Prior to GI Partners, Mr. Sheputis was President of Infomart Data Centers. In 2018, the Dallas Infomart was acquired by Equinix and the remaining Infomart assets and operations were acquired by IPI Partners to be the initial properties for STACK Infrastructure. Prior to Infomart, Mr. Sheputis was Co-Founder and CEO of Fortune Data Centers. Mr. Sheputis received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA and an MS Engineering from Northwestern.

Eddie Schutter is currently Managing Partner at LuxML, prior he was the Chief Technology Officer for Switch, responsible for technical and operational leadership, optimization of production and services, and strategic development of innovation programs and initiatives that drive top-and-bottom line business value across all business units. Transforming the company’s monetary and intellectual capital into technology to advance strategic and tactical plans, his focus includes leading efforts to identify new technologies that advance the strategic vision and mission of Switch. Eddie will also lead Switch’s efforts to promote, integrate and apply new technologies through research and development, proof of concept, piloting, field trials, scale out and realization. Hugh has nearly 20 years of cross-industry technology experience, from data networking to fiber optics to wireless infrastructure. He spent the early half of his career in Silicon Valley, helping to start and grow several start-ups in Silicon Valley, such as ONI Systems and FiberTower. In these roles Hugh helped bridge the gap between the state of technology its implementation to drive the technology’s adoption in the market. After this, Hugh held a senior leadership role at Fujitsu Network Communications, launching Fujitsu’s multi-technology solutions organization. Applying the lessons learned through these various experiences, Hugh is adapting how data centers will meet the growing and changing requirements of today’s businesses. He received his A.B. and B.E. in Engineering from Dartmouth College and his Master in Engineering Management from the Thayer School of Engineering and Tuck School of Business. Jeff Moerdler is chair of the Haynes Boone Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice and a real estate partner in the New York office. He has more than 40 years’ experience in general commercial real estate law. Jeff’s real estate practice includes acquisitions, sales, development, leasing, and borrower’s side financing. Jeff also has a particular focus on real estate challenges facing communications, technology and energy companies, and represents property owners and telecom companies in telecom real estate matters, particularly in data center development, acquisitions, sales, leases, colocation agreements and service level agreements. His clients include both large national companies and smaller, local clients, and includes representation of landlords and tenants in all types of leases; counseling owners and developers in the acquisition, sale, joint venture, development, and renovation of property as well as sale-leaseback transactions; advising lenders and borrowers in commercial loans; and the representation of all parties in real estate litigation. He is actively involved in settling real estate, partnership, and inter-family disputes. He also represents many not-for-profit entities and is active in health care, senior living, and educational real estate.

During the past 35 years, Jeff has developed considerable experience in the intersection of real estate with communications, technology, and energy issues. He has extensive experience representing landlords, tenants, developers, and communications service providers in the leasing, purchase, sale, and financing of data centers, colocation facilities, radio and television broadcast antennas, distributed and in-building wireless systems, rooftop antennas, and fiber-optic transactions as well as the wiring of buildings for broadband communications access. Jeff has also negotiated thousands of data center leases, master services agreements, colocation agreements and service level agreements, rooftop and cellular antenna leases, inside wiring agreements, and antenna tower leases throughout the country – covering over 500 million square feet.

He has also devoted a considerable portion of his practice to power and energy issues related to real estate and other technology matters, including large solar and wind installations, battery storage facilities, and bulk power purchases.

Jeff is a frequent speaker on real estate, data center, and telecom topics around the country. He is Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and on the faculty of the Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute. He regularly speaks as a panelist at data center, digital infrastructure and real estate conference around the United States. In addition, he is regularly quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bisnow, Commercial Property News, Real Estate Weekly, and other publications. He co-authored the first treatise chapter on telecom real law for Powell on Real Property in 1999.

Jeff has previously served in numerous governmental positions, including as a Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, a member of the New York State Banking Board, a member of the New York State Financial Control Board, a member of the Departmental Disciplinary Committee of the Appellate Division of the First Department of the New York State Supreme Court, Assistant to the First Deputy Mayor of the City of New York, and assistant to the Deputy Borough President of the Borough of Manhattan. From 1981 to 1982, Jeff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, US District Judge, and later Chief Judge, for the Southern District of New York.

Jeff is also an emergency medical technician on his local volunteer ambulance and President of his local chapter, as well as having served for 8 years on the Board of Trustees of the umbrella organization which is the largest volunteer ambulance service in the United States.

Trey Berndt

Rising up from an Account Executive to VP of Sales, he helped to sell out of all available inventory in the Dallas, Texas facilities while maintaining an unheard of 99.5% customer retention rate. Prior to working for CoreXchange, Trey served as the President of Blue Wireless & Data Inc. and in Business Development for DSG Technology. Trey graduated from Oklahoma City University with his Bachelors in Philosophy and Humanities. Trey believes his keys to success are to maintain a cutting edge understanding of the data center industry, always provide the most attentive customer service and to never be outworked. Dave Leonard

Prior to ViaWest, Dave founded Critical Infrastructure Consulting LLC., and was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Infocrossing for nine years. He was also the CTO for (i)Structure, a division of Level(3) Communications which Infocrossing later acquired. Prior to that, he was CTO of Corporate Express, Inc. based in Broomfield, Colorado.

Andrew is a data center, IT, private equity and real estate executive with over 20 years of complex transactional experience and multi-disciplinary senior leadership. As CEO of Aligned, he is dedicated to accelerating business growth by driving the delivery of data center solutions with industry-leading technology and adaptive infrastructure. Since beginning his tenure with Aligned three years ago, Andrew has exponentially grown company revenues, completed several successful capital raisings, and cultivated an ecosystem of innovation that advances Aligned’s commitment to reducing the social, economic and environmental impact of the digital era to position Aligned as the number one performing private data center company in 2019.

Prior to joining Aligned, Andrew held numerous leadership positions over an 11-year period with Digital Realty Trust (NYSE: DLR). Most recently serving as Senior Vice President, he was responsible for global large-scale, client-driven data center builds and was part of the executive leadership team that grew revenue to $2 billion. He also oversaw all major international transactions, including the successful negotiation and execution of projects in Osaka, Singapore, Hong Kong and Sydney. He also sits on the Infrastructure Masons Advisory Council, an organization that provides infrastructure executives and technical professionals an independent forum to connect, grow and give back. Additionally, Andrew serves as a mentor for Great Minds in STEM, an association dedicated to keeping America technologically strong by promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Math careers, especially in underserved communities.

Bill Burton serves as Executive Vice President, Marketing & Development for Hillwood, developer of AllianceTexas. As EVP, Bill is responsible for leading the vision and strategy of AllianceTexas by overseeing the development of office, industrial and retail as well as leasing and sales. Bill continues to play an active role with key stakeholders and clients—maintaining relationships that support the forward-thinking and innovative mission that drives the growth of AllianceTexas.

Bill joined Hillwood in January 1989 and has been directly involved with developing AllianceTexas from raw ranch land to a 27,000-acre, master-planned development. Bill’s expertise is centered on developing customer relationships that nurture long- term success. He has directed build-to suit and lease transactions totaling more than 53 million square feet with companies such as Amazon, AT&T Nokia, Bridgestone-Firestone, General Mills, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and Volkswagen of America. In addition, he has managed portfolio sales in excess of 1 billion dollars and coordinated more than 1,800 acres of land sale transactions with companies such as Citigroup, Deloitte, Fidelity Investments, Intel, KRAFT Foods, and more.

Raul Martynek

Raul Martynek joined DataBank in June of 2017 as the Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he provides overall strategic direction of the company and its operations. Raul is a 25+ year veteran in the telecom and Internet Infrastructure sector. He most recently served as a Senior Advisor for Digital Bridge Holdings LLC. Prior to Digital Bridge, he served as Chief Executive Officer for New Jersey-based data center and managed services operator Net Access, LLC. Net Access was acquired in November 2015 by Denver-based data center operator Cologix. Prior to Net Access, he was the CEO of Voxel dot Net, Inc., a global managed hosting and cloud company, which was acquired by Internap Network Services Corp. in early 2012. Mr. Martynek also served as the Chief Restructuring Officer of Smart Telecom, a Dublin, Ireland-based fiber carrier which was acquired by Digiweb in 2009. Before that he evaluated investment opportunities in the telecommunications and Internet sector as a Senior Advisor at Plainfield Asset Management, a $4B hedge fund. Prior to Plainfield, Mr. Martynek spent 13 years with telecom and Internet provider InfoHighway Communications Corp; first as a Chief Operating Officer of Eureka Networks and then as President and Chief Executive Officer of InfoHighway. InfoHighway was acquired by Broadview Networks in 2007. Mr. Martynek earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Binghamton University and received a Master Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.

Sandy Thielamay is responsible for new product development and providing technology leadership for Infomart Data Centers' operations teams. In addition, Mr. Thielamay is leading the design, build, and commercial go-to-market strategy of Infomart's channel partner initiative.

Mr. Thielamay's technical, business development and management experience has spanned Africa, Europe and North America. Prior to joining Infomart, he served as the Director, Central Region, for IPSoft. Previously, he was a General Manager at State Informatics Limited. He was also a partner and Vice President of Sales at KlioSoft Inc., and the Vice President of Engineering and CTO of Totality, Inc., where he directed all network architecture and implementation for clients.

Nat Tafuri

Nat Tafuri joined the company as part of its recent acquisition of Zayo’s colocation segment, zColo. In his role, Nat leads global data center operations for the DataBank portfolio, which includes more than 60 facilities in North America and Europe. Mr. Tafuri is responsible for managing teams that oversee engineering, construction, maintenance, service delivery, and data center operations. With nearly 30 years of experience, Mr. Tafuri has held leadership positions with telecommunications and data center companies beginning with MFS Communications in 1991. At MFS, he managed the national deployment of switch and colocation facilities during deregulation in the telecommunications industry. Mr. Tafuri held a similar role with Level 3 Communications building facilities across their national network. When he joined Zayo Group in 2009, Mr. Tafuri took on the challenge of network deployment across all cell tower projects in the United States for the Fiber-to-the-Tower (FTT) group. In 2011, he led the launch of Zayo’s colocation business which included responsibility for due diligence and integration efforts for Zayo’s data center acquisitions.

Ed d’Agostino joined DE-CIX North America in April 2014 and has since been responsible for driving the business to become the largest and fastest growing IX in the New York metro market with over 220 networks connected. DE-CIX Dallas, launched in 2016, now with 70 networks and one of the top 20 exchanges in North America, DE-CIX is the fastest growing IX in each market.

Prior to joining DE-CIX North America Mr d’Agostino was the Director of Sales, IP Exchange Services, for Arbinet (now PTGi), where he directed sales for IP Exchange Services initially in New York and later throughout the US.

Before joining Arbinet, Mr. d’Agostino was the Director of Business Development for CRG West, a unit of the Carlyle Group (now CoreSite) where he led numerous initiatives in carrier hotels around the country including One Wilshire. Prior to joining CRG West, Mr. d’Agostino was Director of Carrier Product Marketing at Metromedia Fiber Network (then AboveNet, now Zayo) where he was in charge of all carrier products throughout the US including metro rings, colocation, regional long-haul, and long-haul wavelength services.

Mr. d’Agostino earned a M.B.A. from the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College. He currently resides in Washington DC.

Bryan Marsh is our Managing Director of North America and is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, structuring, financing and executing acquisition, expansion and leasing activities on behalf of the company. With his nearly 40 years of real estate experience, he has been directly involved in approximately $7 billion in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, financings and asset management.

Prior to StratCap Data Centers, Bryan was a Vice President at Digital Realty where he served as the company’s Portfolio Manager for its U.S. Central region. In this capacity, he had overall responsibility for the strategic planning, acquisitions, dispositions, development, operation, leasing and financial performance of a portfolio of data centers, internet gateways and powered base buildings valued in excess of $5 billion. His portfolio ranged in size from 40 to 55 buildings and from 5.8 million to 8.1 million square feet with annual operating revenues ranging from $400 million to $600 million.

Prior to joining Digital Realty, Bryan was a Senior Vice President and Partner at Equastone, a private equity firm, where he was involved in the acquisition and asset management of a 4.3 million square foot office portfolio in Dallas valued at over $600 million. At that time, Equastone was the city’s 3rd largest office landlord with 21 buildings spread across most of the city’s major submarkets.

He also was formerly a Vice President with RREEF, a pension fund advisor and investment management firm, where he led an office that managed over 18 million square feet of office and industrial space in Texas and Oklahoma. Bryan personally oversaw a roughly 9 million square foot portfolio valued at approximately $500 million. Bryan has closed real estate transactions in over 250 cities and 15 states during his career. He is a past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, and he also served on the Board of Directors of Tech Titans which is the largest technology trade association in North Texas. He has been recognized for each of the past 5 years as a member of the Dallas 500 which is a list of the most powerful and influential business leaders in the DFW metro area according to D CEO Magazine. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major in finance and real estate.

Over his 30-year career, James Leach has been part of the core teams developing internet, telecommunications, and infrastructure solutions, including: DNS security, global web domains, performance monitoring, industry vertical solutions, content delivery networks (CDN), virtual private networks (VPN), cloud computing, and data center colocation. Mr. Leach spent the first 15 years of his career at IBM, starting out as an engineer and then moving into sales, business development, and marketing. For the last 15 years, James has been a top marketing executive at Savvis, Internap, Neustar, Harris Corporation, and now RagingWire. At RagingWire, Mr. Leach is the overall marketing leader responsible for a data center portfolio of 1.5 million square feet and 113 megawatts of critical power in the United States and a global data center platform of 140 locations in 19 countries and regions as part of the Nexcenter brand of NTT Communications. In addition to his duties at RagingWire, Mr. Leach serves as the Chairperson of the Leadership Board for the Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure Committee of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), one of the largest and most influential technology associations in the United States. Bryan Loewen is a 25-year veteran of the data center industry. Most recently, Bryan raised a discretionary data center real estate fund. He leverages vast experience and tenant relationships in this asset class to acquire data center properties across North America and Europe. To date, the fund has acquired six assets, including four carrier hotels and two traditional data centers. The investment thesis focuses on value-add opportunities, specifically highly interconnected data centers and owning the dominant colocation property in secondary or edge markets.
