As President and Chief Executive Officer of Doran Companies, Anne sets the strategic direction for Doran Companies. Together with Founder Kelly Doran and Chief Financial Officer Ryan Johnson, Anne ensures the development-led company is well positioned to maintain its competitive edge and continue its strong growth trajectory. Anne received her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Bill Griffith is a shareholder for Larkin Hoffman in the firm’s real estate and land use practice group. He practices extensively in land use, zoning, real estate, environmental permitting and municipal law. Bill has served as legal counsel to Mall of America for more than 20 years and also serves as city attorney for the city of Columbus. In addition to his practice, he has been an adjunct professor in land use law at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Bill has published articles and guest commentary in Urban Land, Minnesota Business, Minneapolis Star Tribune, St. Paul Pioneer Press and the Minnesota Real Estate Journal, and is a frequent speaker at seminars on land use, zoning, municipal and environmental law.

Brent’s creativity and innovative marketing approach sets him apart

which has led to a successful track record of repositioning buildings,

improving occupancy, and creating value for his owners.

Brent is co-lead broker onthe JLL Agency Leasing team, which is a

team of seven responsible for more than ten million rentable square

feet in the Minneapolis market. On average, Brent and his team

complete over 100 transactions annually. Current leasing projects

include, the iconic IDS Center, Towers of West End, KBS’s stunning 60

South Sixth, the new Gateway development, PwC Plaza, and Hines’

innovative timber project, T3.

Prior to JLL, Brent spent eight years with United Properties/North-

Marq on their brokerage division.

Paul co-founded Hyde Development in 2012 with his father, Mac, to redevelop brownfield sites into new, sustainable, and quality buildings. Prior to launching Hyde Development, Paul co-founded Real Estate Recycling in 1995 to develop contaminated property in MN and WI.

Paul is responsible for leading the company’s current development projects and acquisitions.

Current Responsibilities

Brandon joined Hempel in 2024 as Executive Vice President of Development, where he is responsible for directing new development and investment activities of commercial and multifamily properties.

Previous Experience

Brandon was previously at United Properties from 2004 to 2024. He started as a retail broker and joined United’s development group in 2006. From 2006 to 2013, his notable projects included the historic Minneapolis Ford Center office renovation/conversion, Nicollet Mall Nieman Marcus office conversion, the Penn & American mixed-use redevelopment in Bloomington, MN, Bielenberg Gardens shopping center in Woodbury, MN, and headquarters projects for Be the Match and CH Robinson. He also acquired the Days Hotel in partnership with the University of Minnesota, which led to the formation of a joint venture partnership with the University of Minnesota Foundation to master plan the East Gateway campus into a future healthcare innovation district.

Brandon led United’s industrial development from 2014 to 2020. During this time, he developed approximately 6 million square feet of industrial space, valued at nearly $600 million, including the state’s most environmentally sustainable industrial building—the LEED Silver Midway Stadium Business Center. Beginning in 2016, Brandon led the planning of one of Minneapolis’ largest public-private projects, the 48-acre riverfront redevelopment of Upper Harbor, which will include a 20-acre park, affordable housing, an amphitheater, and advanced manufacturing space.

In 2020 Brandon was promoted to lead all of United’s commercial development and investments in the Twin Cities region.

Prior to United Properties, Brandon worked in the A&R Department for Def Jam Records in Hollywood, CA.

Professional and Community Involvement

Brandon’s industry achievements include Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal 40 Under 40, 2019 NAIOP Minnesota President, 2014‐2017 NAIOP Minnesota Public Policy Chair, past founder/chair of the Commercial Real Estate Diversity Collaborative, and volunteering for ULI’s Urban Plan program—teaching high school kids about the complexities and tradeoffs in real estate redevelopment.

Education

Brandon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in entrepreneurial studies and finance, with a minor in marketing from the University of Minnesota-Carlson School of Management.

Will joined Autodesk with six years of construction and real estate industry experience along with more than 10 years of experience working with Autodesk products. His career started in Mechanical Engineering in electric motor R&D then quickly transitioned to a project manager in a top civil engineering firm, KFW Engineers & Surveying based in San Antonio, TX. Will also has experience working on large commercial developments as the national civil engineering rep for a Hilton and Marriott hotel developer.

When he’s not working, he spends his time at home in Minnesota with his wife, Amelia, their 18-month-old daughter, Olive, and their dog, Phoebe. Will enjoys hiking, road-tripping to national parks, and a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, and football.
