Christopher is a Senior Program Manager with Microsoft. Prior to joining Microsoft, he was the Director of Data Center Services at Expedia, responsible for infrastructure support delivery to all Expedia brands including Expedia, Travelocity, trivago, Orbitz, Mobidata, Wotif.com, Traveldoo, Ebookers, CheapTickets, Hotwire.com, Hotels.com, etc.

Mr. Neil started his career 28 years ago as Electronic Technician at the US Navy, he worked nearly a decade at MAJIQ, before he took on the role of GIS – Infrastructure Platform Services Manager at Expedia where he succeeded for 6 years. He then became promoted to Manager, GIS – Infrastructure Capacity Management, Service Delivery Sr. Manager and now Director Data Center Services for Expedia Inc. With nearly three decades of solid track record, serving some of the most mission critical applications.

Mr. Neil brings valuable expertise to IDCA’s Technical Standards Committee. His expertise and duties include but are not limited to managing data center operations ensuring 99.999% availability for all critical infrastructure, data center space planning, capacity and forecast modeling, developing and maintaining a 5 year Expedia data center strategy supporting trending and capacity management modeling, strategy planning and development of roadmaps for data center strategy, establishing operational standards, processes, intake and auditing programs in support of data center operations, selection, development and evaluation data center staff, and more.

Mr. Novick has over 30 years of experience in multiple facets of Electrical Engineering and Technical Management. Over the prior 8 years he has served as the Global Data Center Manager for BlackRock, Inc, where he is responsible for the design, construction and operation of BlackRock’s network of Data Centers. During this period, his team has acquired, or built, over two dozen Data Centers. His team has developed and implemented new cooling system technologies, new electrical distribution topologies and new monitoring systems that make these Data Centers among the most efficient in the world. He has now transitioned into a Technology Strategy role within the organization.

Prior to his work at BlackRock, Barry ran an engineering and contracting firm specializing in environmental control systems and Building Automation. His work included designing and implementing energy efficiency upgrades for HVAC systems, Chiller plants and Generation Facilities. Customers included major research and pharmaceutical laboratories and Electrical Utilities.

Mr. Novick received his Electrical Engineering degree from Cornell University. He is on the executive board of Westchester Day School. In his spare time he enjoys Bicycling, Kayaking and Skiing with his family.

Tony Rossabi is CEO of Recovery Point Group Holding Company, where he focuses on the growth of Recovery Point Systems, a leader in DRaaS, and other companies within the portfolio. A talented and seasoned executive, Rossabi brings over twenty years of experience in technology, communications, data center infrastructure sales, marketing, operations, and strategic planning. Prior positions include Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of TierPoint, Managing Director for Digital Realty Trust’s colocation and connectivity business unit (Telx), and Senior Vice President of Global Carrier Solutions at TATA Communications.

Miles Loo Jr., CRE, FRICS, joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2017 in the Downtown Los Angeles office, where he serves as Vice Chairman and the Global Lead for Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Data Centers & Life Science group. Miles is well recognized as the industry’s leading appraiser of data center properties. His experience includes advising private equity funds, institutional investors, large pension funds, Fortune 500 companies, cloud companies and Global IT conglomerates on investments in all types of data centers, including mission critical, disaster recovery data centers, colocation facilities, carrier hotels, internet gateways and life science properties. These assignments have involved data centers owned and/or operated by Fortune 500 companies across numerous industries as well as Uptime Institute Site Certified Tier III and Tier IV facilities; U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Platinum, Gold and Silver buildings; and state and federal disaster recovery data centers. Miles has led valuations of large individual and portfolio valuations spanning multiple countries across six continents (NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM and African regions) and has consulted on a number of the world’s largest data centers.

Mike Higgins is responsible for driving INAP’s top line growth through customer acquisition and retention. Mr. Higgins leads INAP COLO’s sales, solutions engineering and client account teams including overseeing the customer experience from initial solution design through onboarding and post-sales account management. He is a seasoned executive with extensive business development, financial analysis, product management and leadership experience in the data center and telecommunications industries. Mr. Higgins most recently served as INAP’s senior vice president of marketing and customer service, where he led marketing activities, communications, public relations, branding and strategic planning. Previously, he held the position of senior vice president of business development, where he drove technical customer solutions and customer retention strategies. In addition, Mr. Higgins also served as INAP’s senior vice president of data center services and was responsible for colocation product management and data center design and engineering. In this role, he led the data center expansion strategy which doubled the size of INAP’s data center footprint across the nation. He joined INAP in January 2004 as vice president of financial planning and analysis. Prior to INAP, Mr. Higgins held numerous leadership roles in business operations, business development and finance over an 18-year career span at MCI, most recently serving as vice president of business operations. Mr. Higgins holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Bridgeport and a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University.

Peter Feldman has 30+ years of data center development, operations, management and design experience, with a focus on implementing energy-efficient technology. He has held CEO, CTO, president and founding roles at several successful startups including the Telx group, a national leader in data center colocation services. Peter has additional expertise in optical and wireless network engineering, IT infrastructure management and cogeneration.

Prior to founding DataGryd, he served as the technical and business development interface with United Technologies Power for their hydrogen and natural gas fuel cell technology and CCHP micro-turbines, and worked with AMSC (formerly American Superconductor), a developer of superconducting cable, SMES and transformer technology for data centers. Peter holds several industry-related patents and is an active member of a number of professional trade organizations, including the IEEE, Open-IX, iMasons, AFCOM, the Green Building Council and the Cloud Computing Council. He’s given presentations at many industry events, including Interop New York, Green Data Center Conference & Exhibition, 7×24 Exchange, and IMN’s Financing, Investing & Real Estate Development for Data Centers Conference, PTC in Hawaii and for Data Center Dynamics conferences.

Andy Stewart joined Evoque Data Center Solutions in June 2020. As President & CEO, he is responsible for setting and managing the strategic priorities of the company, leading Evoque into its next phase of global growth and profitability. Andy is a results-driven executive with a unique mix of technology, finance, and operations experience.

Oversees the acquisition, financing, redevelopment and disposition of the company’s portfolio. Jerry is also Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Amerimar Enterprises, Inc. Prior to joining Amerimar in 1988, Jerry was with Dean Witter Realty, Inc., where he focused on real estate acquisitions, development and asset management. Jerry holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas with a major in real estate and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in finance.

Sonia Khanna is a Director in the Commercial Real Estate Lending division of CapitalSource. Based outside of Washington, DC, Ms. Khanna leads the commercial real estate originations effort in the Mid-Atlantic region. Ms. Khanna joined CapitalSource in 2007, and is responsible for originating and structuring non-recourse, balance sheet loans for the firm. Ms. Khanna is also co-leading a platform for lending on data center real estate assets with the Leveraged Finance Group at CapitalSource. Ms. Khanna began her career in 2001 with UBS Investment Bank as a structurer on the Mortgage Backed Securities trading desk. Ms. Khanna holds a BA in Mathematics from Barnard College and an MBA in Finance from The Kellogg School of Management.

Phil is a data center industry veteran with over 10 years advising end users and providers on their data center real estate needs.

As a broker with DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield), Phil advised clients on leases and MSAs representing over 100MW in Critical IT Load. In 2016, Phil joined Iron Mountain Data Centers to lead the company's local sales efforts, and more specifically the Financial Services vertical, which is Iron Mountain's largest vertical corporately. Due to his experience in brokerage, Phil is also involved with identifying new development sites and sale-leasebacks for Iron Mountain's fast-growing co-location and cloud businesses.

Phillip Koblence is a strategic executive and thought leader in the data center and network space. He co-founded NYI (www.nyi.net) in 1996 and has successfully navigated through an ever-shifting infrastructure landscape, growing the company from a single data center in Lower Manhattan to a robust network with executional capabilities in key national and international markets. His leadership, focus on customer experience, and ability to cut through complexity and hype, has positioned NYI as an industry leader in high-touch infrastructure solutions.

Phillip is also CEO of Critical Ventures, a consulting agency offering a range of services to help clients, owners and investors optimize the value of critical infrastructure assets. Phillip sits on the DE-CIX North America Advisory Board as well as on the Board of OIX (formerly Open-IX). Phillip is Co-Founder of the Nomad Futurist Foundation and Podcast, designed to demystify the world of critical infrastructure and inspire younger generations to join the industry. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been profiled by Data Center Knowledge, TheWHIR, MSPMentor, and NJ BIZ. He has an engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

As CEO and Managing Partner in fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty (1547), Todd is involved with running the operations of the business as well as business development and firm strategy. Mr. Raymond has a reputation of successfully building enterprise value, taking companies from start up to executing an exit strategy. Prior to joining 1547, Mr. Raymond served as CEO, President, COO, General Counsel, Controller and a Director of The Telx Group, Inc. during which time he guided the company through multiple financings, acquisitions, SEC registration and two sales to private equity firms. Prior to joining Telx, Mr. Raymond was a founder of Stratus Services Group, Inc., an engineering and staffing services company, and served as its General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. During his tenure, he guided Stratus through multiple private capital raises, the acquisition of over a dozen businesses, and in April 2000, the Initial Public Offering of the company’s stock on NASDAQ. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Fairfield University, a Juris Doctor (JD) from Albany Law School of Union University and is completing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Finance Law from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. He is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the Wine & Food Society of New York and the American Corporate Counsel Association as well as multiple bar and professional organizations.

Jeff is recognized as a leader in the hosting, colocation and managed services industries. Prior to leading AGILE, Jeff served as EVP and CTO for Directlink, taking the company from startup to a successful data center services provider with responsibilities including managing operations, sales, marketing and overall organizational direction. He brings more than 20 years’ experience to his current role. Jeff held similar roles with Champion Solutions Group as an overlay sales and engineering resource for the IBM Channel for the eastern US, supporting IBM sales teams in qualifying and developing Hosting, Collocation and Managed Services solutions. Prior to that Jeff was a Director of Hosting and Managed Services at AT&T when the industry began to take shape. He was instrumental in developing the data center markets in Secaucus and Ashburn in the late 90’s/ early 2000’s for AT&T, winning large hosting and services contract for enterprise clients as well as Internet startups that have grown into what is eBay today.

Over his 30-year career, James Leach has been part of the core teams developing internet, telecommunications, and infrastructure solutions, including: DNS security, global web domains, performance monitoring, industry vertical solutions, content delivery networks (CDN), virtual private networks (VPN), cloud computing, and data center colocation. Mr. Leach spent the first 15 years of his career at IBM, starting out as an engineer and then moving into sales, business development, and marketing. For the last 15 years, James has been a top marketing executive at Savvis, Internap, Neustar, Harris Corporation, and now RagingWire. At RagingWire, Mr. Leach is the overall marketing leader responsible for a data center portfolio of 1.5 million square feet and 113 megawatts of critical power in the United States and a global data center platform of 140 locations in 19 countries and regions as part of the Nexcenter brand of NTT Communications. In addition to his duties at RagingWire, Mr. Leach serves as the Chairperson of the Leadership Board for the Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure Committee of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), one of the largest and most influential technology associations in the United States. Mr. Leach also was nominated and approved by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors to be a member of the Executive Committee of the Loudoun Economic Development Advisory Commission (EDAC), and currently serves in that role.

Christian currently leads Core Network Planning and Implementation for Pilot Fiber, an Internet Service Provider that provides better internet to businesses in New York City and now Philadelphia.

Passionate about the Internet and bringing people together, he has also served on the Board of Directors for the Open-IX Association, a Non-Profit organization that develops and promotes Interconnection and Datacenter Standards. Over the past 15 years he has held various Strategy and Engineering roles at organizations such as Megaport, Microsoft, Twitter, and QTS Datacenters.

Grace Li, CFA, is a Vice President at Devonshire Investors, the private equity group for Fidelity Investments. The group oversees a multi-billion dollar portfolio of real estate, venture capital and wholly-owned operating companies. Grace is currently focused on the telecom investments at Devonshire Investors. The portfolio includes COLT Technology Services, a fiber-optic network provider throughout Europe and Asia and COLT Data Center Services, a carrier neutral data center operator throughout Europe and Asia, as well as other telecom-related investments. Earlier in her career, Grace worked in private equity focusing on hotel investments with Thayer Lodging Group, part of Brookfield Properties and in real estate debt financing with GMAC Capital Corp.

Sean Brady joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1980 and over the past three decades, has consistently finished in the top ranks in New Jersey and on a national basis. Mr. Brady is one of the founding members of C&W’s Global Data Center Advisory Group (GDCA Group) and has been working in this sector since 1995. He has served on several data center speaking panels and also been a moderator on several occasions. He has also published articles on the market and the industry. Mr. Brady holds degrees in Finance and Marketing with a Marine Biology minor, from Long Island University. He is the past President of the Industrial Office Real Estate Brokers Association of Metropolitan New York area; Committee Member on the Education, Annual Gala and Golf Committee for NAIOP; Member of the New Jersey Association for Corporate Growth; Boater Subcommittee Head for SwimAcross America’s Greenwich Swim, which raises money for cancer research; and volunteers along with his family to coordinate fundraising events for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Association for Fairfield County, CT.

Mehdi is Chairman of International Data Center Authority (IDCA). He provides guidance to the IDCA affairs and data center industry via his active presence, in-depth knowledge, diverse expertise and see-through vision. Mehdi’s thoughts are always highly educational and boldly progressive. When he speaks, he delivers exceptionally unique set of eye-opening speeches and lectures that are always life changing. He lectures globally and represents IDCA in summits, seminars, symposium and webinars. Meeting with governmental delegations, including Presidents, Prime Ministers, and Ministers with regards to digital economies, digital infrastructure, digital road-maps, data center and cloud strategies, national standardization and education programs on information technology, as well as discussions with C-Levels across the corporate arena are integral portions of Mehdi’s active role at IDCA. He oversees the developments of the IDCA boards and committees. He provides insight and supervision to the development of the data center standards and utilizes his knowhow, expertise and forward-looking strategies to empower and enable the development of the Application Ecosystem® industry, which is inclusive of information technology, data center, cloud, IoT, AI, etc.

Jeff Moerdler is chair of the Haynes Boone Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice and a real estate partner in the New York office. He has more than 40 years’ experience in general commercial real estate law. Jeff’s real estate practice includes acquisitions, sales, development, leasing, and borrower’s side financing. Jeff also has a particular focus on real estate challenges facing communications, technology and energy companies, and represents property owners and telecom companies in telecom real estate matters, particularly in data center development, acquisitions, sales, leases, colocation agreements and service level agreements. His clients include both large national companies and smaller, local clients, and includes representation of landlords and tenants in all types of leases; counseling owners and developers in the acquisition, sale, joint venture, development, and renovation of property as well as sale-leaseback transactions; advising lenders and borrowers in commercial loans; and the representation of all parties in real estate litigation. He is actively involved in settling real estate, partnership, and inter-family disputes. He also represents many not-for-profit entities and is active in health care, senior living, and educational real estate.

During the past 35 years, Jeff has developed considerable experience in the intersection of real estate with communications, technology, and energy issues. He has extensive experience representing landlords, tenants, developers, and communications service providers in the leasing, purchase, sale, and financing of data centers, colocation facilities, radio and television broadcast antennas, distributed and in-building wireless systems, rooftop antennas, and fiber-optic transactions as well as the wiring of buildings for broadband communications access. Jeff has also negotiated thousands of data center leases, master services agreements, colocation agreements and service level agreements, rooftop and cellular antenna leases, inside wiring agreements, and antenna tower leases throughout the country – covering over 500 million square feet.

He has also devoted a considerable portion of his practice to power and energy issues related to real estate and other technology matters, including large solar and wind installations, battery storage facilities, and bulk power purchases.

Jeff is a frequent speaker on real estate, data center, and telecom topics around the country. He is Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and on the faculty of the Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute. He regularly speaks as a panelist at data center, digital infrastructure and real estate conference around the United States. In addition, he is regularly quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bisnow, Commercial Property News, Real Estate Weekly, and other publications. He co-authored the first treatise chapter on telecom real law for Powell on Real Property in 1999.

Jeff has previously served in numerous governmental positions, including as a Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, a member of the New York State Banking Board, a member of the New York State Financial Control Board, a member of the Departmental Disciplinary Committee of the Appellate Division of the First Department of the New York State Supreme Court, Assistant to the First Deputy Mayor of the City of New York, and assistant to the Deputy Borough President of the Borough of Manhattan. From 1981 to 1982, Jeff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, US District Judge, and later Chief Judge, for the Southern District of New York.

Jeff is also an emergency medical technician on his local volunteer ambulance and President of his local chapter, as well as having served for 8 years on the Board of Trustees of the umbrella organization which is the largest volunteer ambulance service in the United States.

Stephen Campbell is a Business Development Manager with Con Edison’s Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Program. Previously, Stephen worked at Lockheed Martin where he served as an Energy Advisor & Sales Team Leader for 4 and half years while implementing Con Edison’s Commercial and Industrial & Demand Management Energy Efficiency Programs. He also assisted with Lockheed Martin’s implementation of the Pepco/Delmarva Energy Efficiency Program in Maryland. Stephen has worked on various energy projects in New York City and Westchester County. Stephen graduated from Manhattan College with a degree in Marketing and served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps, where he achieved the rank of Sergeant. Stephen currently lives in New Rochelle.

Hunter Newby is an American entrepreneur, investor, conservationist and the owner of Newby Ventures. His primary field of interest has been network infrastructure. As Co-Founder, Chief Strategy Officer and a Director of Telx, he pioneered the carrier-neutral Meet-Me-Room and the development of carrier hotels and data centers in the United States leading to massive value creation and economic development throughout the Country. Since the sale of Telx he has been and continues to be a founder, developer and investor in the creation of multiple network-neutral infrastructure businesses all across North America.

Mr. Newby is a recognized authority in the network-neutral interconnection and data center industry. He has served on multiple company boards, is a published author, public speaker and has been quoted in several publications including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and USA Today. He has also been the recipient of numerous awards including being named to the Global Telecoms Business Top 40 Under 40 in 2010.

Mr. Newby earned a B.S. in Communications from Drexel University.

Andrew is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Investment Banking team in the Americas. Andrew invests a significant amount of time in the data center sector, where he is focused on strategic advisory and capital markets client coverage for the firm’s clients. Andrew joined Deutsche Bank in 2006, where he spent four years in London before moving to New York in 2010.

Jeff is an experienced Enterprise Technology Leader with a demonstrated history of accomplishments in the financial services industry with skills in IT Infrastructure Management, IT Strategy, Data Center, Management, and Project Portfolio Management. He is a strong business development professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Applied Math from SUNY Albany and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) focused in Management Information Systems from Pace University. Jeff is currently the President of J & A Resiliency Partners, a firm that he founded, where he provides advisory services on Operational Resiliency, focusing on virtualization techniques, Data Center Operations and Relocations, Business Continuity planning and Vendor Management. Previously, Jeff has worked at Brown Brothers Harriman where he was the Managing Director of Enterprise Functions where he focused on all aspects of Infrastructure Support which included managing 16 data centers around the globe and all hardware and software that ran in those data centers. Jeff also worked at Salomon Brothers as a senior vice president responsible for Enterprise Systems support.
