Chris Tourtellotte

Chris Tourtellotte serves as a Managing Director of LaTerra. Chris is responsible for overseeing the Development group, sourcing and closing new acquisitions, sourcing debt and equity for LaTerra’s projects, and growing LaTerra’s apartment and mixed use development platform, which currently includes over 3,000 apartment units either under construction or in the pipeline. Prior to joining LaTerra, Mr. Tourtellotte spent 7 years at Prudential Global Investment Management (PGIM), a global real estate private equity investment fund manager with over $50 billion of gross assets under management. Most recently at PGIM, Mr. Tourtellotte held the position of Director, overseeing all development activity west of the Mississippi River with over 20 development deals at a total cost basis greater than $1 billion. Prior to Mr. Tourtellotte’s role overseeing West Coast development, he spent 5 years on the West Coast acquisitions team where he worked on closing over $1 billion in acquisitions across all property types (multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and hotels) and all layers of the capital stack (senior debt, subordinate debt, preferred equity and equity). Chris co-founded SnowGlobe Music Festival, which was ultimately acquired by MTV. SnowGlobe is a world-renowned annual music festival (featuring the largest musical acts in the world) drawing over 50,000 attendees over the three day event. Mr. Tourtellotte was responsible for raising the capital, and structuring and negotiating the investment documents prior to the inaugural 2011 festival. Mr. Tourtellotte was selected for Real Estate forum’s 50 under 40 list. Mr. Tourtellotte holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (Cum Laude) with a double concentration (Finance & Accounting) and a minor in Real Property Development from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA.

Mr. Paul Daneshrad is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of StarPoint Properties, a private real estate investment firm, specializing in both commercial and multi-family properties. The firm’s expertise and niche is acquiring under-valued and mismanaged assets and dramatically increasing the value of these properties through repositioning, strategic leasing, rehabilitation and professional management. Mr. Daneshrad’s experience in the real estate field has been broad and deep, having been involved in the development, management and ownership of real estate since 1990. After graduating from California State University Northridge, Mr. Daneshrad founded StarPoint Properties, growing the company steadily over the years to include large apartment complexes, retail centers and office buildings as well as establishing a fully integrated property management division. Since its inception, StarPoint has acquired over 8,000 apartment units and 2.5 million square feet of commercial properties, totaling in excess of $1 billion worth of real estate. The company currently has a portfolio of approximately 2,800 apartment units and 2 million square feet of commercial properties. StarPoint was built on the foundation that property operations, management and a proprietary, disciplined acquisition strategy are the core competency of the business and Mr. Daneshrad has built a vertical firm whose management and departments excel at real estate execution. This is best exemplified by the firm’s track record and historical performance, which is 3rd party reviewed and published, delivering investors returns that far exceed most industry averages and alternate investment strategies. Mr. Daneshrad is considered an expert in the real estate investment community. Scope of Experience As the CEO of NAI Capital Commercial, Chris Jackson brings a broker’s passion to commercial real estate deal making. Responsible for overseeing all facets of NAI Capital Commercial, Chris drives the company’s mission, business development, operations, engagement with the board of directors, its agents and ownership stakeholders. He has worked tirelessly to align the company’s day-to-day philosophy around working together and putting clients first. Background & Experience Exuding a dynamic, effective, and influential leadership style that motivates, Chris began his career in commercial real estate in 1997 when he joined CB Richard Ellis. In 1998, he joined Grubb & Ellis where he was awarded Rookie of the Year in 2001. Over the course of his career, he has received numerous awards and promotions highlighting his rise within the company. In 2006 he joined NAI Capital Commercial, and the following year Chris was ranked fifth out of 230 agents in the company by total sales volume. Since joining NAI Capital Commercial, Chris has been a Capital Club Top Producer every year. In 2014 Chris was promoted to Executive Managing Director of NAI Capital Commercial’s corporate Encino office. Since Chris took over as Executive Managing Director, the Encino office has remained the top producing office for the whole company. Chris led the successful purchase of NAI Capital Commercial by its agents and employees in 2020 when he was named CO-CEO. After a couple very profitable years as the new company, in 2022 Chris was named Chief Executive Officer of NAI Capital Commercial. Chris is also the head of the Investment Services Group (ISG) which he co-founded in 2015. Chris is a strong leader within the organization and throughout the commercial real estate industry, making him a dynamic advocate for the company’s clients, agents, and employees. He has extensive experience as a dealmaker focused on industrial investments, which served as a catalyst for him to start the Investment Services Group during his tenure as Executive Managing Director of the Encino office. He is happily married to his wife Denise who he met in college and has two daughters. He enjoys working industrial investment deals for his clients and for his personal real estate portfolio. Education Chris is a native of Los Angeles, California. He graduated and received his bachelor’s degree from Woodbury University, Burbank, CA with a minor in International Business.
