Sally Jones is head of Strategy, Digital & Technology at British Land, playing a fundamental role in shaping British Land’s strategic direction and leading the company’s technology effort. She is the executive committee’s sponsor for diversity and inclusion.

Over the past year, Jones has overseen the implementation of real estate technologies across British Land’s portfolio, including at 100 Liverpool Street, and partnering with Equiem to deliver a new digital tenant engagement app at Broadgate. As part of the latter effort, Jones joined Equiem’s board as a nonexecutive director. She is also on the advisory board of WiredScore.

With more than 25 years of experience in a broad range of industries and roles, Jones joined British Land in 2010 as head of investor relations. She previously worked as a strategic communications adviser to Lloyds Banking Group, and in investor relations, corporate communications and finance roles at Cadbury.

Outside of her day-to-day role, Jones’s free time is almost entirely sucked up by four energetic daughters and a lively labrador. She would like to have more time to play the piano and swim.

Tom is Property Director at AshbyCapital, overseeing all aspects of the company’s real estate portfolio, from development and leasing to asset management, sustainability and technology. He takes a hands-on approach to ensure each asset delivers long-term value, exceptional performance and an outstanding occupier experience.

Tom plays a leading role in driving AshbyCapital’s focus on innovation and sustainability, embedding smart technology, AI-driven analytics and digital twin systems across its landmark office buildings including The Kensington Building, The JJ Mack Building, One Bartholomew and Two Fitzroy Place.

Oliver is the Real Estate Commercial Director at Carbon Intelligence, part of Accensure, with over eight years of experience delivering ESG services to real estate investors and large corporate occupiers.

Oliver is responsible for developing and delivering net-zero strategies for Commercial Real Estate investors and fund managers. He also leads Ci’s real assets data analytics service that tracks energy performance across 45,000 assets in 60 countries. Oliver also recently joined the BBP REEB Benchmark and AREF ESG Committee and will participate in several collaborations this year with IPSX, the UK-GBC, and GRESB. Oliver has several ESG qualifications, including the RESET air quality certification. Oliver holds an MBA in Business Management.

Jade is Co-Founder and CPO at Qualis Flow, leading product strategy and development, delivering value to projects, and laying the foundations of the roadmap for the next 5-10 years. Her background in construction environmental management and ecosystem service valuation, which has led her to investigate new ways to automate data collection and analysis in one of the most under-digitalised sectors worldwide.

A software development entrepreneur who first entered the market in 2004. He is a founding partner, owner and Managing Director at D2 Interactive, and its subsidiary Smart Spaces. A London based PropTech, Software Development Consultancy ‘where design meets technology’ set up in 2010 and now employing 35+ .Net, C# web developers and UX/UI designers working across the office, retail, residential and industrial markets. D2 Provide specialist consulting services in IoT, API Development & Integration, eKYC, CRM, CMS, E-Commerce and Transactional Platforms.

Mandisa joined Greystar in 2015 and is part of the Capital Projects Team. Over the years she has led projects ranging from renovation of student rooms and amenity spaces to managing large deferred maintenance projects. Mandisa also had the opportunity to Project Manage the construction of modular buildings from inception right through to completion.

Previously, she worked for Quintain Estates within their Student Accommodation fund division, which led to her choice of career path within the construction industry.

In 2004 Mandisa studied Housing Professional studies in Sheffield and had worked within social housing in Yorkshire before eventually moving to London. This experience has enabled her to recognise the importance of affordable housing and the opportunities it gives to those who may have ordinarily struggled to find a place to live and work. As Mandisa progresses into the emerging Build to Rent sector with Greystar she is excited about the opportunities ahead of her to make a difference.

Miloš Halečka is Innovation Director at MiddleCap, an investment and real estate company with a focus on innovative and cutting-edge office schemes. Miloš has been instrumental in developing smart technologies for MiddleCap’s BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ flagship building Southworks, which was named ‘the world’s smartest office’ in 2021. He believes that the real estate sector is on the brink of a new era where data and technologies start to play a role as important as bricks and mortar have for centuries. Miloš’ responsibilities include finding technological solutions to current challenges in the real estate sector such as user comfort, hybrid working or climate change – from finding the right technologies for smart buildings to establishing ESG policies for MiddleCap’s operations and product creation.

Charlie Wade is the EMEA Managing Director for VTS, the modern platform for commercial

real estate. The fastest growing technology company in commercial real estate history, it has

over 12 billion sq ft of office, retail and industrial assets combined managed on its platform

globally. Prior to VTS, Charlie spent 10 years at JLL, working in London, New York and Silicon Valley,

leading business development for the West Coast hub of JLL’s International Desk.

Jon has been Managing Director of technologywithin from its launch at the beginning of 2019, his

ambition steering the company’s emergence as the UK market leading provider of connectivity

services to flexible workspace. He is now focusing on broadening its commercial horizons in new

sectors and markets and is passionate that the company delivers against its mission statement from

a commercial perspective, offering simple, attractive pricing and terms to our clients.

He has long been driven by an interest in technology and developing commercial models around

services that work for both customer and supplier, starting in home automation and moving into the

hotel technology sector, designing and implementing WiFi, networks & TV solutions for the leading

brands and hotels of the world, including Starwood, Marriott, Gleneagles and Accor.

Luke joined Pi Labs from the University of Oxford’s Future of Real Estate Initiative. He has conducted research on disruptive PropTech innovations, property investment, data issues, environmental sustainability, as well as social issues impacting the asset class. His background also includes entrepreneurship and start-up advisory in Europe, Africa, and Australia.

Luke’s interdisciplinary studies include a Bachelor of Commerce (Property) from Western Sydney University and an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford. He has also studied postgraduate economics, change management and psychology at the University of New South Wales and Monash University.

Ruman joined Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) as PropTech Analyst in January 2020.

The role of PropTech Analyst is responsible for driving LGIM’s ability to capitalise on new technologies offered by early-stage companies and implement them successfully to enhance the value of its assets. In his role, Ruman analyses new business models and delivers technology solutions and investment opportunities to respond to rapidly-evolving occupier and investor demands.

Before joining LGIM, Ruman held the position of Senior Investment Analyst at Concrete VC, a venture capital firm which focuses primarily on real estate technology. During his time at Concrete, Ruman advised the business on its various investments, and he advised several multinational real estate partners including JLL, SEGRO and Clifford Chance.

Earlier in his career, Ruman was one of the first employees recruited at a high-growth PropTech start-up. His role spanned acquisition, business development and operations. Over a course of three years, Ruman’s work played its part in the business’ success in acquiring over 900 properties worth more than £115 million and accruing a customer base of more than 10,000 property investors.

Ruman is an alumnus of Cass Business School where he studied Investment and Financial Risk Management at degree level. He also holds a Masters degree in Real Estate Finance and Investment.

Kia focuses on origination, due diligence, thesis building and portfolio management.

Before joining A/O, Kia worked at Pi Labs, one of Europe’s first early stage proptech early-stage VC and incubator.

Kia focuses on digital brokerage, construction software and marketplaces. Kia holds an MSc in Economics & Strategy from Imperial College Business School and a BSc in Management from the London School of Economics. Kia is a board observer with Conxai.

Teresa is the VP of Strategic Engagement and focuses on driving innovation in LPs and connecting them with portfolio companies. She is particularly passionate about hospitality and sustainability start-ups. Prior to joining RHV, Teresa led London operations at an unicorn hospitality proptech, Sonder. She also has prior experience as a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group as well as a real estate advisory firm. Teresa has an MBA from Columbia Business School, with specialisations in strategy and real estate, and a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, with a minor in real estate.

Rob has responsibility for the company’s revenue growth and drives the development and execution of the commercial strategy. He is overseeing the sales function and defining the company’s route to long term income growth and profitability.

Rob has previously worked in a number of key markets where he led as Client Services Director at Deverell Smith, with Clients that operate across all asset classes, including commercial, residential, mixed-use, housing, retail, hotel, leisure and public sector.

With almost 30 years’ experience in real estate software, Adam Mackay, Senior Account Executive at Yardi, brings a wealth of experience to customers on the best approach for implementation to maximise the efficiency benefits of automated workflows and processes.

Natasha is UK Director of the scale up programme REACH UK supported by the second world’s largest proptech funds Second Century Ventures (SCV). Combined REACH and SCV made circa 200 investments globally to date.

Prior to joining REACH UK/ SCV Natasha spent 5 years in cleantech, running and advising global Mobility as a Service companies in the UK and internationally. She has also run bespoke projects for corporate companies on delivering impact programmes such as London City Airport’s Sustainable Plastic Challenge. She is sustainability ambassador for TableCrowd, board member of Proptech for Good and co-lead of Tech London Advocates proptech working group.

Since joining Reach UK, Natasha has identified numerous opportunities for the real estate sector to diversify and modernise, embracing future trends through cross sector collaboration via partnerships such as Green Angel Syndicate, Green Building Council, to name a few.

Natasha holds an MBA from Kent Business School and is a regular speaker at industry events.

Naqash Tahir is an executive director at PGIM Real Estate, on the global CIO team. Based in London he supports efforts to continually evolve investment practices by exploring new technologies that are intended to leverage proprietary data and artificial intelligence to better inform investment decisions and improve processes. He also seeks to establish partnerships with third-party technology platforms and universities to develop solutions that can be leveraged across PGIM Real Estate.

Previously, Naqash served as Head of Systems for Europe and led various technology initiatives in Asia Pacific.

Naqash has been a significant contributor to the PropTech program in Europe and is a member of AREF's Technology working group and serves on INREV’s Technology committee. He is also a PropTech advisor and mentor, representing and speaking at technology events around Europe.

Naqash began his career fifteen years ago developing solutions primarily for Real Estate.

Naqash has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science and is currently pursuing his MBA through Cranfield University.

Naqash is also the founder and chairman for ReimTech, which is a forum for the Real Estate Investment Management Technology peers across Europe.

As Head of Research & Investment Strategy, Tom is responsible for setting the research approach for Cromwell’s €8 bn international platform spanning Europe and Australasian. He directs research to provide strategic advice to the business, inform investment/divestment/asset management activity in existing mandates and guide new product launches. He is responsible for creating thematic-based strategies and formulating economic and property market house views to support the investment decision making process.

With almost 30 years’ experience in real estate software, Colin has held senior positions at many of the major providers in the sector. His particular area of expertise is in the owner and investor space, empowering real estate visionaries - from REITs to commercial agents - towards increased growth, efficiency and visibility through technology. As well as heading up a significant business development and strategic account management team at MRI, Colin’s knowledge and experience means he also leads in developing and implementing overall strategy for the organisation in the investor market.

Mike is UK editor of Bisnow. Before this, alongside three friends he bought pan-European property mag EuroProperty out of non-existence and re established it before selling the business to PropertyEU. Prior to that he was editor of Property Week, and has also worked for Estates Gazette.
