As a Director in the European Transactions group, based in London, Fabian is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing transactions. In addition, he focuses on identifying and managing joint-venture relationships with operators and developers across the alternative asset spectrum in Europe.

Prior to joining Harrison Street, he was part of the acquisitions team at InfraRed Capital Partners where he focused on the sourcing, execution and management of commercial

real estate across Europe.

Fabian is a Chartered Surveyor and holds a MSc in Real Estate Investment from the University of Reading and an MBA from INSEAD.

Emma was appointed Chief Operating Officer of British Land in January 2025. Prior to this, she jointly led the company's 53-acre Canada Water development project in central London. She joined British Land in 2014 and became a member of the Executive Committee in 2019.

Emma is Chair of TEDI-London, a higher education provider for future engineers founded by Arizona State University, King’s College London & UNSW Sydney. Also a Non-Executive Director of Assura plc.

Before joining British Land Emma spent 7 years at Landsec where she delivered a number of central London developments and oversaw their strategic land portfolio. She previously held development and land management roles at Barratt and Crest Nicholson.

Mark Evans leads Royal London Asset Management’s property business, comprising a £9 billion UK portfolio across office, retail, industrial, logistics, and the alternative sectors. The portfolio has a large strategic investment in the London market, delivering strong returns via asset management alongside development opportunities. Mark brings deep expertise in investment strategy and a strong record of delivering performance for institutional investors.

Michelle Gass is the Head of Commercial Real Estate at AIB UK, where she leads the bank's strategy and operations within the commercial real estate sector.

Katie Whipp is a recognised leader in real estate innovation, operating at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and commercial performance. As Chief Business Officer at re:sustain—an award-winning energy optimisation platform—she leads commercial growth, go-to-market execution, and operational delivery, ensuring science-led innovation delivers measurable impact across global property portfolios.

With 15+ years in proptech, ESG, and commercial real estate, Katie combines startup agility with deep corporate insight, having held senior roles at CBRE and Cluttons. At Deepki, she built and led the UK business from inception—scaling to 4,000+ assets, growing a 45-person team, and securing the company’s first global partnership with CBRE, inc. expansion to the US and APAC. Under her leadership, Deepki UK won Proptech of the Year 2023 at the Property Week Awards.

Helen is a commercial real estate lawyer working in our London Walbrook headquarters. Her client base includes institutional real estate investment clients and major office occupiers. She has extensive experience of structured real estate transactions and real estate finance.

With over 15 years of experience as an interior architect, Peter plays a pivotal

role in shaping Greystar’s global design standards across a diverse range of

products, including conventional Multifamily, PBSA, Young Professional, and

Attainable Housing.

Peter supports regional teams across the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and South

America in delivering development projects, identifying opportunities that

elevate product quality, improve operational efficiency, enhance residential

experience and maximise long-term project value.

Prior to joining Greystar, Peter held a senior position as an interior architect

working closely with developers and project teams to deliver successful, high-

end residential developments, with a particular focus on apartment and

amenity design.

Peter holds a First-Class Honours degree in Interior and Spatial Design from

Chelsea College of Art and Design, part of the University of the Arts London.

Abigail Dean is the global head of strategic insights for Nuveen Real Estate, responsible for the organisation’s global research, sustainability, proptech and innovation functions. She oversees the Tomorrow’s World Strategy, which uses analysis of demographic, sustainability and technology trends to ensure the investment strategy is focused on buildings that are fit for the future.

Dean has recently overseen the organisation setting a target to achieve net-zero carbon by 2040. The target exceeds by a decade the commitment that the World Green Building Council states is necessary to meet the Paris Accord, and is the largest commitment made by a real estate investment manager to date, based on AUM and geographical diversity. She has also led the organisation’s approach to the integration of physical climate risk considerations into the investment process. Creating a positive and inclusive team culture is also a high priority. Dean sits on the NRE People and Culture Committee and the European Charity Committee.

Dean is passionate about driving sustainable change in the property sector and sits on several industry committees, including the GRESB Benchmarking Committee and the INREV ESG committee. She is also a board member of the Better Buildings Partnership and was a key collaborator in the development of the BBP Climate Commitment.

Outside of work, Dean is an enthusiastic (if moderate-paced) runner and enjoys cycling, hiking, skiing and swimming. She has participated in the JLL Property Triathlon most years in the past decade. She has two children, aged 7 and 10, so is a reluctant player in park-based football games and a more enthusiastic participant in family bike rides, forest walks and competitive board games.

Fons van Dorst is Executive Managing Director UK at Edge.

Fons has been at Edge for a decade and has significant experience in all aspects of development - from acquisition, funding and structuring to leasing and sales. He is leading Edge's UK expansion and acquired its first site in Britain: Edge London Bridge.

Richard joined G&T as a graduate and has built a strong reputation for delivering complex cut-and-carve projects, from live retail and leisure assets to major commercial redevelopments. Richard has also been involved in large residential developments and is very au fait the associated enabling and placemaking that comes with these. He challenges conventional thinking, driving innovation and efficiency in every project. Passionate about client success, Richard is dedicated to helping clients realise their vision and achieve excellent project outcomes. He is an APC Assessor and is a member of the firm’s Building Safety Act working group.

James is a partner in Shoosmiths’ Real Estate team, specialising in commercial development, funding and strategic land. He’s the national head of the firm's real estate development group and co-lead for the Mobility, Logistics and Manufacturing Sector.

James advises developers, investors and occupiers on forward-funded, pre-let schemes, often in the logistics and industrial sectors. He also has a wealth of experience acting on large-scale strategic schemes involving both residential and commercial elements - often involving land assembly, promotion, servicing and phased disposal - with all the legal and practical complexities they involve.

Joe is Stanhope’s Head of New Business. His role is to help create alignment with our partners and a focus on origination and execution of property transactions.

Since joining Stanhope in 2019 Joe has led on the acquisition of a 525,000 sq ft City of London tower development site (70 Gracechurch Street) and a 300,000 sq ft core plus investment (Building 7, Chiswick Park). Before joining Stanhope Joe was at Alchemy Asset Management, a specialist operating partner focussed on the office sector in London and the South East. He’s especially experienced in the City of London having worked for a number of years as an investment agent at BNP Paribas Real Estate. Joe is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and holds an MSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading and a Business Degree from Durham University.

Ben Giddens is Director of Development and Masterplanning at The Earls Court Development Company, and brings significant large scale urban transformation experience. Prior to his current role he was Development Director at Argent Related, working on the 180-acre Brent Cross Town regeneration site, and previously spent a decade at Quintain, as Executive Director for Development, where he was responsible for the development progression of Wembley Park, the largest Build to Rent scheme in the UK.

Lloyd Lee is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Yoo Capital. Mr. Lee is chiefly responsible for steering the firm’s investment strategy of blending fiscal responsibility with social responsibility and serves as Chair of the firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Lee has over 25 years and $15 billion of real estate private equity experience in corporate opportunities as well as large-scale urban regeneration involving complex real estate operations in hospitality, entertainment, and urban living.

Over the last several years, Mr. Lee has led the firm's expansion into live entertainment, theatres, film and television studios and separately life sciences and innovation hubs with a strategic focus on delivering accessible creative communities that uniquely blend major global brands with local businesses and start-ups, educational institutions and community groups and non-profit organizations. Mr. Lee is a graduate of Harvard University, where he studied and continues to support theatre and the arts, and serves to steer the Harvard Learn to Fish Christian Research Endowment Fund.

Graham is one of the partners in the Hogan Lovells UK Real Estate team and coordinates the firm’s Life Sciences Real Estate sector. Graham has a long track record with Life Sciences, acting for both investors and operators. Graham was part of the team that set up the original Harwell Science and Innovation Campus for the UKAEA, a public and private joint venture that delivered the campus we see thriving today. Since then, Graham has acted for a range of Life Science operators, including Eli Lilly on all of Lilly’s UK Real Estate lab, office and development requirements. Graham regularly contributes to Real Estate Life Sciences thought leadership, as part of which he delivers training to clients considering: ground-up developments, repurposing existing assets for Life Sciences use, flexible leasing models, cooperation and promotion agreements, ESG’s role in Life Sciences, as well as bespoke asset management and dilapidations strategies. Graham takes a commercial but collaborative approach to negotiations, as it is imperative that parties approaching a Life Sciences Real Estate deal do so with a true sense of flexibility, partnership and innovation.

Vijay is responsible for executing the sales and business development activities for WIG’s

Indoor Networks business working in partnership with the UK’s leading real estate owners, developers and operators.

WIG is an independent wireless infrastructure operator that has pioneered the neutral host model in the UK. The company builds and operates communication towers (masts) in rural and suburban areas together with 5G capable small cells, and indoor networks to improve mobile coverage inside office buildings, hotels, shopping centres, stadiums and on city streets. WIG’s neutral host networks already provide coverage in venues with over 1.6bn of annual footfall and is backed by Brookfield Infrastructure a leading global infrastructure investment fund.

Vijay has spent over 25 years in the technology, media and telecoms industries having held senior executive roles with leading organisations such as News Corporation, Sky and Video Networks. Vijay holds an Engineering honours degree from University of London and an MBA from London Business School.
