As President and Co-Founder of Terra, David Martin’s

ambition has been to evolve the South Florida

He has spent the past 15+ years recognizing

opportunities to invigorate Miami's spirit by creating

truly original and exceptional spaces in unexpected

places thus redefining the way people live, beyond the

norm. David's vision has led the company operations,

sales, and marketing as well as investment and

development projects.

David leads some of Miami’s most impactful real estate

developments, with an emphasis on neighborhoods like

Coconut Grove, Miami Beach, Doral and Weston. Examples are the Bjarke Ingels-designed

Grove at Grand Bay and the Rem Koolhaas/OMA-designed Park Grove, two new luxury

condos that are helping revitalize Coconut Grove. Glass, a 10-unit condo designed by Rene

Gonzalez, was recently completed in Miami Beach's SoFi district. Eighty Seven Park,

Terra’s newest project just up the coast in North Beach, will be a 70-unit beachfront condo

designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano. Terra is also developing the

Modern and Neovita communities in Doral, as well as Botaniko in Weston, a master-

planned community designed by Chad Oppenheim and Roney Mateu.

With a unique interest in education, the arts and health foundations, David is actively

involved in South Florida’s civic and business communities. He and his wife support several

organizations with philanthropic contributions, including Miami Children's Health

Foundation, Vizcaya Museums and Gardens, and the Wolfsonian FIU. He’s also an

advisory board member for the UM School of Architecture Real Estate Development +

Urbanism program and a member of the Latin Builders Association. David and his family

are also responsible for the donation of the Freedom Tower to Miami Dade College in 2008.

David is a graduate of the University of Florida with a master in business administration.

Jon Paul “JP” Pérez is responsible for overseeing development operations across the company’s various divisions, managing land acquisition efforts and leading the procurement of major construction financing. He also forms a part of Related’s Executive Committee, where he works with the firm’s C-level executives and division presidents to establish corporate priorities, growth strategies and other key company-wide initiatives.

Jon Paul aims to continue supporting the firm’s reputation as a “market maker” and its proven ability to capitalize on opportunities well before competitors. A market maker himself, Jon Paul has personally spearheaded Related’s recent entrance into Miami’s popular Wynwood neighborhood, where he’s working to deliver several major mixed-use projects set to transform the area into a true live-work-play neighborhood. Current projects include Wynwood 25, a 289-unit luxury rental property across from the iconic Wynwood Walls; The Annex, an eight-story, 50,000-square-foot, class A office building; and The Bradley, a 175-unit rental tower with interior design by Kravitz Design.

Since joining Related in 2012, Jon Paul has overseen the development of several thousand market-rate rental, affordable and luxury condominium units—including the 200-unit The Manor, the 365-unit Town City Center and the 690-unit Brickell Heights condo property. He has also played a key role in several marquee sales and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Related, Jon Paul worked for The Related Companies of New York where he oversaw all aspects of the development process for more than 900 units, with direct responsibility for financial modeling, design programming and construction management. He also participated in securing capital for the firm’s $900 million distressed opportunity fund, and in 2009 successfully led efforts to sell 425 unsold condominium units in Fort Myers, Florida over the span of 18 months.

Jon Paul graduated from the University of Miami in 2007 with a B.S in business administration and received his MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2015. Nurturing Miami’s growing arts and culture community, Jon Paul remains closely aligned with the Pérez Art Museum Miami as well as with The National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts), participating in its annual Miami YoungArts Week. He also sits on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami and is an active United Way Young Leader. Every holiday season, Jon Paul also puts together Related’s annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive to coordinate the delivery of over 2,600 turkeys across Miami-Dade, including to the firm’s affordable housing properties.

Francis X. Suarez is the 33rd Mayor of the City of Miami. As the first Miami-born mayor, he is committed to working diligently to serve the residents of the community where he was born and raised. Prior to being elected with 86 percent support from Miami residents, Mayor Suarez served as Miami Commissioner for District 4 during eight years. Mayor Suarez had many legislative accomplishments as Commissioner, including implementing ShotSpotter technology in the City, a state-­‐of-­‐the-­‐art gunshot detection system, setting up a transportation trust fund, which allocates funds for current and future transit projects, and passing the Reverse Redline legislation, authorizing lawsuits against several major banks for discriminatory mortgage lending practices. As a result, the City’s lawsuit reached the U.S. Supreme Court, which ruled that cities have standing to sue banks under the Fair Housing Act for such discriminatory practices. Mayor Suarez also serves as Vice-­‐Chair of the Miami-­‐Dade Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) and is the former President of the Miami-­‐Dade County League of Cities. In his role at the TPO, Mayor Suarez championed the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Plan, which was unanimously approved. The SMART Plan expands mass transit options in Miami-­‐Dade County through six main corridors and new bus routes to ease traffic congestion and support future population growth. Mayor Suarez helped negotiate the Tri-­‐Rail connection to Downtown, offering free ridership to Overtown residents for life. He also ushered in the free trolley system in Miami, which carries an average of 450,000 passengers per month. Mayor Suarez is dedicated to elevating the quality of life of the residents he serves by focusing on transportation and connectivity, resiliency, and job creation by nurturing the growth of technology and innovation. He is also committed to expanding affordable housing, tackling the poverty pandemic and, as a corollary, reducing crime. The oldest of four siblings, Mayor Suarez was born into a family where, as he describes, “being socially conscious was a kind of requirement.” As the son of former City of Miami Mayor, Xavier Suarez, he was also exposed to public service since he was a child, growing up around his father’s office at City Hall, the same one he works out of today. Mayor Suarez earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida International University, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He went on to receive his law degree from the University of Florida Frederic G. Levin College of Law, where he graduated cum laude. He is currently an attorney with the law firm Carlton Fields, specializing in corporate and real-­‐estate transactions. Mayor Suarez is married to Gloria Fonts Suarez. They have a son, Andrew Xavier, and are expecting their first daughter this year. They consider themselves honored and blessed to be raising their family in the City of Miami.

Dave is responsible for all aspects of the passenger rail business, including all operational

functions and the guest experience.

He is a renowned executive with more than 20 years experience in sports and entertainment,

leading the business operations of best-in- class venues and Major League sports organizations.

He has played key leadership roles in the development of new or substantially rebuilt legendary

facilities, with experience spanning MLB, NBA, NHL, WNBA, AHL, NBADL and MiLB operations.

Dave was President of MSG Sports where he ran the business operations of the New York

Knicks, Rangers, Liberty and the Garden’s NCAA Basketball and other world-class sports events.

He was President during the third and final construction phase and the grand reopening of the

Transformed Madison Square Garden. Prior to MSG, Dave ran the business operations of the

New York Mets, where he worked for more than two decades and was the lead business

executive in the design, development, launch and operation of Citi Field.

Prior to joining the Brightline team, Dave was the Co-Founder and Principal in Howard & Sergi,

LLC, where he consulted and advised team owners and senior executives on guest experience-

related strategic planning, design, contracting, organizational structure and operations.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and received his law

degree from Fordham Law School. Dave has a combination of impressive business

accomplishments with a heart for hospitality and care in the guest experience. He lives by the

motto that the right relationship is everything, and he strives to achieve that lofty standard in

all he does.

Dave has been married to his high school sweetheart Nancy for 31 years, and they are enjoying

watching their four children begin their own careers.

Alan Ojeda, owner, founder and CEO, has developed real estate in South Florida since Rilea’s inception in 1981. Mr. Ojeda is committed to the South Florida Community, a former chairman and board member of Carrfour (www.carrfour.org) providing homes to the homeless, a board member of the Miami Children Hospital Foundation (www.mchf.org) the leader in local child healthcare, and to community planning as a board member of the Miami Downtown Development Authority (www.miamidda.com). Mr. Ojeda graduated from the Madrid School of Law and the Madrid School of Economics.

Following an internship with the Chief Judge for the Southern District of Florida, Jerome Hollo obtained a Juris Doctorate in 1993. Jerome practiced for three years with the law firm of Rosenthal, Rosenthal, and Rasco, where he established a leading transactional practice. In 1994, he was recognized by his peers and was elected to the Board of Directors of the Miami-Dade County Bar Association, where he served for three years. In 1995, Jerome joined FECR as Vice President and General Counsel to the company.

Since joining the company, Jerome has become intimately involved in all facets of the business—from the acquisition and development of the Hobe Shops retail center in 1995, to the design and approvals of Bay Parc Plaza, a 471-unit residential apartment building located in Downtown Miami. During this time, he has directed the closely-held company, Quantum Development Group, which has been developing land and building single-family homes in the Orlando area since 1995. Jerome also spearheaded marketing, sales, and construction of the Townhomes of Quayside. Additionally, Jerome has been directing FECR’s projects in the New York area, including the completion of the Element Condominium on Manhattan’s West Side, 20 East End on the Upper East Side, and Brynwood Golf & Country Club in Armonk, New York. Currently, Jerome is directing project development for Panorama Tower (which is under construction) and predevelopment for The Towers by Foster + Partners.

Jerome has been directly involved and routinely liaisons with municipal, community, and civic organizations. In 2002, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Downtown Development Authority (DDA), which oversees the growth and development of Miami’s core district. In addition, he has been inducted as a Founder of Mt. Sinai Hospital, and in May 2011, he was recognized by the business community and Business Leader Magazine as a Business Leader of the Year for Commercial Development. Throughout his time at FECR, Jerome has and will continue to be an integral part of the continuing success of the company and a conscientious supporter of the community of which he is a part.

For nearly three decades, real estate industry veteran Louis Birdman has taken a

leadership role in the development of over 70 residential projects, comprising more

than 18,000 residential units nationwide.

Mr. Birdman has a significant background in property acquisitions, dispositions,

entitlements, financing, planning, design, construction, sales and marketing. Mr.

Birdman has been a principal investor and developer in numerous real estate

developments projects throughout Florida and nationwide, including Las Vegas, Arizona,

Colorado and Texas.

He is also the founder and principal of Louis Birdman Architect, an architectural

consulting practice that provides consulting services to developers of real estate in both

related and unrelated entities. He has been a registered architect licensed in Florida

since 1989 and has held architectural licenses in multiple jurisdictions in the United

States, including Chicago, New York and Nevada.

Mr. Birdman is currently the Co-Developer of One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid

Architects, a 62-story, ultra-luxury high-rise condominium Tower in Miami, FL with 83

half-floor and full-floor residences. One Thousand Museum is currently under

construction and scheduled for completion in mid-2018, slated to be Miami’s most

iconic tower and the centerpiece of Miami’s Museum Park. Mr. Birdman is also the Co-

Developer of The Diplomat Golf & Tennis Club, an iconic 130-acre, 1950’s Golf Resort in

Hallandale Beach, FL that is currently being entitled for redevelopment. The

redevelopment plans will include a redesign of the golf course, the renovation of the

existing 60-room hotel, club, and banquet facilities with the planned construction of

four new towers with a total 1,200 new hotel-condo units and residential condominium

units. Mr. Birdman has most recently launched a unique commercial condominium

concept, AutoHouse, a unique auto-centric development and private members-only

social club that provides luxury storage and display for high-end and collectable

vehicles.

Nitin Motwani has been the managing principal of Miami Worldcenter since 2006. He is responsible for everything from land acquisition, zoning, and entitlements to financing, joint ventures, and development. Mr. Motwani is also a managing director of Encore Capital Management, which currently has over $1 billion of investments across the country, including holdings in Florida, California, Texas, and Arizona. Earlier in his career, Mr. Motwani was the president of Merrimac Ventures.

Mr. Motwani is also actively involved in building the Miami community, through his roles as the chair of the Economic Development and Technology/Marketing and Communications Committees of Miami's Downtown Development Authority. Mr. Motwani is also a member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and the Beacon Council. He is also a co-chair of the nonprofit Operation Hope for Haiti, which has helped Haiti position itself for a sustainable, long-term recovery tied to economic development, education, and health.

Suzanne M. Amaducci-Adams, Real Estate Practice Group Leader, has extensive experience in handling all aspects of commercial real estate and finance transactions, including acquisitions, mixed-use development, leasing, public private partnerships, commercial mortgage backed securities, and loan restructurings. Suzanne is very active in the areas of marina and hotel acquisition, finance and development, and leads the firm's Hospitality Group.

Her resilience and unwavering resolve were particularly evident during the 2008 recession when she successfully sold the remaining standing inventory represented by RCRS.In 2011, Alicia returned full-time as principal to Cervera Real Estate, and she assumed the role of Managing Partner at Cervera Real Estate and orchestrated a monumental expansion that doubled the company's size. The Cervera name has graced over 125+ luxury high-rise condominiums throughout South Florida, facilitating over $20 billion in sales.

Alicia Cervera Lamadrid oversees $4.5 Billion in real estate sales, encompassing pre-construction and general real estate. Reinaldo Borges has a Masters Degree in Architecture with a focus on Mixed-Use and Hybrid urban projects and urban design. With over 25 years of Professional experience, he has won numerous international design competitions awards. His work has been published in national and international architectural publications and ranges from design collaboration of the New American Airlines Arena in Miami, to the Royal Palm Crowne Plaza Resort Hotel in South Miami Beach, to a New Carillon Canyon Ranch Resort in Miami Beach, to Community Centers and Fire Stations in Sunrise Florida. He is a Florida and Maryland registered architect, a certified member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and an active member of the American Institute of Architects and the US Green Building Council.

Reinaldo has developed a well-rounded background in the field of architecture, in projects ranging from luxury high-rise multi-family residences to resort/urban hotels and complex mixed-use facilities to Fire Stations and Building renovations. Moderate to Luxury condominium high-rise design and hospitality projects are his strongest design specialties. Reinaldo uses responsive creative problem solving from concept to final detailed execution of the work, with an enthusiastic team oriented approach. He has successfully collaborated with national design teams in design collaborations numerous times. During the design of the new American Airlines Arena where Mr. Borges as the design leader, directed a team of over 20 design professional ranging from Sports Architects to Structural and Mechanical Engineers. Rigorous design oriented and balanced with a strong technical background is the Borges leadership approach to the profession of architecture and engineering systems.

Jon was a founding principal of ADD Inc Miami, an architecture and interior design practice which grew from two employees to over 100 before they joined Stantec in 2015. With the addition of a structural and civil engineering team, Jon now oversees 130 employees. He also co-develops the overall strategy, business development, and marketing of our growing Commercial Sector practice nationwide.

Our Miami office has realized exponential growth under Jon’s client-focused leadership, designing hundreds of high-profile development projects and towers from the city’s urban core to the shoreline, helping to reshape the South Florida skyline. Recently, Jon has also proudly spearheaded the restoration of seven historic Art Deco hotels along the iconic Collins Avenue, merging each hotel’s timeless qualities with new, modern aesthetics.

As a senior principal and seasoned architect, Jon specializes in commercial building design and project economics, analyzing the overall objectives which developers, public agencies, and neighborhoods envision. He uses that information to uncover additional development cost savings, ongoing operational efficiencies, and marketing benefits for high-profile, large-scale projects.
