Habitat

Habitat

Located at LA’s geographic center, Habitat is an interconnected, transit-oriented and mixed-use campus designed by SHoP Architects. Habitat brings 256,000 square feet of creative office with best-in-class amenities to Culver City. A 1-acre park connects the six-story next-generation office, which also features 2,900 square feet of retail space, to the 260-unit boutique multifamily building, Habitat Residences. This destination-worthy address offers easy multimodal access to Downtown LA, Santa Monica, Hollywood and LAX via the adjacent La Cienega/Jefferson LA Metro E line station and Expo Bike Path. The Net Zero construction and operations of the all-electric buildings contribute to Lendlease’s LEED Platinum and LEED Gold certifications for the office and residential components, respectively.

Jefferson boulevards where Culver City meets the heart of Los Angeles. Designed by SHoP Architects, the all-electric development features 260,000 square feet of creative office space as well as 2,900 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 260 rental units and an acre of open space for office tenants, residents and visitors. Donaldson + Partners: Designs commercial environments where organizational identity becomes architecture. Through our Commercial principles of Elemental California Design,  biophilic integration, material rigor, environmental storytelling, and a process built on genuine discovery, we create workspaces that communicate what a company stands for, support the people doing the work, and endure as long-term organizational assets. This is California design applied to how businesses operate, present themselves, and grow deliberate, distinctive, and built to last.

IA: A global firm of architects, designers, strategists, and specialists. We focus on environments through the lens of interior architecture—a radical idea in 1984, when IA was founded in LA. As IA’s first established studio, Los Angeles laid the foundation for the firm’s growth and evolution over the past 40+ years. Today, our LA studio is home to a team of more than 40 designers and technical professionals, bringing deep expertise across workplace, hospitality, retail, multi-family, advanced manufacturing and aviation market sectors. We’re inspired working alongside our clients to simplify complex challenges and design human-centric environments where people thrive. ///// ANDURIL / Headquarters / Campus / Multiple Projects: Spanning over 729,000 SF across the country, IA’s work for Anduril Industries reflects a singular mission: to celebrate innovation, empower talent, and design environments as bold as their technology. Each location highlights the company’s industrial roots and forward-facing culture through raw materiality, expansive volumes, and immersive design features. Located in Southern California, Costa Mesa’s adaptive reuse of a historic printing press was transformed into a multi-building headquarters for 1,500 employees, and Irvine’s maker-inspired campus was built with SCIF spaces and R&D labs. Each space fosters transparency, security, and ingenuity. Across locations, diverse environments support product development, testing, and immersive client experiences ///// ZWIFT / Headquarters: Zwift, developer of a multiplayer cycling and running training app that blends the rigor of fitness with the fun of video gaming, expanded its Southern California Headquarters by 60,000 SF to bring all Long Beach employees into one connected, cohesive space. The space, awarded Interior Design’s Best of Year Award for Design on a Budget, connects three floors to encourage cross-collaboration between departments, ultimately creating a warm and welcoming space where employees can thrive. The energetic and budget-conscious new scheme aligns with the Zwift motto, “Fun Powers Performance,” inspiring activity and playfulness. Each floor is themed according to a different color and location, and each branded moment celebrates Zwift’s product and their mission. There are also two fitness facilities, one for employee recreation and another for testing and product quality-control processes. A variety of work environments offers teams abundant choice and strikes the right balance between a highly collaborative atmosphere and a high level of focus: collaboration spaces, private offices, and neighborhoods with workstations that can rotate for different configurations
