 acre campus in the middle of Ashburn for $20m in 2012 - land with an objective value of $500m; and the development of engineering continuous improvement techniques to vastly accelerate deployments in hyperscale data centers by factors of 5x or more.

Dan has a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Auburn University, and a Master of Science Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from George Mason University. He is a graduate of the US Navy's Nuclear Power School.

In addition to his role at Stream Data Centers, AJ will leverage his expertise in Location Strategy for Headwaters Site Development, an independent affiliate of Stream. Headwaters identifies ideal data center sites and applies a robust and methodical due diligence and development process to bring sites to a shovel ready state.

AJ brings a diverse background of experience to the Stream team, having developed a comprehensive long-range strategy to a complex office campus portfolio, data center relationship management, overview of site due diligence related to contracting, and extensive land acquisition for data centers. Prior to joining Stream Data Centers / Headwaters Site Development, AJ served as the Director of Land Acquisition for the Americas at Microsoft where he led and oversaw significant growth in the company’s land acquisition to support self-build campuses. This included land acquisition in numerous geographic markets as well as the growth of key regions with the ability to deliver multiple gigawatts of data center capacity across thousands of acres.

Dip is a technologist, engineer, and entrepreneur. He lives on the beach with his fantastic family (Wife, Daughter, and Dog). He is currently the Chief Technology Officer of Soluna (Nasdaq: SLNH), a company aiming to make stranded green energy profitable using off-grid high-density computing. Before Soluna, he was a co-founder of Ecovent, a smart home technology company sold to ConnectM in 2016. Before Ecovent, Dip led the design, development, and production of complex radar systems at Lockheed Martin. Dip has a BSEE from Drexel University, an MSEE from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he currently serves as a lecturer.

You’ll often hear her refer to the book Ready Player One as it helped spark her interest into data centers many years ago. She recently made the switch to the Owners side and has filled the role of VP of Construction for Prime Data Centers. She has found the datacenter community to be incredibly inclusive and has enjoyed working alongside other innovative people. Kristen looks forward to seeing how datacenters evolve to address the various demands of the industry. Outside of work, she spends her free time with her family, going mountain biking, and doing charity work with her daughter through National Charity League.

Juan Sebastian Jurado is a senior director of customer success at ALICE Technologies, where he helps customers digitize their scheduling practices from static legacy systems to parametric and integrated project controls. Juan's extensive experience includes implementing AI-powered tools for more competitive bidding, target value design, lean planning, and project recoveries.

Juan has trained schedulers around the world in generative scheduling, also gaining a deep understanding of the challenges faced in industrial, infrastructure, and commercial markets and the many limitations of legacy planning and project management tools. At ALICE, Juan has developed frameworks for integrating schedule, cost, and scope, as well as decision methodologies for AI tool evaluation and adoption. He is passionate about educating the industry on the limitations and opportunities of AI and helping translate complex technical talk into actionable construction impacts that make life better for workers and companies.

Before ALICE, Juan graduated from Stanford University, worked at Suffolk Construction, and co-founded Built Robotics. Juan offers a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges of driving innovation in the AEC industry.

Jake is the Co-Founder of Power and Data Management, LLC (PDM), a development firm that advises clients in building massively modular mission critical projects, and supplies electrical infrastructure including transformers, switchgear, containerized data centers and Battery Energy Storage Systems. PDM’s modular designs support flexible power densities to power standard and HPC systems yet delivers high operating efficiency. He is also the Founder of DC BLOX and Co-Founder of GIGA Data Centers, providers of multi-tenant colocation data centers and network services.

Prior to these ventures, he was Chief Marketing Officer for GE Energy Management ($8B revenue) where he led the development of global strategy and commercialization initiatives, and guided the development of markets and new technology areas such as creating GE’s Critical Power business. In GE Critical Power, he led the business to engage hyperscale-cloud companies with a complete portfolio of electrical equipment, including UPS, switchgear, and containerized critical power systems with automated controls.

Previously, he spent over nine years managing portfolio companies for private equity investors of electrical & electronic manufacturing businesses including Milestek, Pasternack Enterprises, and Magnequench, and saw them successfully brought to sale. He has also held executive leadership roles with Emerson Electric, in which he led Product Management for the Emerson Network Power division (now Vertiv).

Jake received a Bachelor degree in Math and Computer Science from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. He lives in Atlanta, GA.

Leads the effort to engage technical staff in the design-assist effort of very fast-track projects, at the earliest stages of development. Works with end-users and their agents to create unique designs and unusual applications of precast concrete building systems.

Drives Metromont’s practice of acting as a specialty precast subcontractor in the data center -- and not just the manufacturer of various precast parts and pieces. Metromont can self-perform 100% of the precast concrete work, beginning from structured design-assist engagement, through field erection of "all-precast" buildings.

Leads the activities of Metromont’s VA Sales staff in pursuit of projects primarily in Virginia’s Data Center Alley, but across the U.S. Metromont has the capability of extending its reach beyond this area, on certain projects, where organizational strengths, financial capacity, and past experience -- particularly with regard to mission-critical projects -- are required.

Kurt’s professional engineering career spans over 40 years. His expertise includes structural engineering design for Mission Critical Facilities such as Data Centers, Health Care Facilities such as Hospitals and Clinics and Life Sciences Facilities such as Biopharmaceutical Pilot Plants and Production Facilities around the United States and the World. His area of expertise is in designing buildings to be occupable after natural disasters including Tornados, Hurricanes and Earthquakes. He has been the structural engineer of record for conventional “fixed Base Buildings” ranging from 1-23 stories, “Base Isolated Buildings” ranging from 1-5 stories, and the retrofit and new construction of buildings incorporating Fluid Viscous Dampers ranging from 1-22 stories. He has published numerous papers on passive energy dissipation and presented the findings at various conventions in Boston, San Francisco and Milan.

For over 23 years as the Founding Principal at PARADIGM Structural Engineers, Kurt spends most of his time developing new leaders at PARADIGM and mentoring staff in Chicago and San Francisco.

Prior to joining CleanArc, Rich worked at Digital Realty, one of the largest publicly traded data

center providers. During his eight years there, he oversaw design for more than 3 million

square feet and 300+ megawatts of data center space. Before Digital Realty, he held key

positions at AKF Engineers, EYP Mission Critical Facilities and Cummins Power Generation. At

Cummins, he built and fostered strategic global partnerships within the mission critical sector

and managed more than $60 million in project pipeline, developed through his industry

network.

Rich began his career more than three decades ago with a small project at an IBM research

data center and has continued to work on industry initiatives involving major organizations

across the world.

Jim McDonald

As a Co-founder in 1992, and currently the Director of Environmental Impact at MIRATECH Corporation, Jim provides leadership, strategy and product design expertise for their Power Generation division. Jim rejoined Miratech Corporation in 2019 heading up the ENP Concepts consulting arm after management positions at Rypos Corporation and leading the environmental department at PowerSecure’s microgrid group. In charge of tracking all Federal, State and Local emissions regulations as they pertain to backup generators located at Datacenters in North America and Europe, he ensures MIRATECH’s products and services offer ongoing compliance. Mr. McDonald has testified before the Federal EPA numerous times and is considered a valuable stakeholder on several rulemaking teams at the State Level. For 15 years he has been an instructor for the Advanced School of the Electrical Generating Systems Association on the subject of Emissions from Diesel engines and has authored the textbook chapter on the same. He has a Patent Pending on the use of wire mesh DPF substrates in the pre-heating of SCR catalyst blocks. As the originator of the ‘GVU’ measurement parameter, Jim performs analyses to show the relative comparison on Ultraclean diesel generators versus grid supplied power. As such he advocates for the environmentally justifiable use of stationary generators until emerging renewable technologies are proven and cost effective. Jim holds a B.S in mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware.

Nancy Novak, Compass Datacenters’ Chief Innovation Officer, has over 25 years of construction experience and has overseen the delivery of over $3.5 billion in projects during that time. Prior to joining Compass, Nancy was the National Vice President of Operations for Balfour Beatty Construction which she joined after serving in a variety of executive positions for Hensel Phelps Construction Company. years of significant experience to PowerHouse, having successfully managed complex

served as director of design for Digital Realty Trust, where she was responsible for the quality of

the organization’s designs and processes. Alongside Luke Kipfer, Petersburg oversees the

planning and execution of all PowerHouse data center projects.

Karen Petersburg actively contributes to the data center industry as the president of the local

7x24 DC Chapter, with board and committee positions for the Data Center Coalition and the

Nomad Futurist Foundation. She also supports local non-profits aiming to increase STEM

participation among local youth.

Beyond her professional life, Karen is dedicated to exploring the philosophical and

socio-economic dimensions of data, contemplating how it impacts our daily lives and shapes our

globalized society's future.

Chrissy Olsen is a veteran sales and technology leader with over 30 years of

experience shaping the global data center and critical power landscape. As Vice

President of Critical Power Solutions at MPI Energy, she leads global marketing strategy

and new business development for advanced LFP lithium, VRLA, and energy storage

systems supporting hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and AI/HPC environments.

In her role, Chrissy positions MPI Energy’s solutions within rapidly evolving power

architectures, drives industry education on safe and scalable lithium deployment, builds

strategic OEM and channel partnerships, and aligns product innovation with real-world

operator requirements. Her work bridges engineering and economics—translating

technical performance, UL/NFPA compliance, and lifecycle modeling into clear

executive-level value propositions that elevate the total cost of ownership, resiliency

strategy, and long-term infrastructure planning.

Before joining MPI Energy, Chrissy built a distinguished career leading global sales and

mission-critical infrastructure initiatives. She has delivered multimillion-dollar data center

construction projects, launched global business units, and expanded technical expertise

across organizations including Wesco International. Her earlier entrepreneurial success

includes founding and scaling a technology design firm through merger.

A dynamic speaker known for her Italian wit and handson storytelling, Chrissy is a

recognized advocate for advancing women in the industry, and serves on multiple

boards supporting that mission. Her honors include the Infrastructure Masons IM100

Award (2022), the Belden Outstanding Growth Award (2021), and multiple Anixter

In 2002, Steve founded the Andrew Browning Group (now Compu Dynamics). Prior to that, he served as a senior executive with several nationally ranked general and mechanical contractors. His work led him across the United States and overseas.

Throughout his career, Steve has been a student of and thought leader in, the technology and science behind today’s modern building environments. This interest has naturally led to an affinity for clients whose requirements drive them toward facilities that are smart, clean, safe, reliable, and secure. His focus for the last 23 years has been exclusively on data centers ranging in size from 20 kW to over 100 MW.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Business

Administration, both from the University of Virginia.

For fun, Steve enjoys tennis and pickleball. When he is not competing in business, he may be found sweating it out on a racquet court!

Taylor Hawkins is an experienced and outgoing Data Center Development Project Manager leveraging technical knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, civil and structural engineering principles to support complex data infrastructure projects for the world's premier Cloud computing platforms. Ms. Hawkins has completed hundreds of megawatts of hyperscale data center builds on behalf of public and private sector clients, which include Bid-Build, Design-Build, and CM-at-Risk scopes of work, delivering 10 figures worth of construction of mission critical facilities.

With a deep understanding of the intricate challenges and complexities of the data center industry, Taylor has successfully managed numerous projects from conception to completion, ensuring optimal efficiency, cost effectiveness, and adherence to strict timelines. Her expertise in overseeing the entire project life cycle, from planning and design to procurement and construction, has consistently resulted in the seamless delivery of state-of-the-art data center facilities.

Beyond her technical proficiency, Taylor’s passion for diversity, equity and inclusion has set her apart as a true leader. Recognizing the transformative power of diverse perspectives and inclusive practices, she has actively fostered an inclusive work environment, championing diversity at every level of the project teams she has led. Pavan Kundurthi is an accomplished professional with over 13 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer and Engineering Manager. Currently, he manages teams of Electrical and Mechanical engineers at Amazon Web Services, overseeing the design and continuous innovation of the rapidly expanding data center fleet in the region. Pavan collaborates closely with the Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams at the Data Centers. He holds a Master's Degree in Power Electronics from Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from Chicago Booth. Pavan has ventured into entrepreneurship with energy storage solutions, demonstrating his passion for commercializing innovation. His recent work focuses on finding innovative solutions to handle potential power constraints in data centers while minimizing disruptions to operations, both now and in the future. Pavan's expertise lies in optimizing data center capacity to support rapid demand growth.

Osvaldo (Oz) Morales

Oz Morales is currently the Chief Officer of Infrastructure at Denvr Dataworks, an AI centric cloud provider. Prior, he was SVP for Infrastructure and Innovation at Digital Realty Trust, the worlds largest colocation provider. He was responsible for Innovation, Infrastructure Development, Cost, New Technologies, and Operations Development. Oz spent 5 years as the CTO/VP for COI at Microsoft. He was responsible for Operations, Engineering, Software tools, Supply Chain, Colocation acquisition, and technical direction for the CO+I team at Microsoft, Oz spent most of his time developing

methodology and focus on AI compute, structured cabling plants and Networking. He was the former Vice President for Data Center Global Services for Amazon Web

Services, responsible for maintaining all the Amazon.com/AWS data centers around the world, he was with AWS/Amazon for 17 years. He worked at MSFT for 5 years and

started his career in MSFT as a Partner Engineer in DCX. Oz has continued to apply new innovations and proven technology to deploy into the data center space and has

developed many innovative project patents for efficiency and cost savings. His patent awards are in the hundreds and range from developing strategies for low-cost distribution

of electrical power for data centers to methods of airflow control and he currently has several other patents pending.

Prior to coming to MSFT, Oz worked as a manager at Enbridge Technology Inc., an oil and pipeline gas industry worldwide based in Canada. Oz led the SCADA team to

automate control and loss prevention of all the company’s hydro-carbon pipeline system (domestic and International).

Oz graduated from University of Alberta with a BSc Eng. in Mechanical Engineering and obtained his MSc in Electrical Engineering from University of Delaware.

Besides building data centers, Oz has a passion for cars and motorcycles. In his spare time, Oz enjoys playing hockey, spending time with his daughter and reading books by

his favorite authors Edgar Allan Poe and Pablo Neruda. He currently has a blog at www.ozmorales.com where he reviews many of the topics and challenges experienced by

the industry.

After getting his B.S. in Chemistry Michael began his career in Industrial Water Treatment for 16 years. For the next 14 years he served in the Data Center industry, advising Data Center owners, engineers, and operators regarding cooling and power designs and solutions. Michael has managed multiple Data Center Design/Build projects, from greenfield to brownfield, including live Data Center upgrades. He has Top Secret DOD clearance and has performed Data Center energy and Tier Reliability audits for the US Government and private industry. He also has experience in doing forensic analysis of Data Center equipment failures and implementing solutions for remediation. In 2020 Michael joined Nalco Water in the Global High Tech business group, responsible for advising and supporting Data Center engineers and owner/operators regarding water related issues. This includes site selection water assessment, cooling system design, water consumption and treatment, water conservation, water reclaim, water pre-treatment equipment design, water related Capex/Opex, and newer sustainable water strategies and technologies. He also leads the Nalco CDCWT Certification effort to educate Data Center industry members about best practices with water and the wise stewardship of water. Michael is married with four children and serves on the leadership teams of two ministry groups.
