In her 27 years at PRP, Clare has led the design team on a series of award-winning projects in the sector, authored several design guides and undertaken multiple portfolio reviews of specialist housing stock for clients. Clare has a real passion to share her knowledge and to bring innovation and delight to 'age-friendly' housing.

Samantha has over 20 years of experience in the Healthcare and Senior Living sectors, specialising in a wide range of facilities including care homes, retirement villages, medical centres, and hospitals. She advises institutional, corporate and private investors primarily in the UK, offering consultancy, transactional services and demographic analysis and research on market needs for healthcare developments. Samantha frequently presents at conferences and contributes to various industry publications and is a co-author of the RICS Information Paper on the Valuation of Independent Healthcare Properties in the UK. She has held key roles, including Chair of the RICS Trade Related Valuation Group, and is a Fellow of the RICS. Recently, she was appointed to the Board of Women in Retirement Living (WiRL) and contributed to the recent APPG Housing and Care for Older People – The Regeneration of Outdated Sheltered Housing and KTP on Age-inclusive design principles: Pioneering a new standard for later living.

He has led teams on large, complex projects across various sectors, providing cost consultancy services and strategic advice. In recent years he has worked with Inspired Villages and other later living clients, delivering Integrated Retirement Communities and drawing upon commercial expertise to advise from initial feasibility to completion and handover, ensuring successful project outcomes through pragmatic solutions and effective management.

Jenny Buterchi is an accomplished architect and expert in the later living and specialist care sector with a strong focus on intergenerational design and place-making. As a partner at PRP, she leads the later living team, ensuring consistent delivery of award-winning architecture. Jenny has collaborated with a diverse array of clients across the UK, creating high-quality housing for older individuals across all tenures.

Extensive experience within the healthcare sector has enhanced her expertise in designing inclusive environments that cater to the needs of older people and those with physical and sensory impairments. Passionate about sharing her knowledge, Jenny has authored several design guides addressing various aspects of specialist provision for older people, mental health, and learning disabilities.

Ben Rosewall

Ben has over 20 years’ real estate experience with a career spanning the design,

construction, advisory and investment sectors.

He joined Legal & General Capital in 2020 to head up Senior Housing and is

responsible for their direct investments as well as the long-term investment

strategy.

Ben is a board member on the Inspired Villages JV, a £500m joint venture between

Legal & General Capital and NatWest Pension Fund, and is also a member of the

Older People’s Housing Taskforce where he co-leads the Products Workstream.

Prior to joining Legal & General, Ben was a Senior Director at CBRE where he led

their senior housing business in the UK.
