Adam Burstow joined Grosvenor in 2013 as Group IT Director responsible for creating value through technology.

Before joining Grosvenor Adam managed IT services at Telereal Trillium as IT Director for 11 years. Prior to that he worked for KPMP Consulting where he advised on improving performance through people, processes and technology.

Adam has an MBA from Cass Business School at City University, and is a Fellow of the British Computer Society. He is a liveryman of the Information Technologists Company, where as a member of the Arts Panel he helps arts organisations to make effective use of technology

Pete Finnerty joined MRI Software in 2014 as Commercial Director for EMEA. With over 20 years of enterprise software experience in financial services, Pete has forged relationships with some of the largest financial institutions in the U.K. In more recent years, Pete has become a strong advocate for leveraging technology in the real estate investment sphere. Originally from the U.S., Pete has lived in the U.K. for more than 20 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Taylor Wescoatt is Seedcamp's Property Tech specialist, as well as Expert in Residence on Product for Seedcamp's portfolio of 240 startups and growing. Taylor founded and operates the Concrete Platform, a Proptech focused partnership between Starwood Capital and Seedcamp, seeking out the most innovative companies serving the Real Estate sector. Taylor has been in the digital sector for 20 years, a founder of several startups, as well as a leader at well known brands like Time Out, eBay, and AOL.

Charlie Wade is the EMEA Managing Director for VTS, the modern platform for commercial

real estate. The fastest growing technology company in commercial real estate history, it has

over 12 billion sq ft of office, retail and industrial assets combined managed on its platform

globally. Prior to VTS, Charlie spent 10 years at JLL, working in London, New York and Silicon Valley,

leading business development for the West Coast hub of JLL’s International Desk.

Nick has 25 years of experience of providing legal advice to clients in the TMT sector and, more recently, in the wider digital economy. Clients include telecoms and media companies, vendors and banks operating in the TMT sector and digitalising businesses generally. He has advised on a range of high-profile transactions across the globe, including roll-out of new services, network shares, joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals, as well as providing the sector input on financings and disputes.

Nick is recognised as a leader in his field for both legal and industry knowledge. His practice has taken him across the globe with clients and deals spanning Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. He is bilingual in English and French and fluent in Japanese.

Kathryn is Group Product Innovation Manager at Hammerson. She is responsible for shaping the customer experience within Hammerson’s shopping centres and retail parks to help create destinations that excite shoppers, attract retailers, reward investors and serve communities. Kathryn previously worked for Home Retail Group for 12 years, latterly as the Multichannel Commercial Development Manager at Homebase. During her time at Home Retail Group she successfully delivered a number of large scale multichannel transformation projects, including the implementation of click & collect for Homebase.com. Kathryn’s experience and background gives her an excellent understanding of both the retail & property sector.

Hammerson is a FTSE 100 company with a real estate portfolio in the UK and France of around £7.7 billion. The Company has investments in 22 major shopping centres, 22 retail parks and 15 outlet villages providing a total of nearly 2.2 million m² of retail space, including Bullring, Brent Cross and Les Terrasses du Port.

Andrew is a Landscape Architect whose work explores the connection between people and

nature and he formed Grant Associates in 1997 to test the creative possibilities of sustainable

landscape architecture and ecological placemaking. In 2012 he was awarded the title of Royal

Designer for Industry (RDI) in recognition of his pioneering global work in landscape

architecture. He is a Visiting Professor for the Department of Landscape, Sheffield University,

and an Honorary Fellow of the RIBA reflecting his work on key architectural projects such as the

2008 Stirling Prize winning Accordia. Andrew led the multi-disciplinary design team on the £500

million Gardens by the Bay project at Bay South in Singapore. This 54 hectare public park has

won multiple international design awards including the Building Project of the year at the 2012

World Architecture Festival. He is a co-founder of the Forest of Imagination project in Bath.

Jo Reid is the Managing Director of Calvium, an award winning mobile app development agency and Digital Placemaking Studio that specialises in creating apps that foster peoples connection to place. With over 25 years experience in the tech industry, Jo has previously worked for Rank Xerox, Texas Instruments and Hewlett Packard Laboratories on applications of Artificial Intelligence in expert systems and research experiments to create and evaluate the value of experiences enabled by the Internet of Things. Her published works in Experience Design have evolved to become the foundation underpinning the Calvium approach to Digital Placemaking projects with clients such as; The City of London Corporation, Tower Bridge, Historic Royal Palaces, The Guardian and the National Trust to name a few. Jo is interested in how the digital and physical worlds combine, and in discussing the value that Digital Placemaking may have for those working in Real Estate.

Tom is an architect and design director for objects, spaces, buildings and places across multiple

sectors and cultures, including education, workplace, residential, healthcare, mixed use and master

planning. He has an inquisitive insight into these evolving and sometimes convergent typologies

leading to a number of R+D explorations and innovations, including new learning and teaching

environments, an agile workplace chassis that can adapt to other uses, a revitalisation of the

industrial shed, and currently new intensification models for converging industrial and residential

markets. These explorations have informed his building projects in the UK, Istanbul, Moscow and

SEAsia.

His recent design work includes the Student Union building for Imperial College London, the Jennie

Lee Innovation Building at the Open University, Mid Tech Hangars in Cambridgeshire, an Academy

for the City of London, and multiple office and residential projects in Moscow and Istanbul. He is a

close collaborator with clients and colleagues alike, enjoying the sparks of creativity born of shared

ambitions, challenges and the unexpected.

He studied at Kingston University and the Architectural Association, is a regular conference panellist

and speaker, a critic at the Bartlett School of Architecture, a trustee of the Higher Education Design

Quality Forum (HEDQF), and a practice member of the London School of Architecture.

Nicky is Director of Global Occupier Trends at Savills where she delivers vital cross border connection for both the business and clients, focusing on the influence of new technology and innovations in the home and workplace as the lines between the two become increasingly blurred. Nicky also focuses on global trends that are disrupting and enhancing the entire real estate sector and impacting the occupant experience.

Previously to this role, Nicky was a Director in the Worldwide Occupier Services team and before Savills, her professional background was at the Bar where she practiced law, followed by work at the BBC as a radio producer and presenter.

More than 20 years experience in Telecoms, from development to product management, marketing and sales. An industry ambassador for Cisco with proven thought leadership and innovation. A motivational team leader with many years in management in a senior engineering level and a successful project manager with numerous achievements on complex tasks and globally distributed teams. Previous positions include, Chief Architect for IP Telephony development in EMEA, Head of Unified Communications Technology for Europe and Collaboration CTO for UK and Ireland. Currently, the Head of Innovation Technology for UK and Ireland, responsible to accelerate innovation, by creating proof of concepts, pioneering new technologies towards country digitisation.

Tom is a senior manager at Lloyds Banking Group, working in the Retail division. He is 33 years old, and has worked in a range of sectors as a Management Consultant for Booze and Co. and in the Media when he held a senior management role at the BBC.

Tom holds a Masters from Cambridge University, and was a Fulbright Scholar to Harvard University.

Tom’s interests include photography, football (playing and supporting), cricket, hiking, camping and cooking.

Tom is local to his ward. He works on Bishopsgate and lives in Spitalfields. He is a Director of Spitalfields Cloisters Management Company Limited.

David has worked in the Central London development market since the early 1980’s. He was a founding Director of CO—RE, and has been Chief Executive since 2014. He has been responsible for a large number of planning consents and developments of significant Central London schemes. Projects in the City and West End include 10 Fenchurch Avenue, Watermark Place, LSQ London, 20 Ropemaker and Lansdowne House. David is the immediate past President of the City Property Association and a Board Member of the London Property Alliance. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Mark is a Board Director of the Building Services operation at Waterman Group Plc. An accomplished team leader and Chartered Engineer with 28 years’ experience as a Building Services Consultant, Mark is known for taking a lead role in many of the company’s multidisciplinary projects across London, including the well-known Angel Court development in London which was the first tower to complete in 2017. He has built up an extensive portfolio throughout his career, most recently featuring Fen Court, One Angel Lane, The Avenue, Jersey International Finance Centre, 8 Moorgate, Kings Cross T1 & P1, The Clarges Estate, 6 Bevis Marks and Finsbury Circus House.

Mark champions low energy design within the business and actively promotes the integration of sustainable solutions as part of a holistic approach to building design. He maintains an active, ‘hands on’ strategic role, with specialisms in the financial and commercial fit-out, refurbishment and new build sectors, as well as large scale residential and mixed-use schemes.

Ed joined in 1995 and now runs one of the largest architectural studios. He has worked on many award winning designs particularly in the arts and office sectors. His team have been involved in a wide range of projects ranging from Hackney Picture House to Nomura’s HQ in the City. Recently completed, high profile buildings in London include: Finsbury Circus House, 6 Bevis Marks and Carmelite Riverside. Currently underway are a variety of projects including 200 flats in Shoreditch and an office tower next to the Bank of England. Ed has a strong interest in pragmatic sustainable architecture recently achieving planning for extremely low energy use naturally ventilated production offices at Pinewood Studios. He also has a passion for playing football, painting and sketching and has exhibited his work in several shows.

Nick joined Stanhope in 2015. His main focus is project delivery.

He has a multi-disciplinary background with particular experience in commercial and high-rise developments and leads the structural services discipline. Nick is a chartered member of the CIOB

Tony is a construction director at Mace. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Tony has been responsible for the successful delivery of many different types of projects ranging from high end residential at The Phillimores in Kensington to the monumental riverside development of More London and the historic art-deco luxury of Cafe Royal. Tony has most recently been responsible for the delivery of Stanhope’s One Angel Court.
