John Sheputis is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Primary Digital Infrastructure, an independent data center investment platform. From 2019 through 2023, John was a Managing Director at GI Partners where he led the technology real estate acquisitions and headed the Essential Tech + Science Real Estate Fund. Prior to GI Partners, Mr. Sheputis was President of Infomart Data Centers. In 2018, the Dallas Infomart was acquired by Equinix and the remaining Infomart assets and operations were acquired by IPI Partners to be the initial properties for STACK Infrastructure. Prior to Infomart, Mr. Sheputis was Co-Founder and CEO of Fortune Data Centers. Mr. Sheputis received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA and an MS Engineering from Northwestern.

Carrie (Higbie) Goetz, principal at StrategITcom, has been involved in the data center, cabling, compute and networking industries with over 30 years tenure shaping the technological futures of data centers, intelligent buildings and IT departments. Carrie has designed and audited multitudes of data centers for enterprise, colocation, hosting and cloud facilities. Her assistance is being utilized in the Financial, Government, Healthcare, Education, Gaming and Industrial/Manufacturing sectors with guidance in compliance related tasks. Her background encompasses roles as a programmer, web developer, consultant, project manager, and Fortune 500 executive running IT departments and data centers with multi-million-dollar budgets. She has taught at a collegiate level and developed and delivered hundreds of hours of curriculum across the globe.

Carrie was awarded an honorary doctorate from AATCU for contributions to the industry and is their Vice Chairperson and Chair of the STEM Education Initiative. Jim Jindrick is a Director of Corporate Engagement at the University of Arizona. He has 30+ years experience in electronics research and development, real-time multitasking software operating systems, product engineering, manufacturing operations, international marketing, and new business venture development. He has launched internal corporate ventures, spin-off and spin-in companies, and independent startups. Products and ventures he developed have generated well over a billion dollars lifetime revenue to date. Jim Fletcher joined Momenta Partners as a Strategy Partner, in the office of the CTO. in 2017. He most recently served IBM as an IBM Distinguished Engineer and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the IBM Watson Internet of Things Platform. In this role, Jim had responsibility for the architecture and technical direction for IBM’s Internet of Things platform including identifying technologies, architecture, M&A and strategic partnerships. During his career at IBM, Jim served in executive management and technical leadership positions in areas of networking, IT systems management, and pervasive computing. Jim holds over 60 patents, is an IBM Master Inventor, and member of the IBM Academy.

Robert M. Jackson is executive vice president, general counsel and secretary at CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE), a data center real estate investment trust (REIT) headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Robert is responsible for providing leadership on legal matters including transactions, governance, compliance, litigation and risk management.

Before joining CyrusOne in 2015, Robert was executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Storage Post, a privately held owner and operator of self-storage facilities headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, where he led the legal, accounting and human resources functions.

He also served as senior vice president and general counsel of Cousins Properties Inc., an Atlanta-based REIT (NYSE: CUZ), where he was responsible for the delivery of comprehensive legal services and provided executive leadership to the human resources and information technology departments.

At Troutman Sanders LLP, an international law firm also headquartered in Atlanta, Robert specialized in partnerships and joint ventures. He advised public and private clients in tax, corporate and real estate matters.

Arman Khalili is the Founder and CEO of Foundation Data Center and is a Board Member of Evocative and brings with him over 25 years of experience in Internet Infrastructure industry.

Prior to joining the company, Arman served as a Principal at Industry Capital a real assets based private equity firm in San Francisco. He was the founder and CEO of CentralColo also known as Element Critical. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Black Lotus, a leader in DDoS mitigation company, which was acquired by Level 3, and was the Founder/CEO of UnitedLayer, the largest privately held colocation provider in San Francisco. He was the founder of Sirius – one of the first ISPs in Silicon Valley, as well as the Co-founder and CTO of MusicBank, the first music subscription company. He has held numerous senior consulting positions at Level3, AT&T and Apple Computers.

Lance Black is President and CEO of VAZATA, founded by him in 2000. Raul Martynek joined DataBank in June of 2017 as the Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he provides overall strategic direction of the company and its operations. Raul is a 25+ year veteran in the telecom and Internet Infrastructure sector. He most recently served as a Senior Advisor for Digital Bridge Holdings LLC. Prior to Digital Bridge, he served as Chief Executive Officer for New Jersey-based data center and managed services operator Net Access, LLC. Net Access was acquired in November 2015 by Denver-based data center operator Cologix. Prior to Net Access, he was the CEO of Voxel dot Net, Inc., a global managed hosting and cloud company, which was acquired by Internap Network Services Corp. in early 2012. Mr. Martynek also served as the Chief Restructuring Officer of Smart Telecom, a Dublin, Ireland-based fiber carrier which was acquired by Digiweb in 2009. Before that he evaluated investment opportunities in the telecommunications and Internet sector as a Senior Advisor at Plainfield Asset Management, a $4B hedge fund. Prior to Plainfield, Mr. Martynek spent 13 years with telecom and Internet provider InfoHighway Communications Corp; first as a Chief Operating Officer of Eureka Networks and then as President and Chief Executive Officer of InfoHighway. InfoHighway was acquired by Broadview Networks in 2007. Mr. Martynek earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Binghamton University and received a Master Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.

In his role as president of Europe, Tesh is responsible for creating a European organization that is inclusive of strategy, site selection, sales, construction, design, operations, finance, HR and legal. Tesh will be instilling the fantastic CyrusOne culture into our European operations as well as helping facilitate the growth in that region. Since his hiring in September, 2012 the company’s revenues have more than tripled. Those gains were generated by a combination of rapid sales growth and the acquisitions of data center providers Sentinel and Cervalis as well as the data center assets of CME Group Inc.’s financial trading campus. Tesh led the three acquisitions, which totaled over $1 Billion.

Throughout his career Tesh has specialized in implementing growth strategies for internet infrastructure businesses. Prior to joining CyrusOne Tesh was chief marketing and business officer for Quality Technology Services (now QTS Data Centers), creating and executing the go-to-market strategy paving the way for that company’s evolution from a closely held, private equity-backed organization, to IPO.

Tesh was previously chief marketing and business officer for Telx, a colocation and interconnection provider. He joined Telx by way of acquisition, when Telx and Digital Realty Trust acquired the interconnection businesses and data center business, respectively, of NYC-Connect, a New York City based data center and interconnection provider founded by Tesh. Prior to starting NYC-Connect, he held management positions at AboveNet (acquired by Zayo), Sprint, and Metromedia Fiber Networks.

Tesh is a graduate of Syracuse University and has completed executive education programs at Columbia Business School and Stanford School of Business. He lives with his wife and three sons in Greenwich, Connecticut, and has been involved in charities dedicated to homelessness, autism awareness, and cancer research. Tesh has been a youth football coach for over ten years and having been a fan of the New England Patriots through interminable 1-15 and 2-14 seasons, he now thoroughly enjoys the team’s consistent success.

Over his 30-year career, James Leach has been part of the core teams developing internet,

telecommunications, and infrastructure solutions, including: DNS security, global web domains,

performance monitoring, industry vertical solutions, content delivery networks (CDN), virtual

private networks (VPN), cloud computing, and data center colocation.

Mr. Leach spent the first 15 years of his career at IBM, starting out as an engineer and then

moving into sales, business development, and marketing. For the last 15 years, James has been

a top marketing executive at Savvis, Internap, Neustar, Harris Corporation, and now

RagingWire.

Cody Schnakenburg is Critical Environment Manager for QTS where he is responsible for day-to-day operation of a 990,000 sqft facility. Prior to joining QTS, he served at INAP as Vice President of Data Center Operations where he was responsible for Engineering and Operations across 37 geographically dispersed facilities. He has also served at zColo—a business unit of Zayo—where his roles included CTO, Vice President of Engineering, and Regional Director of Operations and Engineering. During his tenure there, he led a team of more than 90 geographically dispersed ops professionals in the management and support of 22 data center facilities. With more than 15 years of experience in data center engineering and operations, Schnakenburg has also played an integral role in the construction and expansion of multiple data centers across the U.S., managing large, cross-functional resource teams and comprehensive, multimillion dollar capital budgets.

Sean Khurana is President and Chief Operating Officer of Cavern Technologies. Sean oversees daily operations and ongoing development initiatives to maintain and expand Cavern’s position as a leading data center solutions provider. Sean is dedicated to leading innovation in the industry and providing customers with product and service offerings that are second to none.

Mr. Khurana has a strong background in leading major business initiatives for large startups and Fortune 500 firms. His expertise in building businesses around new products, technologies, and customer segments are valuable assets. Most recently, Khurana was Senior VP for Avatron Park, a mega startup theme park based in Atlanta, GA. Prior positions included VP, Product Marketing for Cablevision in New York, NY, and VP, Strategic Programs and Business Operations for Sprint-Nextel, in Overland Park, KS. At QTS, he is responsible for Corporate Development, Construction, Design and Strategy, as well as Strategic Procurement.

Andrew has been practicing law at large law firms and in-house at technology and venture capital firms in the US and Europe for almost 20 years. In 2000, he was a founding Board member of iWorld Group, an investment fund focused on mobile applications. From 2007- 2009, Andrew served as CEO of Straitshot Communications, a Seattle network services company. Andrew has a JD, magna cum laude, from the Washington College of Law. He earned a BA from Emory University and was a Lecturer in Public Speaking and Director of Debate at Stanford University.

Ryan is the Senior Vice President of Revenue for EdgeCore Internet Real Estate. In this capacity, Ryan is accountable and provides strategic direction for the sales, marketing, and product functions of the company. Prior to EdgeCore, Ryan was Vice President and Group Head of the General Management function at CoreSite Realty Corporation where he was a member of CoreSite’s Senior Leadership Team. Prior to CoreSite, Ryan worked in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group at Wachovia Securities / Wells Fargo.

Hugh has nearly 20 years of cross-industry technology experience, from data networking to fiber optics to wireless infrastructure. He spent the early half of his career in Silicon Valley, helping to start and grow several start-ups in Silicon Valley, such as ONI Systems and FiberTower. In these roles Hugh helped bridge the gap between the state of technology its implementation to drive the technology’s adoption in the market. After this, Hugh held a senior leadership role at Fujitsu Network Communications, launching Fujitsu’s multi-technology solutions organization. Applying the lessons learned through these various experiences, Hugh is adapting how data centers will meet the growing and changing requirements of today’s businesses. He received his A.B. and B.E. in Engineering from Dartmouth College and his Master in Engineering Management from the Thayer School of Engineering and Tuck School of Business. Hugh, his wife, and his two daughters reside in Dallas, Texas.

Andy MacDonald is a Regional Sales Manager for STULZ USA, a Global Manufacturer that is

joined STULZ in 2017, managing our Indirect Rep Organizations throughout Central and

Western North America and is actively promoting cost effective solutions within our industry.

With over a decade of data center real estate experience, ranging from all aspects of brokerage (investment sales/acquisitions/dispositions, tenant rep, agency leasing, global consulting, and economic incentive negotiations) to development and investment, Brian is 1547 Critical System Realty’s Director of Real Estate and is responsible for the firm’s global activities in acquisitions, site selection, and investment strategy. 1547 is a leading data center owner and operator of custom-designed data centers with over 750,000 square feet of data center space under development in Orangeburg, NY, Chicago, IL, Cheyenne, WY, San Francisco, CA, Toronto, ON, and Kapolei, HI (AlohaNAP). Brian is a graduate of TCU (BBA and Japanese), and also possesses dual master’s degrees from Arizona State (MBA) and SMU (MA in International Economics and Policy).

Stuart is a Director of Sales for Aligned Energy’s Colocation and Build to Scale data center solutions group. He is a mechanical engineer with a master’s degree from the University of Exeter, a corresponding member of Ashrae’s TC9.9 Technical Committee and a member of Infrastructure Masons. At Aligned Energy, Stuart is focused on demonstrating how their proprietary cooling technology creates future-proofed data centers that adapt to the dynamic capacity needs of both Hyperscale Cloud Service Providers and enterprise organizations. Through a innovative approach to heat removal and rejection, Aligned Energy is raising the bar in vertical expansion with up to 50kW per rack, resulting in tailored, right sized solutions that improve efficiency, reduce expense, and ultimately give their clients a competitive edge. Prior to joining Aligned Energy, Stuart was Key Account Manager at Munters where he was integrally involved with the selection and design of custom data center cooling solutions for a multitude of enterprise and colocation data center providers. Stuart has a passion for delivering energy efficient, adaptive and sustainable data center solutions that deliver bottom line growth for his clients.

Jeff Moerdler is chair of the Haynes Boone Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice and a real estate partner in the New York office. He has more than 40 years’ experience in general commercial real estate law. Jeff’s real estate practice includes acquisitions, sales, development, leasing, and borrower’s side financing. Jeff also has a particular focus on real estate challenges facing communications, technology and energy companies, and represents property owners and telecom companies in telecom real estate matters, particularly in data center development, acquisitions, sales, leases, colocation agreements and service level agreements. His clients include both large national companies and smaller, local clients, and includes representation of landlords and tenants in all types of leases; counseling owners and developers in the acquisition, sale, joint venture, development, and renovation of property as well as sale-leaseback transactions; advising lenders and borrowers in commercial loans; and the representation of all parties in real estate litigation. He is actively involved in settling real estate, partnership, and inter-family disputes. He also represents many not-for-profit entities and is active in health care, senior living, and educational real estate.

During the past 35 years, Jeff has developed considerable experience in the intersection of real estate with communications, technology, and energy issues. He has extensive experience representing landlords, tenants, developers, and communications service providers in the leasing, purchase, sale, and financing of data centers, colocation facilities, radio and television broadcast antennas, distributed and in-building wireless systems, rooftop antennas, and fiber-optic transactions as well as the wiring of buildings for broadband communications access. Jeff has also negotiated thousands of data center leases, master services agreements, colocation agreements and service level agreements, rooftop and cellular antenna leases, inside wiring agreements, and antenna tower leases throughout the country – covering over 500 million square feet.

He has also devoted a considerable portion of his practice to power and energy issues related to real estate and other technology matters, including large solar and wind installations, battery storage facilities, and bulk power purchases.

Jeff is a frequent speaker on real estate, data center, and telecom topics around the country. He is Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and on the faculty of the Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute. He regularly speaks as a panelist at data center, digital infrastructure and real estate conference around the United States. In addition, he is regularly quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bisnow, Commercial Property News, Real Estate Weekly, and other publications. He co-authored the first treatise chapter on telecom real law for Powell on Real Property in 1999.

Jeff has previously served in numerous governmental positions, including as a Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, a member of the New York State Banking Board, a member of the New York State Financial Control Board, a member of the Departmental Disciplinary Committee of the Appellate Division of the First Department of the New York State Supreme Court, Assistant to the First Deputy Mayor of the City of New York, and assistant to the Deputy Borough President of the Borough of Manhattan. From 1981 to 1982, Jeff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, US District Judge, and later Chief Judge, for the Southern District of New York.

Jeff is also an emergency medical technician on his local volunteer ambulance and President of his local chapter, as well as having served for 8 years on the Board of Trustees of the umbrella organization which is the largest volunteer ambulance service in the United States.

John is a mission critical Project Executive and Central Region leader for the Advanced

Technology Core Market at DPR Construction, one of the top technical builders and #3 ranked

data center and telecommunications contractor in the U.S. (ENR 2017).

With 17 years of industry experience, John has built data centers for industry leaders such as

Equinix, Digital Realty, Facebook, Ebay, and the US Army Corps of Engineers. He serves as

Project Executive on several of DPR’s mission critical projects in Texas and his extensive

technical expertise includes project evaluation, scheduling, project logistics, cost control,

subcontractor management and strategic planning.

As a Principal at Page and Director of the Science and Technology sector, John has managed the design of over 30 data centers. Serving as Project Director for Mission Critical projects, John’s projects have accounted for more than $5 billion in construction throughout the United States and internationally. He is an expert in the design of mission critical facilities, secure compartmentalized information facilities (SCIFs), EMP shielding and the latest in data center cooling technologies including liquid immersion cooling. He is a founding board member of the 7X24 Exchange Central Texas Chapter, which supports the growing network of mission critical professionals and facilities in the Central Texas region.

Lonnie Satsky is a dedicated Project Executive for Turner Construction Company with 26 years of world-class industry experience. Ali is a Senior Vice President with JLL’s global Data Center Solutions

team. She has over eleven years of experience in the data center,

commercial real estate, private investment, technology and REIT

industries. She focuses on developing and executing for clients a full

range of data center services, including strategy development &

execution, site/provider selection, agreement negotiations, TCO

analysis, portfolio and asset valuation, due diligence, dispositions, DR &

hybrid IT/cloud deployments. She has strong financial skills when

evaluating various types of scenarios from valuation of portfolios,

underwriting dispositions, greenfield development, re-development,

colocation lease transactions, and hybrid scenarios.

Kylle Jordan is a Regional Business Development Manager for the Minnesota Department of

Employment and Economic Development (DEED).  In her role she works closely with companies of all

Shovel Ready program and is also the state’s industry specialist in Data Centers. Kylle works with many

data center developers and managers to grow and promote the State of Minnesota as an ideal location

for new projects, help them qualify for the state’s sales tax incentive program, and provide forums for
