Jackie Soffer is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chairman of Turnberry, a privately held real estate development group based in South Florida. Founded more than 50 years ago, the company specializes in large-scale lifestyle developments within the hospitality, retail, residential, and office sectors.

Jackie has evolved Turnberry from the regional leader into one of the most creative and dynamic organizations in real estate today. She leads through innovation, combining her passion for retail and hospitality with creative design-led thinking. She first applied this approach at Aventura Mall, which she transformed from a classic shopping mall into one of the country’s premier lifestyle destinations by attracting luxury retailers such as Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Cartier, Gucci, Burberry, Fendi, Tiffany & Co., and Bally and integrating them with museum quality contemporary art by Ugo Rondinone, Jorge Pardo, Julian Opie, Donald Baechler, Louise Bourgeois, Friends with You, Daniel Arsham, Jen Stark, and many more.

Soffer continues to magnify this vision with a new tri-level, 315,000 square-foot expansion of Aventura Mall that showcases the next evolution of experiential retail. Designed by world-renowned architect Carlos Zapata, the expansion features substantial site-specific installations from some of the biggest names in contemporary art including Carsten Höller & the Haas Brothers; Treats Food Hall featuring Zuuk Mediterranean, My Ceviche, Luke’s Lobster, Shake Shack, Figs + Mozzarella by Todd English; multiple full service restaurant destinations such as Genuine Pizza, CVI.CHE 105, Pubbelly Sushi, Serafina, Le Pain Quotidien, Tap 42, and Blue Bottle; the Level Three VIP lounge; flagship retail stores from Topshop Topman, Zara, and Adidas; and a beautifully landscaped rooftop terrace and plaza. In addition to Aventura Mall, Soffer oversaw a 100,000 square-foot expansion of Destin Commons, an open-air lifestyle center in Northwest Florida, and the ground up development of Town Square Las Vegas, a 1.5 million-square-foot super regional lifestyle center located on the Las Vegas Strip.

Soffer recently formed a partnership with LeFrak to develop a 184-acre site along Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami aptly named SoLē Mia. The largest development in North Miami’s history, when complete SoLē Mia will include 1.4 million square feet of retail, 37 acres of parks, 4,390 residences, crystal lagoons, a hotel, gourmet groceries, dining outlets, and market-leading entertainment and amenities.

Soffer is actively involved in management and development of all Turnberry’s hospitality and residential assets including Fontainebleau Miami Beach, one of the world’s top destination resorts, as well as Turnberry Isle Miami, a 300-acre resort and country club in South Florida, Turnberry Ocean Club Residences, a 154-unit ultra-luxury condominium and JW Marriott Nashville, a 533-room hotel located in downtown Nashville.

In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities for Turnberry, Soffer serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Washington Prime Group, a retail real estate investment trust with a portfolio of 120 enclosed regional malls and open-air lifestyle community centers. She is a member of the University of Miami Board of Trustees, and the Board of Trustees for the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami.

Ilene K. Kobert is a shareholder in the Real Estate Department of the firm's Miami office. Ilene concentrates her practice in various areas of commercial real estate law, representing both landlords and tenants, buyers and sellers, borrowers and lenders in connection with the acquisition, disposition, and development of numerous types of real property in Florida and nationwide. She advises borrowers in connection with secured financings, including acquisition loans, construction loans, and refinances. Ilene has wide-ranging experience counseling national retailers on the acquisition and development of shopping center pads, including the negotiation of ground leases, REAs and other matters affecting title.

Ilene’s wide-ranging experience includes counseling clients on retail and restaurant deals, including international QSR companies, fine dining establishments and national retailers. Before joining Greenberg Traurig, Kobert was in-house counsel at Burger King Corporation.

Steven Gretenstein is the Chief Operating Officer of Dacra a prominent real estate development company with a number of creative affiliated brands based in Miami. Along with CEO Craig Robins, Mr. Gretenstein manages the overall direction of the various entities in the Dacra family of companies including overseeing corporate management, brand development, operations, financing and the roll-out of individual initiatives.

Dacra, an early promoter and participant in the development of South Beach and Lincoln Road, has developed, managed and sold several million square feet of residential and commercial properties. Currently it has over one million square feet under development in the Miami Design District.

Mr. Gretenstein joined Dacra as Chief Financial Officer in 1994 and assumed the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer in 1997. Mr. Gretenstein has a Bachelor's degree in Urban Affairs from George Washington University and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a Florida licensed real estate broker and President of Dacra Realty.

Mr. Gretenstein is a past Chair of the Board of Directors of Jewish Community Services of South Florida, a major non-profit social service agency. He is currently a Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors ofthe Greater Miami Jewish Federation.

STEPHEN H. BITTEL is the Chairman and founder (1980) of Terranova Corporation, leading a team of professionals in the ownership and operation of a commercial real estate portfolio valued at nearly $1.0 billion; graduated magna cum laude from Bowdoin College, 1978; law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, 1982; founded Petroleum Realty Investment Partners in 1999; has chaired and/or served on the ICSC Open Air Centers Conference, ICSC Capital Marketplace Program and the ICSC Florida Conference. A Miami native, Bittel has been a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Young Presidents Organization (past Chair of the Miami Chapter and the YPO Real Estate Round Table, and past Co-Chair of the Miami Chapter of WPO); served as Director on the Boards of the Community Partnership for the Homeless, the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, the Jackson Memorial Hospital Foundation, and the Boards or four public companies; served as Trustee member for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Miami-Dade and Temple Beth Am; has written numerous articles on real estate matters and spoken at professional conferences throughout the United States and Europe; in 2005 was awarded the South Florida Business Journal “Ultimate CEO” award. Bittel is a Board member and a Vice Chairman of Development of the National Jewish Democratic Council; has led the Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s Washington Mission in 2009 and 2010; and is the National Finance Co-Chair of the Democratic National Committee and an At-Large member, serving on the Rules and Bylaws Committee. Bittel currently serves on the Board of Teach for America Miami (TFA).

Jessica Goldman Srebnick, Co-Chair of Goldman Properties, is a second generation leader of the company

founded by her late father, visionary real estate developer, Tony Goldman. Founded in 1968, the award-

winning company is a creative real estate firm with a storied history in developing thriving global

destinations across the United States. Marrying real estate and public art to build community, Goldman

Properties is known for recognizing the value in depressed urban areas and transforming them into iconic

neighborhoods such as SoHo in New York City, Center City Philadelphia, Miami Beach, and Wynwood,

site of the acclaimed Wynwood Walls, winner of the 2016 “Global Award of Excellence”- Urban Land

Institute. In August 2018, Goldman Srebnick was recognized as one of Forbes Icons of Impact for her

continued work and leadership. She oversees a diverse portfolio of restaurants, office buildings, galleries,

commercial and retail properties and large-scale public art projects including the iconic Houston Bowery

wall.

In July 2015, Goldman Srebnick founded Goldman Global Arts (GGA), a Miami based creative collective

with co-founder, artist Peter Tunney. For its inaugural project, in 2015, the Miami Dolphins NFL franchise

commissioned GGA to infuse a global art aesthetic into the newly renovated Hard Rock Stadium. In 2019,

Goldman Srebnick authored Walls of Change: The Story of The Wynwood Walls. The book is a retrospective

published by Assouline, showcasing Wynwood’s most celebrated murals, by street art’s most iconic figures.

GGA continues to produce thought provoking large scale, creative projects for a variety of organizations,

including the Miami Heat, Citibank, When We All Vote, and Wynn Hotels. In 2020, GGA was hired by

the NFL to infuse street art into Super Bowl LIV in Miami. As a result, and in partnership with the NFL,

GGA curated several works by five world-renowned artists including the face of the game day ticket and

commemorative program. She also most recently curated a national art campaign for Michelle Obama’s

organization When We All Vote to amplify the importance of voting.

Goldman Srebnick is an active member of the prestigious Young Presidents Organization (YPO). She

graduated from the YPO/Harvard Business School Presidents Leadership Program. She was the Miami-

Dade County Co-Chair for the Miami 2020 Super Bowl Host Committee and currently serves as Chair of

the Town Square Neighborhood Development Corporation (TSNDC) Board. In 2019, she was awarded the

Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Alvah H. Chapman, Jr. Young Leader Award of Excellence. In 2021,

she was selected as one of the Knight’s Foundation Arts Champions, for her community leadership

in helping to enrich arts and culture in South Florida. She is a passionate supporter of the Memorial

Sloan Kettering's Cycle for Survival charity. Goldman Srebnick currently resides in Miami with her

husband Scott Srebnick, CEO of Goldman Properties and are the proud parents of their 3 sons.

Seth Gadinsky entered the real estate business upon graduation with a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from M.I.T. in 1983. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Tufts University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Over the past 32 years he has developed, leased and operated shopping centers, large and small, and many single tenant projects for clients such as Walgreens, Starbuck’s and Blockbuster Video. He has also represented tenants in their expansion and consulted with owners to help bring retail projects to life on their property. He has also served as the Florida Board Chair for the Anti-Defamation League and currently chairs the Office for Engaged Creativity at Florida International University’s School of Architecture and the Arts.

Jason Shapiro, a Managing Director of Aztec Group, Inc. and principal of Mayan Capital LLC and Mayan Properties LLC (both affiliates of Aztec), brings over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate investment banking, and leads all capital markets activities for the firm. Shapiro’s primary focus is arranging all forms of debt including permanent, bridge, construction, mezzanine and participating loans, as well as equity and joint venture placements for the firm’s own account and on behalf of the firm’s extensive client base. Shapiro has been involved in and closed transactions spanning all commercial and residential real estate asset types totaling over $2 billion, and encompassing in excess of 50 million square feet.

Prior to joining Aztec, Shapiro spent seven years as Vice President of Thomas D. Wood & Company’s Coral Gables, Florida office. Shapiro was responsible for the origination and placement of long-term, income property loans on behalf of domestic life insurance companies. During his tenure at Thomas D. Wood & Company, Shapiro closed over 100 commercial real estate financing transactions.

Shapiro graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami in 1992 and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami in 1994. Both degrees were earned with a specialty in Finance.

Mr. Graziano has been involved in the real estate field in New Jersey in since 1992. Mr. Graziano has actively counseled and advised clients on the sale, leasing, valuation, management, and development of commercial real estate assets throughout New Jersey and the northeast U.S. Mr. Graziano has provided market study and consulting services to the Port Authority NY/NJ, NJ Highlands Council, City of Atlantic City, City of Jersey City, and other municipalities throughout New Jersey.

Mr. Graziano continues to serve on the Board of Directors for Integra Realty Resources. He formerly served in leadership positions with the Appraisal Institute (Metro NJ Chapter), Counselors of Real Estate (NJ Chapter and National), NJ Smart Growth Coalition, and as a subject matter expert (SME) to the Appraisal Foundation.

After 20 years of practice in New Jersey, Mr. Graziano was retained to serve as Senior Managing Director of IRR Miami/Palm Beach in mid-2012.

As a principal in Integra Realty Resources - Coastal NJ, Mr. Graziano continues to provide support and counsel to our senior staff, and litigation and expert witness services to select clients as needed.

Adam D. Lustig is a Partner in the Real Estate Group at Bilzin Sumberg. Adam focuses his practice in complex commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, workouts, development and joint ventures involving shopping centers, office buildings, raw land, condominiums and hotels.

Adam is the immediate past chair of the Network of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Following the success of the Bilzin Sumberg six-week mock real estate transactions program for summer associates, which Adam was instrumental in creating, he was selected to design a real estate transactions seminar for Harvard Law School, conducted in March 2008.

Adam has been recognized by legal publications including Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America and Florida Super Lawyers. In 2014, he was recognized as a "Top Lawyer" by the South Florida Legal Guide.
