An experienced real estate executive with an 18-year track record of delivering superior project investment returns, Tyson Sayles oversees Ensemble’s multifamily group and its commitment in developing inspiring, transformative places that people call home. Previously, Tyson was the Fund Manager for CityView Southwest Multifamily Partners, a fund that purchased and renovated apartments in the Southwestern U.S. Earlier, he worked with the residential division of The KOR Group, overseeing the acquisition, renovation, recapitalization, construction and/or disposition of over 4,000 multifamily units valued at approximately $1 billion.

Tyson’s role at Ensemble is focused on urban multifamily and mixed-use opportunities, including re-use acquisitions and new developments. He researches, evaluates and analyzes options and information that will lead to optimal decision-making for real estate acquisitions and development.

Rick Price oversees all phases of Raintree’s development projects, including acquisition, due diligence, entitlement, project design, permitting, construction and lease-up. He also supports Raintree’s financing and refinancing efforts for both construction and permanent loans on stabilized development projects. To date, Mr. Price has been involved in more than $400 million in development activity.

Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Price underwrote institutional-size multifamily value-add acquisitions totaling $1.2 million for Bascom Group and brokered multifamily transactions for ACI Apartments in San Diego, California. Earlier in his career, Mr. Price worked as a CPA for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. Price holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Brigham Young University and a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a California-licensed real estate broker, a member of Urban Land Institute, and a member of the ULI NEXT Initiative Council.

Ryan Altoon is Executive Vice President with AndersonPacific, LLC, a Los Angeles-based

development company focusing on investment, entitlement and development of

mixed-use infill projects that are transit-oriented and sustainable, creating

livable and walkable communities. Anderson Pacific currently manages/owns over

$1 Billion in projects in key Downtown areas throughout California. Mr. Altoon

has over 16 years experience in real estate, strategic planning, management and

finance. He is responsible for overseeing entitlement and development projects

for the firm. Prior to joining AP he worked at George Smith Partners, Inc., a

real estate investment bank and financing company, where he was responsible for

underwriting debt and equity packages for acquisitions, development and

refinancing myriad product types. Prior to GSP he was Managing Director of GFX

Center, a design and reprographics firm he founded, serving the international

real estate clientele of a professional services firm. Mr. Altoon also served

as a Business Manager for Altoon + Porter Architects, LP. Mr. Altoon received

an MBA from the University of Southern California, a Certificate of

Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and BA in

Business/Economics and Art History from the University of California, Santa

Barbara. He is a LEED AP, ULI-LA Advisory Board member, Chair of the Downtown

Long Beach Alliance, and President of the Greater Toluca Lake Neighborhood

Council.

As senior principal and design director for Studio One Eleven, Michael Bohn, AIA, is responsible for architectural, landscape and urban design within the Studio. Maintaining the Studio’s dedication to creating more vibrant, healthy and equitable places, he is a licensed architect with over 25 years’ experience.

His firm’s experience includes co-developing the re-use of an existing series of warehouse buildings into a creative office complex in downtown Long Beach, three ground up creative office buildings at the LOT in West Hollywood where Oprah Winfrey and Will Farrell have located their headquarters and the completion of his own office which relocated to an abandoned Nordstrom Rack. He is currently working on a 100,000 SF ground up creative office for Laserfiche, a software development company.

He is a Council Member with the Urban Land Institute, past President of the Long Beach/South Bay chapter of the American Institute of Architects and an active member of the Southern California Association of Non-Profit Housing.

Peter M. Rooney is responsible for the acquisition and development of SARES•REGIS Group’s commercial and industrial real estate portfolio. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Rooney has overseen the acquisition of approximately 75 commercial/industrial properties totaling 33 million square feet with a value of approximately $2.3 billion. Prior to joining the Sares Company, Mr. Rooney worked for a major East Coast institutional investor where he was involved in the purchase of residential, retail and commercial properties with an approximate value of $600 million. Mr. Rooney graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. Mr. Rooney is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association.

developing properties that will have a positive impact on the surrounding community.

Prior to launching Urban Commons, Taylor founded the nation’s leading provider of end-to- end

outsourced mortgage services, which he later successfully sold. This company offered a secondary

marketing solution and comprehensive mortgage origination to over 50 U.S. banks, and resulted in the

origination and sale of billions of dollars of real estate assets.

Taylor earned his bachelor’s degree in English and Business from Brigham Young University.

Prior to becoming a key member of Rising Senior Leadership and culture, Marc spent the past 18 years working with multiple start-ups. He worked closely with Nelson and Christopher Rising over the past decade on real estate projects, including Nelson and Christopher's tenure at Maguire.

A noted expert in real estate innovation, Marc's creative leadership in implementing advanced technologies has garnered national attention and drives value for Rising and many of the nation's largest real estate investors. Prior to Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers, he was an Assistant Vice President with Nomura Securities where he was responsible for originating and underwriting new commercial real estate loans. He helped to originate over $5 billion of loans and also opened up the company’s office in San Francisco.

Specializing in Tenant Representation, Jason brings 19 years of experience to the commercial real estate market. His diverse client base includes advertising, banking, biotechnology, defense, education, and technology companies ranging from Fortune 50 to early stage start-ups. His transactional expertise involves Multi-Market Account Management, Complex Disposition and Relocation transactions, creative warehouse to office conversions, and Corporate HQ assignments. Jason has completed over 6,000,000 square feet with a total transaction value over $800,000,000.

Before joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Jason was Director of Portfolio Services for the Property and Construction Management Division of Colliers International. He was responsible for all business development activities, client services, and marketing for Southern California. In addition, he managed an office and industrial portfolio totaling 700,000 square feet.

Dale Bonner is Executive Chairman of Plenary Concessions, which holds Plenary’s North

American portfolio of infrastructure project companies.

From 2007 to 2011, he served as California's Secretary of Business, Transportation and Housing.

As secretary, he managed California’s transportation infrastructure, business regulation, trade

and foreign investment programs. He also chaired the California Infrastructure and Economic

Development Bank and the Public Infrastructure Advisory Commission, and served on numerous

other infrastructure boards and commissions. He is credited with championing California’s

design-build and public-private partnership programs.

Prior to serving as secretary, Bonner had a national law practice and regulated the managed

healthcare and financial services industries as California's Commissioner of Corporations.

He currently serves as a senior advisor to the Milken Institute and chairs the Los Angeles

Economic Development Corporation’s Infrastructure Committee.

Bonner is a 1990 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and a 1987 graduate of the

University of Southern California, where he majored in political science.

John Keisler is the Economic & Property Development Director for the City of Long Beach. The mission of department is to increase economic opportunities for entrepreneurs, workers, and investors in the City of Long Beach through workforce, business, and property development programs.

After completing bachelor degrees in Philosophy and Religion at St. Olaf College,he joined Teach For America, teaching middle school literacy and civicsin Newark, NJ. To address the chronic community challenges facing his students, he turned to a career in city management, working with the League of California Cities and completing his MPA at the USC Price School of Public Policy.

In 2005, John was hired as a Management Assistant by the City of Long Beach, and rotated through four departments. Over the next decade, he led multiple change-management projects throughout the City, serving as the Animal Care Services Bureau Manager, Business Operations Manager for the Parks, Recreation & Marine Department, CFO for the Police Department, and the City’s first Innovation Team Director.

John lives in Long Beach with his beautiful wife Laura and his two sons Christopher (7) and Benjamin (9), where he serves on a number of civic boards and coaches youth sports.
