Darren founded CrowdStreet in 2012 after identifying the need to radically improve people’s access to commercial real estate investments via technology. Over his 20+ year career, Darren has transacted billions of dollars’ worth of commercial real estate investments and enterprise software contracts. Darren is a driven leader who loves building relationships based on mutual success. In addition to building businesses, leading teams and advising a prestigious list of national clients, Darren has personally owned commercial real estate, syndicated investment groups and developed properties from the ground up.

Prior to founding CrowdStreet, Darren served as President of Compass Commercial, a full-service commercial real estate services company. Darren launched his career in software at Oracle/ATG in San Francisco where he managed 17 sales people while performing as an individual top-producer. An entrepreneur at heart, Darren started his first profitable business at 19 years old in Boulder, CO.

Darren is a graduate of the Leeds Business School at the University of Colorado, Boulder and a CCIM designee, a recognized expert in investment real estate. Darren is a full member at Urban Land Institute.

Anna-Marie Allander Lieb

Anna-Marie is the Director of Investments sitting on CrowdStreet's Investment Committee while also managing the team responsible for identifying and reviewing sponsor offerings for the CrowdStreet marketplace. Prior to joining CrowdStreet, Anna-Marie worked for the Tax Credit Investment Group at PNC where she specialized in underwriting innovative tax credit equity and debt financing solutions for Historic Tax Credit, and Low Income Housing Tax Credit investments. Anna-Marie started her real estate career in Boston where she was a member of the CBRE New England Capital Markets Team. Anna-Marie holds a B.Sc. in Economics with a concentration in Real Estate from the Wharton School of Business.

Jack Chandler

Jack Chandler is the Founder of Majesteka Investments Holdings, a private firm providing integrated

strategic leadership and capital for emerging disruptive companies at the intersection of real estate,

asset management, and technology. Since its founding in 2017, Majesteka has made investments and is

serving in either a Board capacity or as Senior Advisor to a broad range of technology enabled real

estate firms.

Prior to forming Majesteka, Jack was Chairman of BlackRock's Global Real Estate business with a focus

on the strategic development of the platform as well as investment and client activities. He served as a

member of the BlackRock Real Estate Global Executive Committee, the BlackRock Alternative

Investment Executive Committee, and the BlackRock Alternative Investment Committee. He joined

BlackRock in 2011 as a Managing Director and Global Head of Real Estate with responsibilities for the

business and investment performance of the platform, as well as for developing and executing a

strategic plan with resulted in doubling the platform AUM during his tenure.

Prior to joining BlackRock in 2011, Mr. Chandler held various positions with LaSalle Investment

Management during his 25-year tenure, most recently as the Global Chief Investment Officer and

Executive Chairman for Asia Pacific, where he oversaw the firm's principal investment activities and risk

management process, and was deeply involved in investment strategy and investor relations for the Asia

Pacific region. In addition, he oversaw LaSalle’s capital raising team which created and raised capital for

new products and vehicles to expand LaSalle's investors' access to attractive investment opportunities

around the globe.

From 2000 until 2010, Mr. Chandler was based in Singapore as the Chief Executive Officer for LaSalle

Investment Management - Asia Pacific, the platform he founded on behalf of the firm. During his tenure,

he built the business into a US$7.4 billion AUM enterprise with six commingled funds and more than 200

employees based in six offices across the region. Prior to relocating to Asia in 2000, he was Managing

Director for the firm's direct investment activities in the US.

Mr. Chandler is a founding member of the Asian Real Estate Association, has served in a variety of roles

including Chairman of the Americas Board, member of the Global Board of Trustees and Treasurer for

the Urban Land Institute, Executive Committee member at the Wharton School Real Estate Center, and

member of the Pension Real Estate Association.

Mr. Chandler earned a BS in Industrial Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of

Massachusetts and an MBA from Harvard University.

Marci Griffith Loeber

Managing Principal

As Managing Principal of Griffith Properties, Marci oversees all of the firm’s activities including fundraising, investments and executing the strategies for Griffith Properties Funds. She brings 32 years of experience in principal investing, disposition, valuation and brokerage involving over 525 transactions representing $26 billion of assets. Since 2010, Marci has been operating Griffith Properties as a Women-owned enterprise.

From 1993 to 2009 Marci was an investment sales broker, most recently with Cushman & Wakefield and formerly with Fallon Hines & O’Connor/Trammell Crow Company. In the course of her 18-year Brokerage career Marci closed over 500 investment sales transactions totaling in excess of $25.0 billion and was named by Real Estate Forum as one of the country’s “Superstar” investment sales brokers in three consecutive years. While a Principal at TCC, Marci was ranked among the Top 3 Producers nationwide from 1998 through 2000. She was member of the team recognized by the GBREB’s Commercial Leasing and Investment Committee for closing “The Investment Sales Deal of the Year” multiple times: 1994 (for the $64.6 million Latham Farms Power Center sale in Albany, NY); 1995 (for the $163 million sale of Bay Colony Corporate Center in Waltham, MA); 1996 (for the $91 million Druker 1031 Exchange in Boston); 1999 (for the $403 million MGI New England Portfolios) and 2006 (for the $600 million Technology Square transaction).

Community Service and Professional Affiliations include: Member, Urban Land Institute (ULI); Member and Past President, Real Estate Finance Association (REFA); Member and Past President, NAIOP of MA; Committee Member, Champions for Children’s, Children’s Hospital Boston; Member, Real Estate Committee for Archdiocese of Boston; Board of Trustees, Noble and Greenough School.

In 2000, Marci—along with her father and sister—received the Robert Swain Award for her contribution and achievements in the real estate industry.

Marci is a 1989 graduate of Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and a minor in Mathematics. She lives in Weston with her husband, Franz, and her three children.
