As an award-winning architect with over 35 years of experience with a wide-range of building types, Michel’s training in both architecture and interior design has assisted clients on numerous corporate, institutional, educational, healthcare and hospitality projects. Michel’s leadership style is to actively orchestrate the design through strong, interactive and collaborative team development of all the various professional disciplines. This approach enables the team to discover the most creative and useful solutions to each of the client’s pragmatic needs. It is then necessary to possess the energy and drive to usher the design intent consistently through all aspects of the building process. Throughout his career, Michel has integrated teaching with his professional practice. He has taught design studios and classes at institutions like Princeton, NJIT, and The University of Virginia, and currently serves as an Associate Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Katherine has been in the AEC and lighting design industry for over 15 years. She is a leader in HLB Lighting Design's Denver office and has a strong focus on project management, client care, market research, geographic business expansion, and business development. Katherine currently sits on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit The Business of Light. She has recently taken part in speaking at LightFair, Enlighten Americas, Neo Con, Invest in Women Forum, and ArchLight.

Mike Fraze is one of the founding principals of Studio Outside. Drawing

inspiration from his children, as well as his own childhood, Mike’s work

creates both physical and cognitive bonds between people and their

surrounding environment. He develops his projects as sequences of

experiences rather than solely two- dimensional compositional studies.

Prior to founding Studio Outside, Mike oversaw the development of

mesa’s environmental education and parks studio from 1996 to 2010. Mike

expanded the firm’s depth of work through an approach to site planning

that emphasized the blending of ecology, culture, and perspective

into regionally unique and educational experiences. In addition to

his environmental work, Mike has lead several civic planning efforts

throughout the state and the metroplex. His work has focused on the

creation of place as it relates to social and economic values.

Throughout his forty years of practice, Gregory Ibañez, FAIA, has

become a recognized design leader and passionate advocate

for progressive architecture within both the profession and the

community. His work has been recognized and published widely.

Greg has developed an approach that is driven by program and

characterized by formal restraint, frank and inventive detailing,

and an abiding reverence for the experience of the occupants.

In an era of ever-increasing specialization within the profession,

Greg practices architecture as a generalist. His projects are

diverse in every way- location, type, scale and budget- including

buildings for universities, corporations, arts organizations, and

homeowners. Greg has also practiced internationally, designing

projects in Europe, Asia and Mexico.

His significant body of work led to his elevation to the AIA College

of Fellows in 2012 for achievement in design. He is past Chair of the

Fort Worth Public Art Commission, and has led studios at Texas

Tech University and the University of Texas at Arlington. Greg has

also served as Contributing Editor to Texas Architect Magazine

and has been a guest speaker for the Dallas Architecture Forum

and the Texas Society of Architects Convention.

With 18 years of professional experience in interior design, Jesse Neargarder is a seasoned expert renowned for his exceptional work across a diverse array of projects. In 2016, Jesse, alongside his partner Eugenio Reyes Retana, co-founded Foxcroft, a design firm dedicated to creating captivating hospitality interiors that leave a lasting impression. Since then, they have led numerous successful restaurant projects throughout the United States, showcasing their ability to seamlessly blend creativity with functionality to elevate the dining experience. With a portfolio spanning various sectors, Jesse brings a distinctive perspective to every project, infusing each space with a rich narrative and purpose. He is deeply passionate about harnessing design to evoke emotion and foster meaningful connections.

A former Regional Practice Area Leader for Financial Services Firms, Lillian also has expertise in all workplace interiors including technology, product development, legal, and management services. She received her Bachelor of Interior Design from Louisiana State University.

With almost 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Crystal specializes in overseeing marketing relations, public relations, digital marketing, company outreach, event management and more. Her career has included various marketing and training roles throughout the Houston and Austin areas, where she has implemented comprehensive marketing campaigns and spearheaded local and statewide training initiatives. Crystal is an active member of the Association of Commercial Realtors, Associated Builders and Contractors and is actively involved in ongoing community initiatives in Missouri City. She proudly volunteers with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Saving Our Companion Animals. Since joining KPF in 2005, Forth has distinguished himself as a leader in the design and management of impactful urban projects around the world. He brings a programmatic emphasis to every project he leads, utilizing a communicative and engaged approach.

Forth has a particular interest in issues of density, the intersection of public and private space, and the intricate programmatic relationships within the contemporary city. His experience across sectors, from boutique residential and hospitality complexes to headquarters and commercial projects, is focused on the successful realization of mixed-use lifestyle districts and developments.

An expert at assembling and leading large teams of architects and consultants, Forth has delivered multiple city-defining projects, including the master and retail planning of Hudson Yards in New York, the continuous development of Hong Kong’s Landmark and Victoria Dockside districts, and the massive new Changi Terminal 5 in Singapore. His portfolio also includes large master plans in Santa Clara and San Jose, California; Dallas’s North End and Knox Districts: Shanghai’s Xuhui and Xintiandi districts; and significant work in the Middle East.

Forth’s hotel and residential projects around the world are guided by his appreciation of mixed-use programs as the driving force of the contemporary global city. Building on the firm’s partnership with renowned brands, Forth has delivered iconic hotel and residential projects in Hong Kong, Houston, Bangkok, Tel Aviv, Austin, Miami, Seoul, and Guangzhou.

He has led the design and delivery of impactful urban retail and lifestyle environments from Hong Kong to Vancouver, and Bangkok to London. Similarly, his office projects in Washington DC, Toronto, Vancouver, and Tampa are informed by this sensibility.

Forth is a frequent speaker for organizations and conferences such as ULI, MIPIM, New York’s Urban Design Forum, and CTBUH, sharing his expertise and passion for architecture that enhances the vitality of its city. He co-edited Perspecta 38 through the Yale School of Architecture, where he is a frequent guest critic and where he has twice taught as the Eero Saarinen Visiting Professor. He has lectured at Yale and Harvard and is a frequent guest critic at several universities. He annually teaches the course “The Value of Design” for Columbia University’s GSAPP MS Real Estate Development program.

David Brown, AIA, is a registered architect with over 13 years’ experience in premier architectural practices in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Harvard University-educated, he honed his design skills at other high-profile, international firms before moving to Woods Bagot’s New York studio, where he is the Design Stream Leader for North America.

David’s latest roles include design lead for One Journal Square, a two-million-square-foot mixed use building in Jersey City, N.J., and for OVER/UNDER, twin outdoor concessions at New York’s South Street Seaport in Manhattan.

When Emily saw the need for a Workplace Strategy Team, Corgan immediately backed her idea. The result is a studio dedicated to human behavior, change management, and workplace strategy that provides research and direction across all studios. “We've created a toolkit to gather information, depending on client parameters and challenges,” explains Emily. “Once we identify the problem, we collaborate as a team to determine the best solution.”

During her 15+ years, Emily has designed countless workplaces, a phone app, and several products, and assembled an entire team focused solely on creating a new revenue stream for the firm. “Along the way, I've felt valued for my ideas and supported in making them come true,” she says. “Corgan is a unique place, with the spirit of a start-up and the resources of a big firm.”

Emily continues to elevate our practice with key clients such as Citibank, Interstate Batteries, Oncor, Fossil, and Microsoft. She brings her ability to draw out the vision, create alignment, and apply innovative concepts to elevate the workspace. Her work is recognized by the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and has been featured in numerous publications, including Interior Design and Interiors & Sources.

Peyton Booth

Principal, Senior Designer

Peyton’s pursuit as an architect is to create unique and

unforgettable experiences. She views the process of

achieving this as a conversation and mutual education

between architect and client. Peyton specializes in the

design of hospitality, commercial office and mixed-use

projects in various parts of the world. She is experienced in

a wide range of architectural disciplines, including mas-

ter planning, conceptual design, schematic design and

the interface of design development.
