Oliver is the Real Estate Commercial Director at Carbon Intelligence, part of Accensure, with over eight years of experience delivering ESG services to real estate investors and large corporate occupiers.

Oliver is responsible for developing and delivering net-zero strategies for Commercial Real Estate investors and fund managers. He also leads Ci’s real assets data analytics service that tracks energy performance across 45,000 assets in 60 countries. Oliver also recently joined the BBP REEB Benchmark and AREF ESG Committee and will participate in several collaborations this year with IPSX, the UK-GBC, and GRESB. Oliver has several ESG qualifications, including the RESET air quality certification. Oliver holds an MBA in Business Management.

Katerina Papavasileiou

Associate Director, Real Estate ESG & Responsibility

Ms Papavasileiou is responsible for leading the ESG strategy and execution in the Federated Hermes Real Estate team, including Real Estate Debt. She leads the climate resilience and net-zero agenda across over £6bn of Federated Hermes-managed real estate portfolios. With over 12 years of experience in the sustainability in the built environment, her focus is on developing holistic approaches in meeting environmental and social commitments within the commercial and residential real estate.

She is a member of the King’s Cross Environmental, Social and Government (ESG) Committee and member of the Advisory Board of ConstructZero of Construction Leadership Council.

Prior to Federated Hermes, Katerina was at JLL, leading portfolio level strategic implementation of ESG considerations. She also led the responsibility agenda for several construction and urban regeneration projects in London. She has also supported Associated British Ports with their energy transition and advised National Rail’s Real Estate team on the execution of their sustainability strategy.

Katerina holds a BSc in Management Science and Technology, an MSc in Applied Economics and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business and an MPhil in Environmental Policy from University of Cambridge.

Stuart Wright

Operations Net Zero Delivery Director

Stuart Wright started work as an Army officer in the Royal Engineers training first as a

Military Engineer and then more formally as a Civil Engineer. A career change (after 20

years) took him briefly to PA Consulting and then to Aviva.

Time at Aviva has been spent almost exclusively in the planning, design and operational

delivery of shared services. Roles have included UK property director and Aviva Europe

operational services director and more recently Group Property and Facilities Director,

where he had a wide remit including all operational property acquisitions and disposals as

well as running the worldwide real estate portfolio.

Stuart has now been appointed to lead Aviva’s ambition to be carbon net zero across its

operations and operations supply chain, including all markets, subsidiaries and joint

ventures, by 2030, building on his strong track record of delivering carbon reduction

projects.

Stuart was Chair of the UK Living Wage Foundation Advisory Council from 2016 to 2021,

a body that provides advice and guidance on the development of the Living Wage in the

UK; he is now a Trustee of Citizens UK, the founder charity of the Living wage.

Outside of work Stuart enjoys his family, gardening and his vintage tractor.

Anastasia Klein

Anastasia is a partner in Maples Teesdale’s commercial real estate team and is Head of ESG at our firm. In this role, Anastasia leads our ESG committee, which is committed to understanding the changes and how it affects our clients and their business interests, assisting them to respond swiftly to challenges and opportunities across all sectors and disseminating this information both within our firm and externally.

Anastasia has extensive experience of capital transactions; acquisitions, disposals and refinancing of commercial property, including portfolios and sale and leaseback transactions; developments, pre-lets as well as asset management [shopping centres, retail parks, hotels, warehouses, industrial parks and offices]; and specialist expertise in dealing with embassy and ambassadorial premises.

Anastasia is the co-Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Maples Teesdale. As an individual is passionate about the need for diversity within the legal profession, Anastasia pro-actively supports, and helps drive our Firm’s view that a diverse workplace is key to our business. Anastasia is also responsible for selecting trainees and paralegals to join our team. Anastasia is also a keen advocate of women raising their visibility in both the legal profession and the real estate industry. Anastasia is also a founding member of the Allbright women’s networking club, an active member of Real Estate Balance, and registered as a speaker with Women Talk Real Estate and on the committee of RE:Women.
